Julia and Corey Chambers are delighted with their new home, actually an old house, not as old as some in St. Augustine—the oldest European settlement in the New World—but an 1800s home filled with character.
And, as they are to discover, bodies!
But there’s something far worse. Julia has called Adam Harrison, the Krewe founder, who happened to be an old friend of her father’s.
She’s been getting threats. She’s playing a witch in a local theater production and, apparently, someone seems to think she’s a real witch!
In a city renowned for its history and ghosts, someone is threatening a witch!
When Angela and Jackson arrive, they discover that Julia had stepped out of the house—and disappeared! And while it hasn’t been more than a few hours since her disappearance, Corey is frantic and devastated.
Because he knows . . .
There are just hours ahead for them to find her before an All-American Witch might meet with a deadly and horrible fate. And it might just take a wee bit of help from one of the city’s fabled ghosts to help them on their mission.
