The Finished Work of Christ: Establishing His Kingdom Within is a bold and timely restoration of the Royal Gospel—a gospel not of religion, fear, or striving, but of love, freedom, and divine coherence. This book invites readers to awaken to the indwelling Christ and reclaim the truth that has been buried beneath centuries of distortion.
Drawing from Scripture, history, and Spirit-led insight, the author exposes twelve echoes of distortion that have shaped institutional Christianity and obscured the original message of the Kingdom. With clarity and compassion, he dismantles these inherited frameworks and calls readers into a deeper, more radiant understanding of the Finished Work of Christ.
This is not a book of abstract theology or distant ideals. It is a living manifesto for transformation—one that empowers readers to embody the Kingdom here and now. Through vivid metaphors, visual theology, and practical revelation, the book reveals how Christ’s victory is not just a past event but a present reality, establishing divine order within every believer.
Readers will discover how to live from union with Christ, walk in Spirit-led freedom, and participate in the restoration of all things. They will be equipped to discern truth from tradition, embrace their divine identity, and become vessels of love, coherence, and Kingdom flow.
Whether you are a seeker, reformer, pastor, artist, or everyday believer, this book offers a fresh lens and a sacred invitation. It is for those who long to move beyond dogma and into the living reality of Christ within. It is for those who sense that something has been missing—and are ready to find it.
The Finished Work of Christ is more than a theological work. It is a call to awaken, a guide to restoration, and a blueprint for embodying the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life.
Bobby Joe was raised in a Christian home and radically transformed by Christ’s love at age 18. For over four decades, he has pursued the heart of God—learning, serving, teaching, and leading, including 38 years in children’s ministry. His passion for truth led to an in-depth study into the revealing of Jesus Christ, through which The Finished Work was unveiled. This book is the fruit of a lifelong journey to know Him more fully and to help others live from the Kingdom within. Bobby is a son, brother, husband, father of three, and grandfather of seven—anchored in the love of Christ and devoted to restoration.
One man's very person journey of faith. It doesn't really align with my faith journey, but I appreciate the author's efforts and sharing. I'm thankful for the complimentary copy via goodreads giveaway.
There is a lot of good information in this book. It makes you think about what other people believe or have learned by others in our society that sku their thinking.

“Christ has finished the work. The Spirit has been poured out. The kingdom is within us.”
“And the kingdom is governed by love - not law, not fear, not hierarchy. Love is the government of heaven. It dignifies, restores, and empowers.”
“Evangelism becomes less about argument and more about presence. It’s not a script - it’s a spark. We carry the light, and when people encounter it, their eyes begin to open. This kind of evangelism is fearless and gentle. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t coerce. It trusts the Spirit to do what the spirit can do: awaken hearts to truth.”
“When we proclaim reconciliation, we silence the voice of condemnation. When we embody love, we create safe spaces for healing. The message affirms: You are allowed to feel. You are allowed to struggle. You are allowed to heal slowly. And through it all, you are never outside the embrace of God.”
“You don’t need a platform to leave a legacy - you need presence. You don’t need fame - you need faithfulness. You don’t need applause - you need authenticity.”
“Religion teaches passivity. But Jesus gave authority. You’re not a victim of circumstance - you’re a vessel of dominion. The Finished Work empowers you to silence every lie, every fear, every force that opposes love.”
The writer is one who shows how salvation is discovered to believe and from being beloved by God even before creation. Living from the fact that salvation is revealed as finished in Christ, is to rest in grace, live as family, discipleship as discovery. Evangelism is invitation not begging, because salvation has been finished on the cross. This book also covers why we are the church, not institution, among other ways beliefs about Christian’s have been formed and believed not according to what the Bible shows salvation and being a Christian is.
I appreciated how this book discussed the ways people distort the Bible to support hateful rhetoric. The explanation of what religion should mean to each person was thoughtful. It included a great breakdown of Bible verses that support how to live a Christian life.
“Because when you declare that God's house is not down the street, you're not just relocating God-you're liberating Him. You're tearing down the walls that men built to contain Him, control Him, and monetize Him.”
I think this book was full of a lot of important information and a lot of factual evidence on how biblical information has been distorted and misunderstood, not my typical type of book but still a good read
