When Skye fakes psychic readings to save her late aunt’s struggling shop, she never expects to draw the wrath of a goddess—or the attention of her infuriatingly charming son, Cullen Eros. Cursed with uncontrollable visions and bound to a god she doesn’t trust, Skye is thrust into a world of divine politics, dangerous prophecies, and a looming war between gods and Titans. As her powers grow and her connection to Cullen deepens, Skye must confront the truth about her bloodline and decide who she’s willing to become: the girl who runs from destiny, or the woman who could reshape it.

Kimberly Rison lives in Maryland with her amazing—and most handsome—husband, who definitely isn’t standing behind her as she writes this. Together, they share a chaotic toddler and an even more chaotic tabby cat. When she isn’t writing or dreaming up worlds of gods and goddesses, she’s usually obsessing over K-dramas while putting hot sauce on popcorn or cayenne pepper…I know you’re thinking about it, and yes it’s delicious.

Arrows Align is so fun to read! The characters are rich in personality and diving into the whole world of the gods is such a fun premise. The chemistry and banter is also a 10/10. Definitely read this!

I am a massive fan of books about Greek gods, and when I read the blurb about gods and Titans, I was hopeful that it wouldn't be one of the big three this time. And I wasn't disappointed! I really loved this story, which starts with a grieving woman having a failed experience with a dating app, Arrows Align, and then encountering an immoral influencer who asks her about the app as a passing comment. When Skye replies that she'd burn it to the ground whilst being live streamed, she attracts the attention of the owner of Arrows Align - who is in fact, a goddess. (I am deliberately not naming the gods, to keep your interest piqued!) After she is cursed by Cullen, the goddesses son, she is then drawn into the world of the Olympian gods and goddesses - with dramatic consequences.

Skye is estranged from the majority of her family, and has been under the wing of her late Aunt Lydia for the majority of her life. She is desperately trying to keep Lydia's shop afloat, and would like a partner, so when she tries out Arrows Align and it goes terribly badly, her instinct when asked about it is to slate it. She doesn't expect to be stabbed with an arrow by a god for it. Nor does she expect that god to take a keen interest in her, and insist she needs to be bonded with him, and made immortal, in order to escape that curse. Naturally, she despises him, whilst also finding him insanely attractive. Her plan is to remain in his home until she can drink the nectar at the winter solstice and receive her immortality, then leave (although quite where the naive soul thinks she can go to escape a god is unclear, bless her!). But as is wont in a forced proximity situation, his actions lead to her feelings changing, and as they discover more about her heritage and what the evil brothers want with her, Skye begins to accept that she is going to be a key player in what could be a huge shakeup for the gods and goddesses of Olympus. She never shies away from anything thrown at her, instead stepping up and seizing control of her destiny. Her friendships with Euryale and Sara are strong and a joy to see develop, and the bravery she displays as they make their attempt to rescue Cullen, Zeph and Harmony and stop the brothers from causing chaos and war is breathtaking. Having been taught tarot by her Aunt Lydia, Skye's ability to read people is key to her character - and her actions and reactions, and this theme is demonstrated throughout the book.

When Cullen is commanded by his mother to curse Skye, she piques his interest. He is continually watching her after he stabs her with his arrow, and when he sees her at a club, and discovers his brothers have taken an interest in her, he goes into protect mode. When his Mother commands him to end her there and then, and Skye manages to free him from that command, he knows she is far more special than even he believed. He is determined to see her freed of the curse, and assumes she will bond to him with no concerns - the arrogance of a god at work! He does prove himself to be kind, thoughtful, and tries to be honest, although he feels a need to shelter her from the complete picture, to protect her. His love for her is complete, and he deliberately puts barriers in the way of any physical intimacy for quite a while, knowing she needs to be all in too. He would give his life willingly if it meant she was to survive the curse. He is stubborn and passionate, and doesn't always realise how hurtful his angry responses can be, pushing both his allies, Zeph and Harmony, away at times. His need to protect Skye is all-consuming, and I've seen less passion for that from even fated mates.

The supporting cast of this novel are excellent, and each thoroughly unique in their personalities (except the twins). There are the main players of Olympus present, but also lesser gods, which have a greater depth to this novel and really gripped my interest. The twin antagonists are chilling and evil, a constant step ahead and have horrendous powers. Euryale is an excellent friend and support to Skye, with a fierce power at her fingertips. Keep an eye on Marnie the cat *wink*. Sara the nymph is fiercely loyal to Cullen, but is cheeky and capable of a lot more than you'd think. One character comes through more than you'd expect based on the details given about them throughout the story, which was incredible.

I loved that there was a lot to take in throughout Arrows Align, and yet it didn't feel overwhelming or like an infodump. There were a lot of names, but it didn't feel difficult to wrangle who was who. It was paced brilliantly, with tension studded through certain scenes and joy through others. The final third was brilliantly written with a very visual feel, and left you with your heart in your mouth at points. It was an excellent novel which was exhilarating, full of heart and passion, and very cleverly executed plot which took a seemingly mortal woman and instead made her an instrument of destiny, completely changing the world of the gods forever, at the same time as capturing the heart of a god that is not often written about. It was a joy!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review this book!

I love a good Greek mythology romance fantasy, Arrows Align definately delivered! Feeling fresh by taking things in a slightly different direction. Mixing gods, prophecies, and divine drama with modern dating and chaos made for such a fun read with sassy and loyal side characters and found family (& charming and irresistible MMC)

I absolutely flew through this. It's a fast, easy read with plenty of romance, banter, tension, and all the tropes I love. I found myself completely invested in Skye and Cullen and couldn't wait to see where things would go (and all the intertwining of the side characters, love Zeph! and Marnie the cat)

If you love Greek mythology with a modern twist, dating drama, forbidden attraction, prophecies, gods meddling in mortal lives, and a romance at the heart of the story, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a go!

Was great as a standalone but I would happily read more in this world. Thanks so much Netgalley for the e-arc and Kimberly for writing it!

I’m not a big “review” writer…and I never give out ratings…but this book and author deserves both. My friend and I had the chance to meet Ms Rison when she gave a book signing at our local bookstore. She was so kind, we decided to give her book a chance. I am SO GLAD we did! Now we need to make her a part of our friend group :)

As an English teacher, I read a lot. And the storytelling in Arrows Align was beyond top notch! She wove a story (pun intended) that not only got your imagination engaged, but also your heart. I needed to know how the characters would overcome the obstacles placed in their path.

The book had the perfect amount of fantasy, mythology, spice, and humor to give off the vibes of a well written classic. I am looking forward to continuing to live in this dimensional world for many more stories!

I thoroughly enjoyed the character building, forbidden romance, tasteful spice, and unexpectedly intense adventure that had me on the edge of my seat! Arrows Align is a beautifully written and impressive debut novel that leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store in the future!

My coworkers recommended this book to me as the author is local. I am so glad I got a copy; this was without a doubt a five-star read.

The characters are extremely well written and relatable. I just loved the interactions with all the characters. I loved the main characters, Skye and Cullen. I also loved all of the side characters, my favorite (besides Marnie - the main character's pet cat) would probably be Sara.

I was immediately sucked into the story and could not put it down. I don't want to spoil anything; all I have to say is READ IT! This is a really great read if you are looking for a well written fast-paced (but not too fast that you feel like its missing stuff) fantasy with the Greek gods that will make you feel like you are a part of the story.

The story is written like a standalone, it ties up all the points, and I am so happy with the ending. Though it does feel like the author could write more in this world, and I hope she does. I will immediately purchase it.

Arrows Align was such a blast to read! Skye and Cullen have incredible chemistry, with banter that’s sharp, flirty, and totally addictive. The world of the gods is so fun to dive into, the side characters are genuinely lovable, and the growing tension between gods and Titans adds the perfect amount of drama and stakes. An amazing debut from K.S. Rison — I’m already excited for what comes next!
