I love this guy. So sensitive to the influence that our society's sub-cultures have on each other, which is often so pervasive that we can't even see it.

"Hear That Long Snake Moan" may be the best essay ever written about music, America, or both. For this and a host of other reasons, please read Michael and rescue this book from undeserved obscurity.
