I always enjoy a good biker romance. I love that book at more intel about more of the biker life and the roles they play in. Marrietta is the good girl that got tired of being a good girl. She wanted to be a bad girl. When she wrote on the board about her being a virgin and asking somebody to help fix her problem. I thought she was crazy for doing it. She was willing to do anything to get Merrick's attention. A couple bikers were lined up wanting to pop her cherry. I'm glad the boss of the group was understanding about her situation or having her understand what is asking. She was given options of being a house mouse until she chose who she wanted to lose it with or be a house bunny which is doing it with everyone. I would be so scared if I was in that situation. Merrick was the quiet one. He kept to himself, but he did his job and part in the Wild Hair biker group. Marrietta a hidden talent I didn't know about, it was that she did pole dancing and stripping. That surprised me with her being a virgin and she seemed a bit shy. I believe that was one of the reasons why Merrick became more attracted to her. She put him into a spell with her moves like a siren would their voice. Merrick was quite protective of her and as much as he tried to hide. He attracted her and couldn't stop her. He was becoming obsessed with her. With time of them spending together, the chemistry was starting to flow through them. It wasn't just who you could trust to lose your virginity to, I believe it was about finding the right person to fall in love with. I'm glad towards the end, they finally admitted their feelings for each other and stayed together. Her two best friends were squad and sisters she always needs. Bailey didn't take crap from anybody. Betz who was one of the old ladies of the bikers. The old lady means the girlfriend or wife of the biker, I think. Iron Jack was one character I respected, he protected anyone who needed to be protected, he made the rules to be known, he took care of the community, and he always put everyone else before him. If you like a story talks about the biker community, cherry pop, forbidden romance, act packed, and steamy.

I wish I liked it more

This is the second in THIS Pickle series, and while I am a huge fan of this author and the Pickle-verse, I'm not a fan of this book...
3.5 stars for me.

While it was easy to read and understand the motives of the characters, Marietta was just a hot mess, unapologetically focused on losing her 'innocence', regardless of the dangers of inviting an MC to accept her as a club bunny, and all that entails.

I wanted more to her character, and while this storyline definitely had good MC drama and club activities, it was hard for me to ignore the focus of the story.

Merrick's situation and motivations were easy to understand, seeing as Deisel was moving forward in life, so joining the MC gave him a purpose, and something he could be a part of, that made him happy.

Overall, I just didn't connect well enough with the characters and the storyline to rate it higher. I absolutely love this author’s writing and have happily consumed most of her stories, and do recommend her creativity.

I really wish I liked this book more than I did.
I do suggest trying it for yourself, as the characters may work for you.

I look forward to reading the next one in this series, and enjoying it.

Ride or die biker style

Marietta and her girlfriends paint the night red in a biker bar, looking to loose her V card there, and spots a hottie behind the bar she's set her eyes on, Merrick former military and now bar owner has to protect the naive girl and her friends when she flashes the crowded bar, protectiveness is something he's not familiar with but enjoys the feeling when it comes to her, navigating the unknown they come closer and friendship kinda begins, finding your one true love, your ride or die, happily ever after, uncle Sherman weasels his way in again to protect his family, hilarious, touching, Brotherhood, and chosen family that is the biker community, another phenomenal addition to the Pickle family tree, I have voluntarily read and review this ARC, I thank you for the privilege, Dana Zamora

Our incredibly talented girl JJ has done the utterly impossible and made me love, love, love a motorcycle club romance! But this isn’t just any MC romance. We have a heroine whose unbridled mouth and impulsive antics get her into trouble and a laid-back hero with hidden depths who shows up every time for the people he cares about.

It starts with the old trope of a twenty-six-year-old woman wanting to lose her V Card, veers into her inserting herself into the Wild Hair MC and quickly morphs into an adrenaline-fueled ride into high-stakes danger. And somehow, the rough and ready side characters become quirky and loveable and feel like old friends by the end.

While this one is mostly Pickle-adjacent, we see and hear from a couple of beloved characters. Uncle Sherman helped Merrick and his brother Diesel rebuild the Leaky Skull bar and has been hands-off since, but your kidding yourself if you think his reach doesn’t stretch from New York to Miami when he wants it to.

This is such a freaking fun read! Knight has a way of highlighting the best aspects of a MC family while giving us glimpses of the rougher aspects but sprinkling everything with humor. It makes for a delightful, enchanting, bawdy, humorous read, and I couldn’t get enough! Equally charming and irreverent, you’ll love every minute you spend in this phenomenal, spellbinding fictional world.

Marietta has a wild side. She is also on a quest to lose her virginity and hopefully with Merrick since she has had a crush on him for a long time. However, in a wild moment she posts on a board at his bar that she wants to lose it and the message is announced in the bar filled with members of the MC that Merrick is a prospect for causing a huge uproar and some fighting over Marietta. She also tells Merrick that she thinks being a club bunny is what she wants causing an even bigger mess.
When the president decides that she will move into the MC as a house mouse until a decision is made on who will be her first, it starts a wild ride of humor and as with any MC, danger. Merrick is assigned to protect her and he finally starts to really see who Marietta is and starts to want her as well. This was a great read to see how the MC danger would play out, as well as if Marietta would get what she wants, or if she would truly learn what it was like to be an MC club bunny. Of course, you always have to count on some appearances by certain Pickle family members too!

Tricky Pickle

I am not usually a fan of motorcycle club books but since this involves the Pickle family I had to read it. And I loved it. The Wild Hair may be a MC but the guys are good guys and look out for their own. When a rival club begins to cause trouble, Merrick, who owns a bar and is a Prospect in the club for membership, becomes involved with helping the Wild Hair. The rival club deals drugs and that is not going to be accepted. Marietta is working on her Master's degree and wants to be involved with the club, especially Merrick, although she denies this at first. When Merrick is chosen to help the Wild Hair get rid of the rival club, he realizes his feelings for Marietta might be more than just a sexual attraction. And Marietta realizes that what she feels for Merrick might be more than she thought, especially when he doesn't return with the rest of the club.
I have loved the Pickle stories so far and this did not disappoint.

Another great Pickle story from JJ Knight!! If you haven't read into the Pickleverse yet, get started now! Tricky Pickle picks up where Wicked Pickle left off, this time with Marietta and Merrick's story.

Ever wonder how you become a prospect in an MC club? Or how bunnies or house mice are integrated into the club? Tricky Pickle gives you the lowdown on these things and tells a great story to boot.

Marietta wants to give her V-card away, but not just to anyone. She wants it to go to Merrick, but she causes a ruckus when she announces it and all of the old timers want to be the one to score the cherry. A rival club even gets in on the action.

I loved the great banter between the characters and the growth that Marietta goes through in the book. As always, JJ Knight brings us a fun story in the Pickleverse. I can't wait for the next one!

Alright so this one was a slow build but the end was worth everything. This one also isn’t all sunshine and roses. It had a bit of a darker tinge to it but still had some nice levity to it.

Merrick and Marietta were totally not ones you would put together. He is quiet/stoic and has a bit of a bad boy edge to him. She is a dreamer and total sunshine. While he’s not grumpy all the time he wears the grump mask like a weapon.

I really enjoyed this story. Focused more on the goings on in the club setting as well as the bar Merrick and Diesel own.

Also the pairing for the next book? Totally called that one during a scene in the bar lol I also had an inkling she might be next.

Would be fun to work Jenna into the family somehow too lol

I’m a huge fan of this author and a die hard Pickle Lover, so of course I wanted to read anything related to these two things. I am not however, a big reader of MC novels and live a life so polar opposite that it’s hard for me to imagine.

This latest book in the series is worth the read even if you want to shake some sense into the main character several times throughout the story. Marietta seems to have no self-control when she enters The Leaky Skull. She doesn’t seem to realize what she’s getting herself into by becoming the house mouse for the Wild Hair motorcycle club.

Despite being far from my reality, I couldn’t put this book down. I just wished Merrick realized that he didn’t need the club to be his family since he had Marietta. I’d loved to have seen him not join the club and keep himself safe from the drama that came with being a Wild Hair.

So disgusted with beginning of the story. Old men talking about sloppy seconds and fighting over who would take her this young woman's virginity. She makes one comment in a bar and suddenly the president of the MC is making decisions on her life. She has to go talk to him. No one can interfere with club business. Where are her friends. Why is it OK to everyone that the old men are talking of passing her around. Have we learned nothing about how to treat women? I loved all the other books in the Pickle series but this plot is so revolting to me. I did not finish.

I really enjoyed Merrick and Marietta; their story was funny, heartfelt, and filled with a lot of emotions. The banter between Marietta and the guys, as well as the MC club, was so much fun.
I am loving this series from the Picklebrother who left the Pickle family to live a life on their own.
If you haven't read JJ Knight yet, I highly recommend starting the Pickle series from the beginning. And she has other great series, which I also love.

A little too off the beaten path

Merrick and Marrieta’s story was a little to raw for me. I thought she was over the top with the V card thing and it went on too long. The author did clean it up nearing the end explaining the real life of a biker club which was interesting. Nice twist

Well! That was fun! Yep! Just as I knew it would be! Another fabulous Pickleverse story! Merrick and Marietta sure do just grab your attention as they get themselves into this crazy situation with the motorcycle club. Tricky Pickle by JJ Knight was such a fun ride.
As someone who has been dubbed the “Awkward Ally,” I was rooting hard for the absolute storm that was Hurricane Marietta. Watching Merrick try to figure out how to handle such a tricky situation was endlessly entertaining, and I loved seeing their relationship develop.
The found family aspect was just as enjoyable, and though Marietta may have bitten off more than she could chew, it was heartwarming to see that she still had people who had her back.
This was a quick, fun read and one you absolutely need to experience.

This was my first book by J.J. Knight, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Marietta has had a crush on Merrick for a while, but her awkwardness makes every interaction with him end in chaos. When she attends the reopening of his bar, she discovers that Merrick has become a prospect with the motorcycle club, Wild Hair. Determined for Merrick to be her first, Marietta makes a bold decision and declares she’ll become a bunny for the club.
Merrick isn’t quite sure what to make of Marietta, but he knows one thing for certain—she’s trouble. He doesn’t want to claim her as his old lady, but he also refuses to let just any biker be her first. As Marietta figures out what she really wants and who will have her back, she ends up becoming a house mouse for the Wild Hair. Her, and her virginity, are under their protection.
The sparks absolutely fly in this book. I loved how awkward Marietta is—and how completely she owns it. She goes after what she wants without worrying about anyone else’s opinions, and that confidence makes her such a fun heroine to read.
This was the perfect palate cleanser for me—full of spice, banter, and chemistry. I was here for every second of it. 🔥

Marietta is the wild to Merrick’s calm and I LOVE it! I laughed so much reading this because Marietta is so relatable!
The MC dynamic was done well and it gave this read some intense suspense and action!

The relationship started in such a hilarious way but it made reading this so much fun! Time to dive into the pickle verse some more!
