Ice King
It is a known fact that sometimes a man has to find his heart in order to become the best version of himself. Viktor is no exception and when he least expected it Bella swoops in. She is given to him instead of her father paying a debt and since Viktor is a collector her father thinks Bella is the best temporary solution.
However, even bad guys have a code to live by and that’s no women or children in Vik’s world. He plans to end her father. That’s until he locks eyes with her and his life does a 360 in the blink of an eye. It’s the first time he sees a future with someone and his world which had no color comes to life. This book made me full on swoon and I even cried a little bit. Just knowing that there is someone for everyone helped get me through this day.
Also I haven’t done this is a while but the line that slayed me !!

Bella knew exactly who and what her father was, a man who was addicted to gambling and owed the most notorious mob boss in New York a lot of money and his way of paying him was her, she was being used as collateral. Something changed within her the moment that she set eyes on the man known as The Ice Man, there was no ice only fire in his eyes when they look at her and she was already burning for him. Bella knows that this is a man known for his detachment but that is far from what she feels from him, is she really falling for a man that she knows can kill with a flick of his hand, could he and has he changed for her or will he show her the reason for his reputation.
Viktor grew up on the streets and learned early the only way to survive was to rule the streets and become detached from feelings, he embraced the name he earned as the Ice Man and now has New York in the palm of his hand. His only rule is no innocents, so when Seth Rossi can’t pay his interest and arrives at his office with his daughter as collateral, he is ready to make him pay the ultimate price, which is until he sees Bella, his heart thaws before he realizes it. He is ready for a future with Bella, but can he really turn his back on the empire he has built and the man that he has always been for love?
I simply love this author she gives me hard men that are super alpha, possessive and have been downright evil in their life and gives them innocent women that change everything. Viktor found all he had ever needed in Bella, and she found love and protection when she should have felt fear. Highly recommended read. 5* read for me.

No sé por qué me pongo tan quisquillosa con estas historias, pero entro con la idea de la sinopsis y no sé que pasa en medio.
La historia no fue una genialidad, la verdad que me dio muy igual. Si me gustaron algunas frases y momentos, pero no puedo destacar nada porque hubieron ciertas cosas que me opacaron toda idea.
Bella empieza una relación con este tipo que sabe que es un mafioso despiadado, pero negara a que sea un mafioso despiadado. Traté de fingir que se puede cambiar a un hombre, te juro que lo intenté, pero no me lo hacían fácil estos dos.
Él diciendo que ella es una debilidad, pero ANTES dijo que era su fortaleza ¿? quien te entiende papito.
Hay una parte en particular que me fastidió muchisimooo, cuando dice que ella parece hecha con inteligencia artificial ¿? wtf soy una persona particular porque odio la ia, me rompe las pelotas todo lo creado con la ia y a sabiendas de lo que este avance puede provocar me molesta cada vez más, ese discurso nos hace creer que lo que la ia hace esta bien, es lindo y hermoso, natural sin cuestionar. No. No es así. Esta muy alejado de serlo.
En alguno aspecto resuelve, no lo vamos a negar, pero cuando resuelva la máquina el cerebro deja de saber resolver ¿se entiende?

My experience with Owned by the Mob Boss by Jenna Rose was quite bland. I kept waiting for the chaos, the blood, the violence, and the drama that usually come with this kind of story, but they never showed up. The plot fails to truly engage or deliver anything compelling. It feels more like when a friend says, “I met someone, he changed my life, and I married him,” without any real depth or conflict. Overall, it lacked intensity and proper development.

This was a fast and filthy read in the best possible way. Viktor is the definition of dangerous and dominant, but once he sets his sights on her, it’s game over. Their chemistry is instant, intense, and totally over the top, which is exactly what I expect from a Jenna Rose novella.
If you love mafia romance with a powerful alpha, a virginal heroine, and a steamy plot that wastes no time getting to the good stuff, this one is a must-read. Quick, spicy, and completely addictive from start to finish.

If you are looking for a book that will melt your heart this is it. Vik has hardened his heart. It didn’t have a place in his world. Then he’s given Bella. At first, I wasn't a fan of the FMC, but as I kept reading, my perspective changed. It turns out, the FMC is actually the best thing that has happened to our MMC. He truly turned over a new leaf for her, and now it seems like the Ice Man is no longer the same. In fact, he's quite the opposite now, showing how much he's obsessed with her.
