Kian
Running our family empire doesn’t leave room for distractions. Someone has to keep everything together, and that responsibility falls on me. But all it takes is one night to change everything, and suddenly the only thing capturing my attention sparkles as bright as the Las Vegas lights.

One night is all we agree on. No expectations. No strings. But life has other plans. If there’s one thing about the Savage men, it’s that when we fall…we fall hard and fast. And we always get what we want.

And I want Ace.

Ace
I never thought I’d be starting over at this point in my life, but here I am in the City of Lights, surrounded by glamor and luxury, trying to piece together what my future looks like.

When the hottest man I’ve ever laid eyes on approaches me at a club, my name tattooed across his knuckles, I know his type. Rich. Powerful. Dangerous. I probably should have said no when he asked me for one night of fun, but I moved to Las Vegas to start living my life. And what happens when I think I want to be tied to Kian Savage forever?

Especially when things get complicated…

Even an AVERAGE mafia man is a good mafia man! This one was just okay…

✨ 🖤 ✨ 🖤 ✨ 🖤 ✨

Lacey is a former overworked ballerina recovering from a devastating car accident 🚗💥 she’s trying to let loose on a dance floor when she catches the attention of a casino owner (mafia man in disguise) Daddy Kian. Kinky one-night stand turns into something more!

Who doesn’t love an obsessed Daddy who knows what he wants ☝️ but I felt like the relationship didn’t have any build up so it just stayed at the same intensity the entire time. The smut lost its appeal as there was no range!

✨ Daddy kink with lots of praise

🖤 MIRROR SEX so she can love her body

✨ OTT obsessed & nurturing mmc

I thought the writing was great but the plot was a bit lackluster. It’s predictable and less vulnerable than the previous books in the series. Easy read but not much more!

4.5 stars!

Listen, I’m not into some aspects of Daddy kink but this book? It had the Daddy kink that was hot AF.

“If you ever refer to me as your friend again, you won’t sit for a week. I don’t care if you tell people I’m your man, your boyfriend, your Daddy. Hell, tell them I’m your husband if you want. As long as I’m fucking you like you’re my everything, you’re mine. Are we clear, angel?”

Hell, this book was so good.

Loved Kian’s Book!

I love Ace so much. I loved everything about her and Kian’s story.

Ace has such a tragic backstory. So much loneliness and just unfair hands dealt to her. Then there is Kian who holds the world on his shoulders, he thinks he doesn’t have time for love, but he doesn’t stand a chance when Ace enters the picture.

Big truths are revealed about Ace’s life. But this book is pretty low angst and anxiety. Great for an anxiety reader… but make sure you love a Daddy because Kian is alllllll Daddy.

Okayyyy these Savage men are another BREED! I swear there isn’t a single one I wouldn’t bow down to. 🤭

Kian surprised me! He’s the brother who takes work too seriously. Keeps the company going when sh!t hits the fan, but the SECOND he saw Ace, all bets are off. The obsession he gets for her is unhealthy, but dang it…let’s ignore those red flags ladies.

The way this man takes care of her, goes out of his way to make her feel seen, heard, and loved was EVERYTHING. I mean…who doesn’t love a man who wants you to call him daddy and refuses to hear you put yourself down?! I for one would gladly obey 😉

This series has been such a fun time!! With only one Savage brother left, I’m sad to see the series end, but I’m also so excited to see where Kate Oliver goes next!!

Avery Caris & Anthony Palmini blew me away with the audio for this one! They took this book to the next level off me and I was sat. I listened to this one in one sitting..literally did not shut it off until the epilogue was done. When narrators can suck me in that well, they deserve all the praise!

If you love a good daddy k!nk, obsession, spice, and a man down bad for his woman, you’ll want to add this one to your tbr!

Book 3 in the Savage Sins series: Kian and Ace. This is an age gap (38/25), fast burn/instant obsession, possessive MMC, casino billionaire x mafia princess, size difference, former ballerina FMC, found family, touch her and d!e, “let me take care of you”, MMC who secretly wants love, FMC on a journey to rediscover herself, one night stand turned more, dark mafia romance.
It was meant to be a one night stand.. then turned into a “two night stand”.. to then complete obsession and devotion. I really enjoyed Kian and Ace’s story, both are great MCs. Even though the books in this series are interconnected standalones I definitely want to go back and read/listen to books 1 (Savage Revenge) and 2 (Savage Obsession) and read the brothers’ stories too.
The narration was done perfectly in complete duet style narration. A great cast and preformed so well! I definitely recommend this audiobook.

“I don’t believe in miracles, angel, but it feels like you might be one.”

♡I've been patiently waiting for Kians book & it didn't disappoint! At this point I love every Savage man & will gladly kneel for any one of them! Kian is strong with protective energy & will do anything to keep the ones he loves safe. Ace survived a very dark past & she's refuses to let anyone bring her down. Together they build each other up & are perfection together!

The duet narration for this audiobook was fantastic! Avery & Anthony both did an amazing job bringing these characters & this story to life! I can't wait to see what's next in this world becsuse I can never get enough of the Savages!♡

Kate has been a newer author to me and I’ve been loving her Savage Sins series. The way Kian and Ace’s book started had me invested in these characters right away. The one-night stand, turned into something more when Jordyn Savage got involved, proving that the connection between Ace and Kian was strong.

This was a quick read for me with the spice and chemistry between Kian and Ace. The plot twist was done perfectly and I loved the parts with the glitter and Kian.

Savage Ties was straight in there from the first chapter and I loved it, I honestly didn’t want it to end! It’s one of those books that’s super spicy and intense but still manages to have a lot of heart underneath all the heat.

Lacey (Ace) was such an easy character to connect with. She’s been through a lot and you feel so much for her and can really feel how badly she wants to break free from the pressure and expectations that have controlled her life for so long. It was great seeing her slowly grow and start wanting more for her life instead of just surviving it... with help!

And Kian… wow! This man has true pure possessive Daddy energy from the moment he walks onto the page! Protective, controlling, filthy mouthed but also surprisingly caring and attentive in a way that made me melt and want one of my own... lol. The Daddy kink in this book is definitely front and centre, so if that’s your thing, you’re going to have the best time ever (with this or any of the Savage books). Daddy Kian could honestly tell me what to do and I’d probably say thank you. Also the way this man talked to Ace had me blushing and kicking my feet the entire time to the point I fear Daddy Kian has permanently altered my brain chemistry.

Their chemistry was immediate and honestly so very addictive to read... and this is someone that used to think nooo not Daddy! Every scene between them had so much tension and heat but there were also softer moments that made their connection feel genuine and heartwarming. And when he calls her ‘my girl’ or ‘Angel’.. I melted! Gimme me!

The audiobook was just perfect. Avery Caris did such a great job bringing Ace to life emotionally, especially in the more vulnerable moments with her emotional delivery. And Anthony Palmini as Kian? Perfect casting. His voice had that deep, protective, dominant tone that fit Kian so well and made every Daddy moment cause me to melt into a puddle. Together they made the chemistry feel incredible and completely sucked me into the story. The audiobook experience was dangerous because those narrators made the tension feel WAY too real.

Definitely check the trigger warnings before going in because this story touches on emotional trauma, neglect, recovery after a major accident, and some darker emotional themes alongside the romance. That said this book balances the heavy emotional moments with a LOT of spice, but some scenes around Ace’s past and healing genuinely hit hard.
There are also themes of control, praise, possessiveness and consensual power dynamics throughout the relationship, which I thought were handled really well between Kian and Ace, and I really appreciated that underneath all the spicy moments, there was also a strong focus on care, comfort, and emotional safety between them. It’s one of those books that feels super hot one minute and then unexpectedly emotional the next.

This was spicy, emotional, addictive and ridiculously easy to binge listen too. If you love age gap romance with possessive men that love to be a Daddy in and out the bedroom.. or general Daddy kink with praise, tension and a couple that feels totally obsessed with each other in the best way, then I’d absolutely recommend this one… and the series!

How do I get this glitter off? It's everywhere!

Synopsis: The story follows Kian, who is responsible for maintaining his family's empire in Las Vegas. His strictly disciplined life is disrupted when he meets Ace, who has recently moved to the city to start her life over. Although they initially agree to a single night of fun with "no strings" and "no expectations," Kian quickly becomes obsessed with her.

I love this series! Book three centers around Kian, the often steady, serious, hard working of the four brothers. Being serious, he's buried deep in work, but allows his brother to talk him into going to a club to celebrate his birthday. At the club is where he spots Ace (AKA Lacey) dancing wildly all by herself. The connection is instant and white hot.

Ace is pulling away from her domineering mother, and is trying to rebuild her life after a tragic car accident took her ballet career. She's strong and surprisingly confident given her vulnerabilities and the trauma she is trying to heal from. She's drawn to Kian, despite the darkness and potential dangerous aura he puts off. She agrees to go home with Kian, but only if they agree to a one night, one and done, no names or personal details deal.

Of course, they are both hooked after their initial encounter, and the universe conspires to throw them together. Kian is a Savage, so of course he is obsessed from the get go. And you know the rest.

It's a good story despite being somewhat formulaic. Ms. Oliver has a way of making standard plot devices seem new, and keeps your interest with a superb mix of character and plot. The spice in this one is not as dark as in the first two. He worships Ace's body. It's soft and sensual, more erotic than carnal. I liked it! I strongly recommend this series and am looking forward to book four. Beckett's story should be a doozy!

MY THOUGHTS 💭

Ace is a girl trying to live a normal life, though her life is anything but normal. Overcoming every single trauma and her childhood and in the last year from a significant crash she just wants to be free and out of the cage she wants was in.

Kian feels like he holds a very big burden for his family because two of his brothers are married and one of his brothers is a wild card so with the weight of the family in the business is on his shoulder can he let go long enough to find his Ace in the deck of cards that have been handed to him.

I love the growth that not only the FMC has but also the MMC has I think both people are trying to come out of the shadows from behind people in their lives and I also think they're both very misunderstood in a way.

I absolutely freaking love Aces cousin Luciano, I need that man to get a book.

There were two Side characters in this book that I secretly want them to fall in love and I think because there was so much foreshadowing it's a possibility which I'm hoping for.

As far as spice in the book I feel like he is so soft and tender with her that it is mostly sensual and there's a tad bit of roughness but because he is so protective and so concerned for her health and well-being it's mostly tender we're just so romantic.

I also would say that plot is very well laid out and there is a very big mystery hidden between the lines of who did what and who's behind it all.

I loved being able to see characters from other Kate's worlds and thought it was so amazing but she included small parts of them.

As far as the biggest thing that kind of sticks out towards the FMC she has two main things that as soon as you think of her you think of those two things I related so much to her and being a person that lives with certain health issues that are similar to her I felt her pain.

I received this ALC from Blue Nose Audio and Kate Oliver and I want to thank them for it. This was my second Kate Oliver book/audiobook, and I was very impressed. This is the 3rd book in the Savage Sins series. This audiobook was performed in duet by Avery Caris and Anthony Palmini. I was blown away by how perfectly suited their voices were for these characters. I don’t think anyone else could play Ace and Rian.

This book follows Zaddy Rian, one of the Savage brothers, who is the glue that holds the Savage family together. He runs his family’s empire and doesn’t have time for distractions. BUT enter – one birthday, one “glittery-Angel” and a one-night stand… and you get the beginning of a fabulous book.

Ace, our FMC and transplant to Vegas and an ex-mafia princess and former prima ballerina whose life was turned upside down in the blink of an eye, literally, when her car did… After surviving the unimaginable, the car accident left her with physical scars to match the mental ones her family place on her. But in spite of it all, Ace is a bad a$$ and I’m think she’s my favorite of the Savage men’s obsessions.

What was supposed to be just a one-night stand, turned into my favorite Savage brother book yet… Kian and Ace are meant to be together and their chemistry from the beginning had me hooked. The spice was just the right mix of outrageous heat and sweet tender passion. The way Kian allows Ace to find the love for herself and the freedom to make her own choices is why I think I love him so much.

The new character, Luciano, has me intrigued. I need to know more about him – perhaps a spinoff??? But I’m waiting with bated breath for Beckett’s book… I have a VERY strong feeling, his friend Caleb will play a very important role 😉 Either way, these Savage men have me sat and ready and pining for my next Zaddy!

If you love any of the following, please pick up this book/audiobook:

🩰 Curvy and strong FMC
🩰 Morally gray MMC
🩰 Touch her and d!e vibes
🩰 Mafia like vibes
🩰 Daddy kink
🩰 Possessive/Spanking

ALC Review | Savage Ties - Kate Oliver✨

“Since the day I met Kian he’s made me feel wanted, seen. He makes me feel save in a way that I never thought possible.”

4.5⭐️ | 3🌶️ | 5⭐️

Not me diving into Book 3 and immediately needing to read Books 1 & 2! 😅 I absolutely loved this book. The bond between the brothers is incredible 🫂, and Ace is such a fierce character 💪, having endured so much. I also loved how the girls didn’t skip a beat—they instantly embraced Ace like family 💖.

The tension, the banter, and the spice between Kian and Ace are perfectly balanced 😍. I adore how possessive Kian is, but above all, how much he wants her to be safe, loved ❤️, and truly seen. And Ace? She’s a whole vibe—strong, smart, and sassy 💃. I love how effortlessly she fits into the Savage family, and how they embrace her as her own 🤗.

I also loved how the story had me questioning things along the way, and the process of the puzzle pieces falling together was so satisfying 🧩. Don’t know what it says about me, but I was freaking proud of Ace 🤍.

🎙 Avery Caris and Anthony Palmini brought these characters to life. I already love Avery’s narration—she always gives me all the feels and perfectly captures each character. And as always, she never disappoints and was perfect as Ace. Anthony was new to me, but he was amazing! How he made Kian’s character sound strong, dominant, but also soft when needed was perfect. Highly recommend going straight for the audio 🫶🏾.

So, if you don’t mind the Daddy kink, love fierce family loyalty, and two MCs who are better together, with vibes like:
“Whoever made you doubt your worth shouldn’t be fucking breathing right now.”
“That’s not romantic. Not romantic at all. Nope nope, but it’s so romantic.”🤭
Then this one’s for you 😘.

Thank you @kateoliver & @bluenoseaudio for this ALC opportunity in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own 🤍

If you’ve been following the Savage brothers like I have, then you already know—once you start, there’s no going back. This one absolutely did not disappoint.

I’ve been hooked since Cash, completely sold after Xander, and now it’s Kian’s turn. He brings that classic Savage energy—dominant, protective, and all about his woman. These brothers always hit the mark emotionally, and Kian’s story is no exception.

What really stood out for me in this book was the pacing. It flows so effortlessly from chapter to chapter—no awkward breaks, no missing pieces, no “wait, what just happened?” moments. Every scene builds naturally into the next, and I genuinely love that kind of continuity. It keeps you completely immersed, and I was fully invested the whole way through.

Character-wise, Kian and Ace are such a strong pairing. Kian brings that intense, alpha energy, but there’s depth there too—he’s not just powerful, he cares. And Ace? She balances him beautifully. There’s strength, vulnerability, and chemistry that just works.

Their relationship feels fast, yes, but it’s emotional and believable in that classic Savage way—when these men fall, they fall hard.

Plot-wise, it keeps that signature mix of spice, emotion, and just enough tension to keep you turning pages. You’re not just here for the romance—you’re here for the world, the family dynamics, and the way everything connects across the series.

And can we talk about what’s coming next? Because I need Beckett’s story immediately. Also… I don’t know what it is, but I have a feeling Caleb is going to play a much bigger role 👀

Safe to say—I’m still obsessed.

Savage Ties (Book 3) by Kate Oliver – Review (No Spoilers)

Kate Oliver delivers another gripping installment in the Savage series with Savage Ties (Book 3)—a story that balances intensity, emotional depth, and character growth in a way that keeps you fully invested from start to finish.

One of the standout elements of this book is Lacey. She isn’t just written as strong—she proves it in every choice she makes. Her resilience, independence, and ability to hold her ground in difficult situations make her a genuinely compelling character. She doesn’t rely on others to define her strength, and that quiet confidence elevates her presence throughout the story.

Kian, on the other hand, evolves into something more than just a typical protective figure. He becomes the kind of protector who is not only fierce but also deeply aware, intentional, and grounded. His actions show a balance of power and restraint, making his role feel earned rather than forced. Watching his growth alongside Lacey’s adds a satisfying layer to the story.

The dynamic between them is intense without feeling overdone, and the emotional tension is handled in a way that keeps you hooked without giving too much away too quickly.

And honestly, in the middle of all that, there’s a moment of pure reader excitement knowing Luciano is getting his own book. That anticipation alone adds another layer of enjoyment for anyone following the series.

Overall, Savage Ties (Book 3) is a strong continuation that leans heavily into character development while still delivering the tension and intrigue fans expect. Definitely a must-read for anyone invested in the series.

Savage Ties by Kate Oliver

Format: Audiobook
Narrators: Avery Caris and Anthony Palmini

Non-Spoiler Review
If he doesn’t dig up dead bodies for you, does he even love you?! That’s the vibe of this installment with Kian and Lacy aka his Ace. Savage Ties is book 3 in the Savage Sins series, so you should already know how SAVAGE these men are. However, Kian has a more nurturing side to him than the others.

Performed in duet by Avery Caris and Anthony Palmini, who brought the charisma, pulse and glitter to these characters. They were fun and exciting and all the best things of an audiobook.

Kian is the work-aholic brother and never wants to take time for himself. The night of his birthday however, his Savage family crew takes him to one of their clubs where he meets the alluring glitter dancer. Sparks and sexual tension hit immediately, so they both agree to a one night stand. No names. No promises. The problem is, sometimes things don’t work out quite like we plan. Kian soon becomes obsessed with his glitter girl as she slips from the hotel room and continues to fly under the radar.

Savage Ties was the perfect mix of obsession and sweetness (if that’s even possible). I adored the way Kian was still a savage but he allowed Ace to be her own person and do what she loved. He did want to keep her close but not caged. The balance of these two things were perfect and once again I was locked in. Let’s not forget the wooden spoon 😉 This entire series has been incredible and I cannot wait for the next book!

Thank you, BNA for the ALC

"One night. No strings."
Cute plan. Absolutely doomed from the start.

Kian and Ace were the perfect match. What starts as one night quickly turns into something much deeper, and watching these two fall, hard and fast, was exactly the kind of chaos I signed up for.

Kian is obsessed, possessive, and pure Savage man energy… and Ace balances him beautifully with her strength and vulnerability.

And can we talk about that revenge plan? Top notch. Easily one of my favorite parts of the story. It added just the right amount of tension and made the payoff even more satisfying.

Now… the daddy kink? Didn’t bother me, but it definitely felt turned up a notch in this one. And yes, we all love an obsessed MMC, but Kian’s level of physical obsession was occasionally a bit much even for me. Sir, collect yourself.

That said, their chemistry was undeniable, and I genuinely enjoyed their story.

The audiobook was even better.

Avery Caris brought so much warmth and emotion to Ace. Her performance felt natural, heartfelt, and made Ace incredibly easy to connect with.

Anthony Palmini absolutely delivered as Kian. His voice had the perfect mix of confidence, intensity, and that possessive edge Kian needed. He made the emotional moments hit harder and the spicy scenes land exactly as they should.

Together, they gave this story extra life and made the listening experience even more addictive.

And after that ending? I have a feeling Beckett’s story is going to be an absolute emotional roller coaster… and frankly, I’m already seated for the chaos. 🎢🫠

Loved this third installment of the Savage Brother series! Ace was so sweet but so strong, she's been through hell and back but still is kind to everyone and I loved seeing her take her life back. Kain is broody and possessive but his flags are pink at most.

Lacy (Ace) has finally broken away from her controlling mother while still healing from a super traumatic/ballet career ending car accident to start fresh in Vegas. Little does she know that one trip to a club, alone, put her on the radar of Birthday Boy Kian Savage. Kian was there after his brothers dragged him out to celebrate is 38th birthday. Kian and Ace agree to one night: no strings, no names, and no numbers. But when she slips out of the hotel room in the morning he knows he's not able to accept one night. She is his future. What follows is a steamy, sweet and surprisingly emotional journey of two people who can't help but be together forever.

I really enjoy all of Kate's books and have a special soft spot for the Savage Brothers. They have been through a lot and deserve their happy ending. Ace was such a great female character. Strong and independent but soft and sweet at the same time. Kian was bossy, protective and kind of jackass to her cousin but he's a man that, when he sets his mind on something, nothing can hold him back. It was also fun to see some familiar faces!

I would absolutely recommend this, but please check her trigger warnings, "Daddy" is not just for the bedroom in this book but it is not a full DD/lg story.

Savage Ties by Kate Oliver had me hooked from the start. I was so ready to be back with the Savage brothers, and I just knew Kian was going to deliver. And he absolutely did. The protective, slightly unhinged daddy vibes? Elite. Kian steps right into that role and makes it impossible not to swoon.

Ace was such a standout for me. She’s sweet, but there is a quiet bravery in her that makes her the perfect match for someone like Kian. Watching them come together felt natural and satisfying, especially with how fiercely protective he is of her.

I also loved the added layer of Ace’s background. Finding out she’s a mafia princess brought in a whole new level of tension and intrigue, and it kept me on my toes in the best way. Another big, powerful family entering the mix? Yes please.

This book had the perfect balance of swoon and humor. I was kicking my feet one minute and laughing the next. That cemetery scene with all the brothers? I was genuinely cracking up. And as someone who has read Kate Oliver’s books, I loved all the little mentions of past characters. Seeing Knox and Addie pop up again just made it feel like such a full, connected world.

Also, I need to talk about Luciano Rucci because I am already counting down the days until his story.

Another absolute win in the Savage series.

Back with the Savage Brothers, Chaos, Obsession & Audio to Match

I did one of my favorite things with this story, an immersive read thanks to Blue Nose Audio!

Avery Caris and Anthony Palmini brought Ace and Kian to life in a way that made it easy to stay fully pulled in. The chemistry between them came through clearly in the audio, and Anthony especially stood out with how many different character voices he handled. There were a couple moments where Kian and Lorenzo blended a bit and I had to rewind to catch who was speaking, but overall the narration kept me locked in.

As for the story itself, I loved it. That ending twist? I did not see it coming at all.

Ace was such a standout for me. Watching her grow into herself and becoming who she wanted to be is one of my favorite FMC qualities. Being back with the Savage brothers reminded me why I am so into this series. The banter between the brothers and the wives is always a highlight for me, and of course an MMC that is unhinged and obsessive is just the cherry on top.

Another solid book in the Savage Sins series. I am excited but also feeling a little bittersweet about Beckett’s story being next since it means the end of the Savage Sins series, but knowing Luciano is getting a book in August kicking off the Italian Syndicate Kings series definitely softens that a bit.

Savage Ties is Kian’s story in the Savage Sins series, and it delivers a strong mix of romance, family loyalty, and suspense.

Kian lost his mother to cancer and later his father to assassination, but he grew up surrounded by love and support from his family. That responsibility shaped him into the serious, dependable one who always holds everything together.

Ace (Lacey), on the other hand, grew up privileged but emotionally neglected. After losing her father young and surviving a devastating accident that ended her dance career, she moves to Las Vegas determined to finally live life on her own terms.

When this “tiny, glittery sprite of a woman,” as Kian calls her, enters his life, he isn’t looking for love—but Ace slowly finds her way into his world.

The one thing she hasn’t told him is that she comes from an Italian mafia family. When Kian later discovers Ace’s accident may not have been an accident at all, he joins forces with her cousin Luciano to uncover the truth and protect her.

A beautiful mix of romance, loyalty, and danger.

“Love isn't about who stands by your side only when you're up. It's about who doesn't flinch when you're not.”

Thank you to Kate Oliver for the ARC—another fantastic addition to the series!

Savage ties was everything I was hoping it would be and more!! I loved this one, and honestly, I devoured all three books in this series so quickly. I loved Kians book so much it moved at a really good pace, and the spice was SO hot. I love these walking red flag men, honestly. I love all the interactions between the brothers, and this book had some many good moments that had me cackling. Glitter, anyone? The banter is just next level. There were quite a few side characters in this one that has me excited for future books.

Kian, our MMC, such a hot broody man, he was so perfect, and I loved his possessiveness with Ace, he was also tender with her too and I loved seeing this side of him. I loved his reluctant bromance with a certain character, and I hope to see more of it in that characters possible book. It was so good and just made me grin so much.

Ace, our FMC, has had a rough go of it, but she's such a strong character, and I loved her for it. I loved her tenderness with Kian and how they fit so well together. It was really lovely to read her getting the hea she needed.

I really needed this series this week, it fed my bookish soul, and I can't wait for future books!!

The book was just okay for me. I really liked the concept of the two main characters, but together they felt a little too cringy at times. I’m all for a protective, caring, loving MMC, but his reactions felt way over the top — especially when the FMC interacted with his brothers or even her own cousin. Jealousy toward random men is one thing, but toward family felt strange and excessive.

What made it harder for me is that I actually enjoyed this dynamic in the other books. I loved how annoyed Cash would get when Beckett called Jordyn “bombshell” because it felt playful and believable. But in this book, Lacey simply asking how Beckett was doing after he’d been shot causing the MMC to completely lose it just felt like too much. Instead of coming across as protective, it started to feel irrational and overdone at that point.

I also wasn’t a fan of the constant “daddy” nickname. In a few certain moments it worked, but using it all the time only made the age gap feel more pronounced than it actually was and honestly gave me the ick. Personally, I find it much more intimate when partners use each other’s actual names — it feels more grounded in love, respect, and genuine connection than relying on a nickname nonstop.

Savage Ties by Kate Oliver is book three in the Savage Sins series, and it dives into Kian Savage’s story. What starts as Kian being dragged into celebrating his birthday quickly turns into something much more when he meets a glitter-covered beauty who completely steals his attention.

Ace is still trying to recover mentally and physically from an accident that changed the course of her life a year earlier. The chemistry between Ace and Kian was impossible to ignore, even while both characters battled the inner demons they carried with them.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and anyone with a daddy kink will absolutely eat this one up — especially readers who love a bratty FMC dynamic. The tension, possessiveness, and emotional push-and-pull made this such an entertaining listen.

The audiobook narration was solid overall, and I’d give the narration 4 stars. The male narrator had the perfect gruff tone to match Kian’s rough-around-the-edges personality, while the female narrator brought Ace to life with a sweet yet confident performance that fit her character well.

Overall, I’d give this book 4 stars. While it hasn’t been my favorite in the series so far, I still really enjoyed learning more about Kian and getting to know Ace and her family better.

Savage Ties is the third book in the Savage Sins series. While it can technically be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the first two books first to fully appreciate the connections and characters.

After a car accident changes her life forever, Lacey decides it’s time for a fresh start. She leaves Seattle behind and heads to Vegas hoping to rebuild her life. One night at a club, she meets Kian and the two agree to a simple arrangement: one night, no names, no strings attached. But fate has other plans, and they soon realize their lives are far more connected than they expected.

Lacey and Kian are straight fire together. Their chemistry is intense from the very beginning, and the tension between them kept me completely hooked. I also loved the found family aspect of this series. It adds so much heart to the story alongside all the danger and drama.

If you love mafia romance with explosive chemistry, emotional tension, and a hero who will burn the world down for his girl, you definitely need this one on your TBR!
