JAMIE I never wanted him. Not the city's golden boy. Not the bully who made my life hell. And definitely not the masked freak who chased me through the woods the night everything changed. But now Lex Rothwell isn't just the guy I avoid on campus— he's my stepbrother. My new personal nightmare. And every time he looks at me, I can't tell if he wants to ruin me... or kiss me again.
LEX I've hated Jamie Lancaster for years. His smart mouth. His soft eyes. His ability to get under my skin like he belongs there. I should've forgotten that night in the woods– the mask, the fear in his voice. But I didn't. Now he lives in my house, sleeps down my hall, and tests every rule I've ever lived by. I don't want him. I shouldn't want him. But some boys aren't meant to be loved. Some are meant to be hunted.
A forbidden, twisted MM bully romance about two stepbrothers who destroy every line they weren't supposed to cross.

Kayden pours his heart into every relationship, every twist, and every emotional beat, hoping that readers fall in love with his characters just as deeply as he does. One thing is certain: no matter which book you pick up by him, Kayden Montgomery will leave you with a story—and characters—you’ll be thinking about long after the last page.
im pretty sure this is written by AI. the plot was interesting at first, especially the description. i was excited to read this. it felt extremely rushed, the whole “hate his guts” thing lasted 2 mins. the characters had no development whatsoever, there was no growth in the characters or their relationship. as i read on, the plot stopped making sense and it seemed like the story was over in the first 100 pages. where was the build up? i noticed a lot of grammar mistakes. the whole book just seemed like lazy writing. also didn’t like how the author made a point to mention how much of a “perfect” MMC Lex is by labelling him as someone the girls on tiktok would be attracted to. very weird. didn’t like this at all.
it’s a shame because the plot could have been written so much better if someone just put in a bit of effort and not ‘cheated’ by having AI write this book.
I wanted to like this book, it sounded so good but dnf at 50% because I couldn’t get past the amount of mistakes, “I know I didn’t told you about him” “Why did acted like that at the party” “Nid-sentence”
character development is of page lex hates Jamie and wants to scare him then a 3 week time jump and he’s obsessed and being nice.
This book seems like it’s the same plot of the book chokehold by Leigh Rivers …. It’s like you took the characters of that one book. Changed the names. Added a little differences. But really it’s the same book….
Stepbrothers Enemies The whole cat and mouse game.
Sorry this is definitely a knock off version of the book.
Lot of inconsistency and grammar errors. Also the top MMC has a 10.5 incher and lube was never used????!!! Yeah that’s not believable at all. I DNFd al little after 50%. I wanted to like this but couldn’t get passed the no lube.
