New author unlocked… and wow, what a book!!!!!!!!!
This was such a wild ride, in the best way possible. Angst, drama, twists, chemistry, darkness, romance — it honestly had everything. I was hooked from the start and completely invested all the way through.
Alessia is a young mafia princess, a virgin, and basically a bargaining chip for her family. She’s forced into an arranged marriage with the nephew of a mafia don, someone she doesn’t want at all. Then things go sideways fast.
At her engagement party, she’s publicly humiliated when her fiancé is caught with another woman. She drinks too much, ends up in the wrong room… and loses her virginity to the last man she should be with......... Lorenzo, the don himself, oh, God!!!!!
When her fiancé is presumed dead, Lorenzo steps in to fulfill the marriage agreement himself. And let me just say… the older silver fox does not hesitate.
Their relationship starts off tense and uneasy, but little by little Alessia starts to see that there’s much more to Lorenzo than the cold, dangerous man he presents to the world. The chemistry between them is pure fire.
I loved how she helps him recover from his injuries and how he keeps putting himself in danger to protect her, even though his legs are still healing and he’s trying to hide his weakness from rival families.
There’s also a traitor in the mix, which adds so much tension. Lorenzo doesn’t trust anyone and starts to suspect Alessia might be the leak, which leads to some intense confrontations.
Add in a creepy ex-wife causing chaos, rival families circling, and things spiral fast. When Alessia is kidnapped and used as a pawn again, Lorenzo has to push past his physical limits to save the woman he’s fallen in love with.
Lorenzo is very much a man who hides his weaknesses — especially his injury — and Alessia completely throws him off balance. From their very first dark, sexy encounter, I was hooked. Watching him slowly soften while still being dangerous and dominant was incredibly satisfying. And yes… the silver fox teaching his young bride BDSM? Very hot!!!!!
This book made me laugh, made me anxious, broke my heart a little, and then put it back together again. The drama between rival families, the healing (both physical and emotional), the spice, and the romance all worked so well together. The panther moments actually made me giggle, which I wasn’t expecting at all.
This is book three in the Bratva Christmas Obsession series and includes forced marriage, mafia politics, betrayal, age gap, secret pregnancy, and BDSM themes, so you definitely need to enjoy those tropes. I do, and I absolutely devoured this story!!!
I’m new to this author, but I was not disappointed at all. The writing was solid, the FMC was great, and the chemistry was intense. Highly recommend if you like dark mafia romance with lots of spice and emotional payoff.

Loved it but not a Christmas book at all. Well written richly detailed complex, intriguing, plot twists, emotional angst, and more. Alessia a young virgin mafia princess is being used as a pawn by her family forced to wed the nephew of the mafia don someone she doesn’t want. But when he’s thought killed his uncle Lorenzo the don steps in and agrees to marry her. This because the night of her engagement party being humiliated by her fiancée being with another woman in front of everyone she gets drunk stumbles into the wrong room and gives her virginity to the don.
Things start off shaky but bit by bit she sees more to him than he shows and the chemistry is hot.she also helps hide his injury and actively works to help him recover. Alessia is set to be married but circumstances have her marrying her fiancé’s uncle Lorenzo instead. This story captivated my attention right from the start as the tension between these two sparked with electricity. There is suspense and danger as Alessia and Lorenzo become more intimate and begin to form something deeper. I really enjoyed the fact that she is a feisty FMC which had me entertained throughout this read.

I really enjoyed this book, the story was interesting and the characters were well developed. I really did love Lorenzo and the way he gave her freedom (don't normally get that in Mafia stories, it was refreshing.)
However I did figure out the twist that came at the end, earlier in the book I knew it was coming, but it didn't take anything away from the story.

A new author for me but boy this was a great read, all the drama you want from this sort of book plus a great storyline with chemistry too.

The author has created a story that takes us into the lives of Lorenzo and Alesia. It's a great storyline, and how Alesia finally reprimanded Sophia and put her in her place was wonderful. Highly recommended!
