Oohhh.. A story full of Christmas magic. Mrs. Claus. Elves. And Reindeer.

Dasher's family is known by all. He just wants to get away froom it all. Holly is minding her own business, just wanting to make it through her day. These two crash into each other and it's all over from there.

I cant wait to see where the author takes this. Dasher's story was cute, sweet and spicy. A perfect, quick holiday read.

This is such a cute romantic Christmas novella. Ryatt Dasher is a reindeer prince, but something is missing. So he escapes from Sugarplum Hollow. When in New York he sees Holly Winters. And what he has been missing is suddenly clear. But he doesn't want to scare her, with his being a reindeer shifter prince and all.

He slowly gains her trust and love in the madness of New York City at Christmas.

I really loved Ryatt and Holly. I liked how even though there was an instant attraction, Ryatt took his time with Holly. This book was so cute and a great read for the holiday season!

This was such a charming and unique Christmas romance! I loved the premise of Ryatt, a reindeer shifter, trying to outrun his destiny in NYC until he literally bumps into Holly—a Macy’s elf who lives and breathes the holiday spirit.

One of my favorite parts was the plus-size representation; Ryatt makes Holly feel so incredibly loved and seen. Also, the spice? Delicious, literally!

Before you even finish the prologue, the blurb and the introduction you are IMMEDIATELY taken to the magical world that is the adult side of the North Pole and the shifter men who are Santa’s Reindeer. 😉 and that is just the start of the book! The whole book is a magical, romantic and spicy journey in the form of a swoony, fated mated, shifter romance. The world of Sugarplum Hollow that Liza creates makes you wish it was a real place. I wished the book was longer because I wanted more of Ryatt and Holly’s story. I couldn’t get enough of it! ☺️ I hope this series has book for each of the Nine.

Oh my goodness! This was just the perfect little read right before Christmas. Hallmark vibes, fated mates, meddling, and spice...say no more. This was just the cutest read. I love fated mates, and shifter romances, but this was my first time reading one about a reindeer shifter. Holly was just so likeable. She is so quirky, and her love for everything Christmas is adorable. Ryatt Dasher, as in Dasher the Reindeer, is so swoon-worthy! Their romance story was absolutely adorable and so ridiculously heartwarming. The spice was definitely spicing. Overall, this was a great read. I can't wait to read more.

⭐️4. I absolutely love the premise of this book! it felt exactly like a Christmas romcom, with a good spicey scene right in the middle. I will say, I wanted more from Sugarplum Hollow in itself. I wanted more information on what the town was like, what the reindeer shifters were like, how many people in that town were shifters/elves. It just felt a little rushed at the end. but honestly it was the night before Christmas, so of course it was rushed.

Super cute short holiday novella about a Reindeer shifter and his fated mate. Although I am personally not a fan of the holiday, Holly is definitely a big fan. It goes to reason that Ryatt would fall for her.

What a cute and quick Christmas read! Holly and Ryatt are both so sweet and affectionate. Seeing him rush to take care of her at any point in time is so refreshing. I have been reading Liza Bee’s books and this one has become another favorite of mine! Thanks to her writing style, I have been reading more shifter romance novels and I have been a sucker for every book that she writes! This is the first book of a new series she is writing that is located in Sugarplum Hollow. I did not know that I would love to read about reindeer shifters but I am such a huge fan of her writing and how well-developed each story she writes. And this one is no different than her previous books! It is full of spice, romance, and Christmas spirit!

This is the story of Holly, who works at a department store and is in charge of Christmas decorations and the set up for Santa Claus to sit and take pictures with kids. She is busy trying to get to work on time when she ends up almost getting hit by a cab. However, she is rescued by a dashing man that she has never seen before, who is so handsome and breathtaking. She feels like they are the only two people in the world until she remembers that she’s running late and leaves quickly.

Ryatt has no reason why he is in New York City, other than the fact that something or someone is calling to him. He is walking around when out of nowhere he sees this gorgeous woman who is about to get hit by a cab and quickly saves her. The moment he lays eyes on her, he just knows…. This is his mate! The way Liza has the ability to make you feel like you are Ryatt or Holly is phenomenal! Liza has a true talent of writing in such a way that you feel what those two are feeling 😍 I loved the way that these two are meant for each other and just know in their hearts that they belong together ❤️ The way she uses descriptive writing to demonstrate what Sugarplum Hollow looks like is out of this world!! I wish i can also visit Sugarplum Hollow and meet Mrs. Claus!

I loved getting completely sucked into Sugarplum Hollow and meeting Holly and Ryatt (aka Dasher). 😍

We first meet Ryatt, as he escapes to New York, trying to avoid taking up the Dasher mantle, and runs directly into Holly. One of my favorite parts was how the reindeer names are generationally passed down through families to form the Circle of Nine—Santa’s elite shifter flight team. It was such a cool bit of world-building.

Ryatt and Holly’s instinctual pull towards one another (paired with his immediate adoration and protectiveness) was so, so sweet—and definitely sparks some delicious tension between them. A few moments had me lit up like a Christmas tree!

This is a shorter read, but I loved that it never once felt like insta-love. We get a proper meet-cute, courting, banter, and dating that develops quickly but feels more like a whirlwind Hallmark romance…with a dash of VERY hot moments.

The story ends perfectly, full of shimmering and swirling magic, plus a little sneaky peek of the next book (Dancer’s story! 👀). Absolutely recommend this one if you’re craving a light, spicy holiday read for a cozy afternoon!

For a spicy, short, and sweet Christmas novella, this story is a good one to close out the year.

Holly is working retail during the holiday season, wants to be a writer, and just so happens to accidentally meet her fated mate (unknown to her) while walking to work on day when he saves her from the unsuspecting dangers of the big city. What a beginning! Add in that Holly is a curvy girl with some self doubt AND there’s some shiftering romance involved, you have a whirlwind of a romance that I’m 100% here for! And Ryatt, the MMC, gosh - he’s swoon worthy with his little one liners that seem too good to be true, but is the real deal for his Holly Berry.

The overall vibes of the book remind me of the Santa Claus 2 where Carol had an intense love of Christmas and then was reminded about the magic of the holidays. If that vibe fits for you, then I strongly encourage you to read this book.

This is the first standalone (I think?) in a series about the reindeer shifters, and the next book is blurbed in this one, and I’m excited for the whole series to follow.

The town…. The town is called Sugarplum Hollow!!! I CANT!!!

Holly is a lover of all things Hallmark Christmas! She even writes them but she has always found it hard to believe the typical meet cutes… until she lives one! She literally runs into a random gorgeous man on the street and spills hot cocoa all over herself… brushing it off as just another day of her miserable life she is completely taken aback when that gorgeous man follows her to work and then asks her out!

Dasher ( yes I said DASHER!! ) is looking to escape… he is looking for something but he doesn’t know what it is… he just knows nothing fills the hole in his life… that is until a curvy auburn haired beauty runs into him on the street spilling hot cocoa all over self and everything in him screams to claim her!! This little meet cute just land his mate in his lap and he will stop at nothing to claim her!

I absolutely loved this book! It was super short, fun, and spicy!!! I loved that our FMC is a curvy girl who has been told so many times that she isn’t beautiful that she believes it and then Dasher comes in and shows her just how amazing she is!

I can’t wait for book 2!!!!

Reindeer shifter romances are not something I usually pick up, but I decided to give this one a try since it’s set around Christmas. It turned out to be a different kind of holiday read than I’m used to.

The story follows Ryatt, who comes from the famous Dasher line, and Holly, a young woman working at Macy’s during the busy holiday season. Their meeting happens quickly, and the book focuses on how their relationship grows while Ryatt struggles with his unusual background and the expectations placed on him.

I found Holly to be a kind and down-to-earth character, while Ryatt is caught between tradition and his own choices. The romance moves fast, and the tension comes from Ryatt needing to share the truth about who he really is.

The Christmas setting adds plenty of festive touches snow, decorations, and magical elements tied to the reindeer lore.

It was a different experience, loved the festive touches.

This was such a great novella! I am honestly impressed with the amount of storyline that the author was able to get into a shorter story, I didn't feel like anything was rushed, and we got a decent amount of detail into Sugarplum Hollow and the reindeer shifters, again for a short story, more than I expected, which made the story that much better!!

FMC Holly Winters (the name!) is just a hot mess at Christmas time, nearly dies in New York traffic when MMC Ryatt Dasher swoops in and quite literally saves her life. Ryatt is immediately drawn to Holly, and follows her into her department store job, where they are setting up to do picture with Santa. Ryatt steps in again and not only magically fixes the display, but also defends Holly to her manager. Holly is just in disbelief that this gorgeous man has now followed her, and is in complete shock when he actually asks her out. Ryatt has his eyes set on Holly, and nothing will keep him from her.

This is such a cozy, and spicy, holiday romance. I enjoyed that Ryatt is completely head over heels for Holly, something she is having a hard time accepting, but her walls start to come down with him. When they arrive in Sugarplum Hollow, it sounds like a dreamy Christmas town! Anyone would be in a bit of disbelief, as Holly is, especially their mode of transportation to get there! Holly learns a lot about Ryatt, and herself, once they arrive, and it is all so magical. Again, even being a short story, I thought the events in Sugarplum Hollow are written with so much detail, I could picture all of the magic as it happened.

I look forward to reading the next book in this series and see what other magic is in store in Sugarplum Hollow!

i love me a shifter romance but a reindeer one? i have never read that kind of shifter romance before and i am in love with that idea! especially for christmas time. this book just felt like a fairytale and just magical in general.

it is a very quick read too which was a great and much needed change of pace for me as of recently.

one thing about this this author, liza bee is that she does such an amazing job and will always leave you wishing that you could live in the books she writes its so hard to not fall in love with her characts and especially ryatt and holly in this one. so liza if you can grant me a christmas wish of transporting into the beautiful town that is sugarplum hollow i would really appreciate it😅.

This is a reindeer shifter romance so my expectations weren’t very high going in. I’m not even sure what possessed me to pick this up other than one TikTok video that made it sound like a good time. It actually started off super cute and had potential as a cute little Christmas fairytale but then it went waaaayyy downhill. The storyline ended up being… not great. The spelling and grammatical errors on top of that made it nearly unreadable. I feel like running this through grammarly (or, hell, even utilizing a simple spell check in Word) would have improved the reading experience. I desperately wanted to DNF but I’m incapable of doing that so I will admit I skimmed the last 15% or so just to get through it.

I hope you are well!
The Christmas holidays are slowly ending but the books are holding up well. I have been writing this review for days but due to the flu, plans were changed.
What can I say about this book? It was the perfect Christmas atmosphere and spirit. It had all the magic of Christmas and the characters were fantastic. And the spice was super wow.
Once again, the author introduces us to her story and with her warm, tender, romantic and touching writing, she transports us to her characters, thinking that we are also part of the whole story.
It is worth reading a thousand times!

This book is the perfect little Holiday novella to wrap up my holiday reading.The chemistry between Ryatt and Holly is instant; some might even call it fate. Ryatt is every girl’s dream man: he has a great sense of humor, makes Holly feel beautiful even when she doesn’t see it herself, and he’s even willing to let her bring her cat to Sugarplum Hollow. This book gives strong Hallmark vibes with a delightful dash of shape-shifting reindeer. The random pages from Mrs. Claus was the perfect touch and added so much charm to the story. Sugarplum Hollow is exactly the kind of magical place I’d want to visit during the Christmas season. I also got to read a couple of pages about Caspian, and I’m really hoping that means there’s another book coming. I'd love to spend more time in this world.

ARC REVIEW ♥️ — This book is definitely far from my norm, but I needed a change of pace for the season and this was it! Now I’m definitely in a rom-com type of mood. Holly is such a relatable character, trying to survive the holidays… right down to her insecurities and sweet tooth. A girl just hoping for and manifesting a happily ever after. I TOTALLY GET IT. Ryatt running away from his destiny, only to meet the love of his life. Even when he has to face his fate, he doesn’t run away FROM HER. He doesn’t let her go, he brings her into his world. I adore this book. A quick Christmas read that is like a Hallmark movie with spice. My first reindeer shifter read too. Ryatt is a reindeer and one of the nine reindeer from the North Pole. He is left to Manhattan for a change.

Holly works at Macy's and is sweet and hardworking even if doesn't have the best self esteem.

When Ryatt sees her, he is immediately drawn to her and does what he can to get dates with her.

The chemistry between them is undeniable and I just love how Ryatt supports her and shows he adores who she is. He is afraid of how she will react to who he really is.

Need to read this to find out what happens. I cannot wait for more books in this series!

This book was charming. I am not going to hype it as a literary masterpiece but it was fun, lighthearted, and made me laugh. The FMC is a plus-sized Christmas loving elf working at Macy's in NYC. The MMC is a reindeer shifter. That was a new one for me but it worked.

I enjoyed how the narrator spoke to the reader like an old school fairytale. I also thought the unique way Christmas was explained was fun - I like when there is a creative take on Christmas especially as an adult.

If you enjoy holiday romances, want a short but sweet and fun read, then I would recommend this book and say enjoy the ride.

Ryatt Dasher dreams of becoming mated and not fated to pull a sleigh. He just wants to get away from it all for a while ,when he bumps into a stranger with a beautiful smile . Holly is jolly as Santa himself ,she could even be an elf or Mrs Claus she beautiful and all in those wet clothes . Instant attraction has him dancing ( couldn’t resist)and prancing and feeling all giddy. Holly Winters has him all giddy . But how can this be ,they only just met but perhaps they’re meant to be …Reindeer shifter ,oh my does that mean he’ll get his hooves and fly for the Jolly guy ? She lives for Christmas. She's even working on her own Hallmark movie type screenplay. He's tired of it all and is ready to give it up. Yet somehow, Ryatt and Daisy are perfect for each other.

I devoured this story. The underlying premise of this story was clever. It was just plain fun and the pick me up I needed to relieve some holiday stress. I read it straight through because I didn't want to put it down. I can't wait to read the next Magical Reindeer Shifter romance.

I loved this short read, such a cosy shifter Christmassy read, get a hot chocolate and a cosy blanket and settle down with this book.
It will make you smile with the cute names and laugh out with the banter. Book 1 was great cannot wait to see the next one 😀
