Just because i love reading this series.
Because i love this close-knit family,and the world would be a much better place if people were a bit more like them.
Not that they don’t make mistakes. They do. But they admit to them. And try to do better.
Maybe it’s the kink that helps them to see things clearer?
But they always leave me with a smile on my face,and a warm glow filling my heart.
And eager to return!
The world of Daddy P.I. Is a special one,and i love being there.
So,when E.J. Frost offered me The Daddy P.I. Casefiles Second Collection,i couldn’t wait to go back to that wonderful place with it’s loving Daddies and their sweet Littles.
Because i really enjoy being there,to hear everyone’s stories,each and every time.
And not only does this Collection include 3 of the most wonderful stories in the series,it also has 2 beautiful short stories about Oppa Max and his Bumble baby Cynnie.
It gives a quick,but loving peek into where they are now.
And it’s a very,very,very good place,i can tell you!!
One of the things that makes this series so wonderful,you get to see everyone throughout.
You get to see how they’re all doing,what’s happening áfter their hea.
And after Max’s Bumble,Missing Ink,Daddy P.I. 3.0 and those 2 sweet little gems,i have that happy smile that EJ Frost leaves me with after each story is finished.
That warm feeling,that full heart,and a longing to live in that beautiful world……
Even when evil touches their world,they stand strong,together.
And when some of them fall through the cracks,get caught by that evil,they’ll do everything they can to support them through the traumas,and problems, it causes.
When others get lost because of broken hearts,acting out in unacceptable ways,they do their best to find them the help they need.
This family is the best example of how you should be there for your loved ones,not just in the good times,but in the bad too….they’re a true inspiration of how to treat others.
And i’m forever grateful to E.J. Frost for introducing me to them!!
Max’s Bumble
Seeing what Logan had with his little Emily made Max want the same.
A little to cherish,to spoil and ,if necessary, punish.
But could he be a good Daddy to the little he was looking for?
And would he find the little girl he was looking for?
Going to playgroup with Logan and Emily on Sunday sounded like a good start.
He didn’t expect to find her on the first time,but there she was. Cynnie.
From the moment he saw her,he knew….she was his little girl.
Cynnie loved playgroup,it was her time,her opportunity to be who she was.
Meeting Max was a treat,and she enjoyed playing with him.
Could he be the Daddy she’d been looking for?
No,not Daddy….because the ones she’d “been with” before weren’t Daddies,not really…….but could he be her Oppa even if he was new at being one?
He saw the little girl she was,being with him was easy,and she felt safe with him.
Max knew he needed help at finding his way to become the Oppa his Bumble baby deserved.
And he was wise enough to ask for it with not only Logan,but other Daddies,too. Sure,he made mistakes,but he made up for them.
And his Bumble baby thrived in his care,even if she struggled at home.
But he’d do his best to make her see the beautiful girl she was,to give her everything she deserved,and more.
If only there wasn’t trouble on the horizon…..
Not only from his own past,but from Logan’s too.
How to deal with it,to make sure his “brother” got what he deserved?
And to make sure his “family” was safe from the threats his own past made?
Even with everything he had going on,Max took his time to connect to Cynnie.
To build their bond,by talking,or playing,even by using the app he’d made especially for her.
And Cynnie supported him whenever he needed it,however he needed it.
These two were so beautiful together,and i love them both dearly.
Missing Ink
Brenna feels lost,playing at the club doesn’t give her what she needs anymore.
And the Doms she plays with don’t seem to care enough to see they’re not giving it.
Talking about it with Emmy helps her understand why,but what to do about it?
How to find someone that makes an effort,someone that likes her for who she is,and wants more?
Until she meets Mac at Logan’s,and they start talking....
When Mac asks her to do something about his ugly mermaid tattoo,she finds there’s something about him that draws her in,but what?
Mac is drifting after leaving the Navy,feeling lost as to what to do with the rest of his life.
When Logan offers him to live with him and Emmy,he reluctantly accepts.....for a while.
Just until he figures out a way to get his daughter Naomi back on her feet....and away from the bad influence her mother has on her.
Meeting Brenna,and seeing the sadness surrounding her,he finds himself wanting to do something about that.
And once he starts,he knows there is so much more to this girl than she shows the world.
Before long,he also knows she needs someone to have her back,someone in her corner,one that will stay....
When trouble starts at Missing Ink,Brenna’s tattoo parlor,she finds she has friends that want to help.
And Mac is one of them,not only that,he’s making it clear he wants more.
He wants something......permanent.
Sharing their history helps the trust that’s already there grow even stronger.
But there are still problems to overcome.....
He ís older,he dóes have a past that haunts him.
She is an independent girl,one that relies only on herself because of bad experiences.
But they dó have chemistry,from the start. Is that enough to build a future? Together?
This story focussed mostly on how the relationship grows,just like Emmy’s and Logan’s did.
And it was done with the same tender care.
Showing how they deal with their past,and what they do in the present to have a future to look forward to.
What i also loved,was catching up with Emmy and Logan,seeing them as an integral part of the story.
In short,it was a story i still enjoyed very much!
Daddy P.I. 3.0
Daddy Logan and his little Emmy are my favorite couple,and i love hearing what they’re up to.
I knew they were solid,their dynamic firmly in place,and eagerly waiting for Logan’s newborn babygirl Olivia to arrive.
And yes,Logan may have been a little worried about how Emmy felt,but deep down,he knew he had no reason to.
He did,however have good reason to worry about the birthmother,Miranda….that evil witch wasn’t planning on giving up little Livvy without fighting dirty.
But she was in for a bad surprise,because Emmy was channeling her white baby dragon,and you should hear her roar!
Then there was an elusive little thief stirring up trouble in Blunt’s sister club,Sacrum.
Giving him and Mac a headache during their hunt,as well as after catching the culprit…..
And if that wasn’t enough,subs were quiting at Blunts because they didn’t feel safe there!
The cause was making me sick,but knowing Logan was on the case made me feel a little better.
Because if anyone could do something about that,it was him.
But would he be in time to save Fleur when she went missing?
Batman Daddy Logan would do his best,of that his sweet little love was convinced.
This may be the last time the focus was on Logan and Emmy,but knowing where they are now,how happy they are?
It feels só good….having been to that special party was the most wonderful conclusion,and i loved it!
And there’s other people of this growing family i am véry curious to hear more of! First of all Fleur naturally,but also Cappa,Myles and Ten….Theo,Javier,Maude and Georgie…Sutter and Saoirse….and True,will i get to see more of her,too?
And what about the growing Littles’ Army?
What misschief will they get up to next?
Needless to say,i can’t wait to find out every little detail,of everyone!

Will Queen bee Cynnie and her hive of Littles manage to win the hunt through the maze?
Or will Santa Oppa and his team find and capture them, and make them surrender?

In Katonah,at a retreat called Bumblebee Lodge,Max and Cynnie,originally had planned to elope.
But when word spread through out the playgroup,things changed….
Now,Miss Ginger was officiating the ceremony at the lodge in the presence of their family of friends.
And it turned out to be the most beautiful event they could have imagined,with everyone they loved cheering them on.
Because i love this close-knit family,and the world would be a much better place if people were a bit more like them.
