I enjoyed the overall concept of Kyle: BWWM, Arranged Marriage, Billionaire Romance, but I’ve noticed a shift in the author’s recent works. The last four or five books feel as though someone else is finishing them, and the depth that once drew me in seems missing.
There were some noticeable inconsistencies—Kyle’s eyes were described as a brilliant blue around page 890, yet later (page 1000+) they were green, even inspiring a room design. Small details like this can pull readers out of the story.
The romance also felt rushed. These characters had families intertwined for years and didn’t like each other, yet after two weeks together, they were suddenly in love. It would have been more compelling to explore whether they were more aware of each other than they admitted.
Additionally, her brother’s struggles with his sexuality were significant, but his happiness by the end wasn’t clear. The family’s homophobia was never explained either—why it existed or why it was tolerated—which left a gap in understanding their dynamics.
Overall, the book had potential and enjoyable moments, but I wish the recent stories had the same depth and consistency as earlier works.

Absolutely loved
This is a enjoyable story that has amazing characters that's so captivating with a relationship that's entertaining with lots of drama. The chemistry between this couple is sizzling with so much passion. This is the kind of story that has you cheering for the couple as they come together for a forever kind of love.There's some emotional parts which will also keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will their parents make happen. All of the drama will keep the pages turning.I'm looking forward to the another story from this author her stories are amazing. Because of the experience it so far enjoyable but I have enjoyed all of her stories and I really enjoyed this one it's so exciting. That even the jealous ex is a great character it all adds up to a pleasurable experience.The story is full of discovery and some saddest which make it into a great story. Once again I am a fan of Katie Dowe . I love that it has a strong and brave independent woman and a man who is handsome and deeply in love but he ignores all other women and of course I enjoyed their witty banter it's biting but funny. The interesting twists are so amazing it will grabs you from the beginning. I wish it had a cliffhanger wow I can't believe I want one but the reason is for it to have another part to the this couple's story though it's exciting on it own especially at the end. It's captivating and I'm happy that its delightful. Every moment of this couple's relationship is beautiful even when they dislike each other It was hard to put my reader down until I finished the story if you are like myself you will find so much about this to be great and it's definitely a excellent romance!!. This is the kind of story that has you cheering for the couple though out their relationship. I highly recommend this story as well as the series.

A very thin line between love and hate!
This is a decided change from the usual Members from Money stories. Well there are two stories that are similar. One is Jeremy and Deidre's story where the parents got involved and the second involved the attempted murder by a spurned lover that had Mikhail and Deandre written all over it. Kyle and Ingrid's situation had a dynamic of having the two wealthy patriarchs in the family of different ethnic persuasions who have forged a friendship for over three decades ruling their respective families with iron fists. That iron fist rule put Kyle and Ingrid two people who couldn't stand each other together and it turned out to be the match made in love bliss. I loved Kyle and Ingrid's story very much. Watching them try to avoid falling in love with each other was well worth the read. Another great story Katie, thank you.

A little different
This story was a little different from the storyline that is so prevalent in many of this author's books. The main female character was not poor, timid, or in need of being rescued. She was not insecure about being plus size. She wore her hair natural, and she was taller than the women that are normally in these books. Even though five feet seven inches is not tall in my opinion, it is different from the five-one and five-two normally seen here. The story line is one I've read plenty; however, there were differences in this book. I am giving it a 3.5 stars.

Kyle
I enjoyed reading the love\hate relationship between Kyle and Ingrid. It began from an arranged marriage and developed into true love. This book contains intrigue, drama, murder attempt, hope, stubbornness, persistence, determination, faith, and allowing love to prevail. I will be recommending this novel to everyone I know!!!

Sassy and sweet read
A modern day twist on a familiar theme brings about a very sassy and sweet creation. Ingrid and Kyle's story could definitely have gone on longer but I'm so glad that it ended with a happy note that was more than just a HEA. It's a HEA with something left to give but the ending was also a completion.

Katie brought us another great story of two enemies finding true love unexpectedly
Being forced into an arranged marriage was not something they wanted but were forced to accept to appease their grandfathers
It was a rough start but ended beautifully with some drama in between
I highly recommend this book

Enjoyed the story line - not the same that she had been writing forever! Pickup at bar - sleep with person first time meet and and lady gets pregnant. That story is SO VERY OLD FROM HER!!! Glad to read a new story!

This is a great read, with funny 🤣 and sad 😔 parts.
