He’s powerful. Obsessive. Gorgeous.
He can have anything—and anyone—he wants.
And from this day forward... he's mine. Avery Ross and billionaire Dominic Baine have fought for their love through every secret, every scar, and every storm.

Now, as they stand on the edge of forever, about to be married in six weeks' time, the world watches the couple who defied the odds to claim their forever.

But when their future is tested once more, can Nick and Avery protect the life—and the love—they’ve fought so hard to build?

As their long-awaited wedding draws near, old wounds and past sins resurface, and Avery and Nick must navigate the dangerous space between public expectations and private devotion. Every choice tests their bond. Every truth draws them closer—even as outside forces threaten to pull them apart.

For 100 Forevers, the intense new chapter in Lara Adrian's bestselling 100 Series, proves that a love this deep doesn’t come easy—not when a ruthless billionaire’s world is ruled by power, haunted by the past, and reshaped by the one woman he’d burn the world to protect.

Perfect for readers who crave spicy modern contemporary romance, morally gray billionaires, and page-turning intensity, this newest novel raises the stakes in a billionaire romance series readers can't get enough of.

It is very hard for me to accept how underrated this series is.
First of all, the writing is so good, way past 5 stars. Second, the writing is so good, so poetic, so profound, there are a very few authors out there who are capable of coming close, and all of them are not very popular. That says a lot about the trash that is being promoted on booktok and the intelligence of the readers. And third, this couple is, I dare to say, better than Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell, and those who know, they know. Nick and Gideon are very similar in the way the love, very intense, extremely protective and obsessive about their women, bust this series is more into the main characters and less into the side characters. We feel somewhat closer to the couple without being bothered too much by the drama. And this fourth book of Avery and Nick ist so raw and emotional…I just pray It will not be the last.

Finished: I have no words to describe de intensity of this book. I have literally cried at every chapter, bawling at the last. This is for me the best series there is and there ever will be. The bouquet of high quality writing, deeply absorbing storytelling, the perfect character and the intensity of their feelings, and this last book that is pure perfection.
What Lara Adrian gives us with this book is exactly what we hope from every series after they find their HEA: that snap in their future, the live going on with bumps in the road and never stopping discovering each other, the growth of the love and the trust.
I missed that in Crossfire so much, that is why this series surpassed Crossfire and many other stories that ended to abruptly and left us with wanting more. This is the crowning, the icing on the cake, the cherry on top. Perfection.

100 Forevers!

What a great ending for the series. It’s a roller coaster with Nick and Avery, in a good way. As always, Lara delivers a great story with suspense, love and Happiness. Will we see them again in a different series? Sebastian Roth maybe.

potential triggers: c/ptsd, past stalking and extortion, past CSA and child abuse, grief, attempted murder, panic attacks, harassment

was it entertaining?

i’m not necessarily opposed to anything that happened here, but it was all so ridiculous. admittedly, it’s been a few years since i first read these books, but i don’t remember them being quite so ridiculous. first of all, i know i’m supposed to suspend disbelief, but all billionaires are morally grey AT BEST. it’s like…a defining characteristic of being a billionaire. i don’t know that it’s really necessary to have your MMC having full colour fantasies of playing rock-em sock-em robots with paparazzi for doing their jobs. and why do we have to be inside his head while it’s happening?

in the same vein, i like avery more than i usually like these sorts of
FMCs. she’s not a wilting wallflower or coddled princess who sinks into nick’s bullshit like a simpering ninny. she has her moments where it’s very clear that she needs the assistance of a licensed professional who specializes in C/PTSD. but she’s happy to call him on his shit, repeatedly.

however, this side plot was absurd. we’ve spent all these years reading about how meticulous and considered both nick and beck are. even if nick is distracted, beck, the magically omnipresent, omnipotent black friend, is always there to pick up his slack. and yet, neither of them had enough foresight or presence of mind to sorry, but i don’t buy it. and even if i could believe this egregiously out of character behaviour, you mean to tell me that neither of them ran a background check on every MADNESS.

the entire plot hinges on two characters, including the MMC, being so uncharacteristically sloppy and behind the ball that it’s all i could think about. 2/5 stars

was it enjoyable?

not really — see above. and below.

i’ve never really subscribed to the belief that in fact, i’ve seldom read 2 characters that need less. this was just so unpleasant to read because i had to stop every few chapters (and the chapters are like ~10 pages each) and reconcile how absurd it all was. the “voice of reason” doesn’t stop at any point to consider how neither of them is actually prepared for this. the central conflict hinges on 2 characters prized for their ability to know everything about everyone, not knowing something so incredibly obvious.

also, i know these are marketed as "spicy" but i skimmed over most of the sex scenes in this. they’re gratuitous and don’t really add anything to the character or plot development. yes, yes, he’s “feral” for her, but they’re almost always having sex just because they’re both in the room at the same time. how does nick ever get any work done as a mogul if he’s always rushing to avery, cooking for avery, or inside of avery? 2/5 stars

was it well-written?

i almost wish i could say no, just really round out this review. but, this could have lost about 50 pages if the descriptions for literally everything weren't so damn long and detailed. how many times are we going to read a blow-by-blow of the pearls on the dress and the jewellery and the veil and the time he tied her up with pearls...? it's also just so repetitive. they fight, nick sulks in his office and replays the entire fight in his head, they come together and recap the fight, then make up. that's another 50 pages, right there. 3/5 stars
