Dits: The Good, The Bad and The Unrepeatable: Lifelong Lessons Drawn from the Authentic Journey of a Royal Marines Commando

Rate this book
From somewhat humble beginnings, this is the story of a man who has truly evolved to live life, to have loved and laughed hard, and most importantly, to have learned along the way.

Damian ‘Obi’ Todd takes you on a raw, riotous journey across the globe–through physical breakdowns, chance encounters, and so many friendships forged and lost in the unruliness of life.

Written with demonstrative humour, heart, and unflinching honesty, he reflects on leadership, vulnerability, and the absurd beauty of life on the edge, in absolute cinematic detail.

Whether he’s navigating Walmart car parks, bonding with MMA royalty, or dodging disaster in the Mojave Desert, Damian’s storytelling is cinematic, soulful, and unforgettable. This isn’t just a memoir, it’s a masterclass in turning mishaps into meaning and finding grace in the grit. These are the real-life stories and the lessons learned from the world of a Royal Marines Commando.

Brace yourself for some attitude, some unique insight, some trepidation and for some absolute inspiration. This ride is both messy and incredibly magnetic, but moreover, it is magnificently human. This is Dits–The Good, The Bad and The Unrepeatable.

A highly amusing read! I’d love to meet the author and go out for a few drinks he sounds a complicated character with a weird sense of humour!
