Start reading Nash Trail to Denver and ride with Nash on the legendary Goodnight-Loving Trail—where fortune favors the brave, and the frontier plays for keeps.
Patrick Lindsay came to Texas by way of Missouri, Canada, and California and has been proud to call the Lone Star State his home for more than forty years now. He retired in 2017 from “another life” as a CPA, whereafter he turned his hand to writing.
He has read just about everything by Louis L’Amour and first decided to give Western writing a try on his initial day of retirement. He has been writing ever since and loves the idea that so many people get enjoyment from his work.
Patrick and his wife Michelle live on a cattle ranch near Fort Worth along with cows, horses, chickens, and a very spoiled Great Pyrenees dog. He is an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs in football.
Another excellent Nash Walker book. There are 3 different plot lines; Nash and Levi buy some cows t drive with Goodnight and his outfit to Denver, Victoria is taking a stage to Denver to join her theater troop and Cole is the designated outlaw. Along the trail with Goodnight, they encounter herd cutters, Indians, raging rivers and have all sort of excitement. On the stage to Denver, Victoria shows she can shoot a gun when needed. Nothing boring about that ride. Cole is just riding toward his own destiny with big plans to rob the Denver bank.
I may still have dust on me from the trail ride. This story was the most realistic steer pusher I've ever read. Mr. lindsay added the little things that put you there. For me that's ten stars on two books. I've got five more stars for book number three..........
Nash Walker, a man looking for a new start after things get hot in Tennessee hills. It was hard on Bash finding his mother had passed on in her sleep. Nash really had no I deal what he wanted to do. However he seem always in the right place when needs, I enjoyed the short story.
I sure hope Nash and Victoria can find happiness and peace. Eventually even though it sounds like there's trouble up ahead he seems like he would make a good husband and a good father.
Good read. This is book 2 and another is on the way. I’m enjoy reading this series and the different scenarios that Nash and Victoria have while keeping the relationship growing towards marriage.
The author has written a really great story of the hardships and adventures of a cattle drive from Texas to Colorado. Action packed and thriller that will keep you entertained.
Now read two of the Nash Walker series, god story line. It’s an easy read for a snowy wet day. Like the characters and bad guys are bad.. enjoyed this series.
