From start to finish, I was hooked. It felt like a journey through middle earth, going from the dingy dive bar to the sunlit mountain tops and everywhere in between. The MMC is a refreshing change of pace from the typical brooding, closed-off type. Hudson is charismatic, charming, funny, thoughtful, and all that is good in the world. The FMC is a witty, intelligent, independent, and passionate. The two of them together? Perfection. This is the way you properly execute the ‘black cat/golden retriever’ dynamic. I truly cannot wait to read more from this author!
