In the summer of 2025, an off-duty U.S. Navy officer and his British girlfriend stumble upon a UFO in the act of creating a crop circle in a remote field in the Wiltshire countryside.

But the strange patterns are more than just symbols – they are a message.

What begins as a chance encounter quickly spirals into a revelation that will upend everything they thought they knew – as they come to realise that their mission is to try to stop an extinction-level threat to all life on Earth.

A debut sci-fi spy thriller packed with real science and near-future stakes. I loved the research that went into it and there are definitely some tense moments, but the pace suffered from the same basic scientific concepts being explained multiple times (and at length). It felt repetitive and pulled me out of the story more than once.
Not the worst read of the year, just an okay one for me. Hard sci-fi fans who don’t mind info dumps might enjoy it more!
Huge thanks to NetGalley & the publisher for the advance copy

It's Da Vinci Code meets Armageddon - with a twist.
They have to first solve a fascinating puzzle before they discover what's in store for them. You won't need to love sci-fi to love this thriller. This book, grounded in reality, has some really important messages for us all today.

As a former Wiltshire resident with a desire to save the planet, this book ticked all my boxes. The author has done his research and produced a book that makes you think.

Exciting, engaging and absorbing. Factually correct backed up with hundreds of research articles. A good read.
