Angela Atienza is a cross-genre Filipino-American author, ghostwriter, and illustrator who writes from quiet spaces, where emotions simmer, relationships get wonderfully messy, and truths tend to arrive fashionably late. certainly one of the best among its peers-- the premise was unique, the writing style was a cut above the rest, the characterization solid-- but I think a few parts were a bit rushed, and some minor storytelling details were kinda unsturdy, again giving me a "rushed" feeling.
