The little book of dogecore lore - A collection of short stories by dominic from dogecore, including previously unreleased work. I hope you like it.
‘Have You Ever Cried So Hard You Wrote a Book?’ is a collection of short stories from Dominic Jackson - Tales about trying to find meaning in a world of chaos, stories of longing and losing things you've never had whilst living a life you didn't choose to belong to in the first place. Daydreams from a mind that's losing its grip on how to define reality as a concept in an ever shifting digital landscape.
Quote about the book from artist - 'Jim'll Paint It' - “Dominic’s stories hold a carnival mirror to the horrors of our own precarious existence as desperate characters navigate a nightmarish world where NFTs and goblins exist but no one is quite sure if dogs ever did. The results are very funny.“

i think dominic jackson has a lot of potential, and i will likely read future books.
however, this one let me down. the title made me believe i was in for an existential, bizarre journey that would make me feel, but the book itself is full of repetitive scenes, a singular tone, and poor edits. there are frequently exact sentences repeated in the book. it's funny, but repetitive (when you want less) and rushed (when you want more).
some of the premises of the short stories are amazing, and i hope dominic expands on these ideas in his future works. :-)
