When love, loyalty, and power collide, somebody always bleeds.
Pressure Mensah built his life on control, but the night he was gunned down changed everything. Now the island is on edge, and the Mensah name carries more weight than ever. Abeni Mensah is ready to move like the queen she is, and she’s not stopping until whoever pulled the trigger on her son pays for it in full. She already knows it was Kashmere, and she’s coming for her without hesitation. Every move Abeni makes is calculated, and every door she knocks down brings her one step closer to finding Kashmere Charm. She’s tearing through family ties, burning bridges, and reminding the world that when it comes to her bloodline, nothing is off limits.
Meanwhile, Kashmere’s spiraling. Her guilt is twisting into paranoia, and her fear of what’s coming feels heavier than the bullets she fired. There’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and she’s finally realizing that Abeni Mensah is far more dangerous than she ever imagined.
Pluto’s world is hanging by a thread. She’s fighting to keep her faith, protect her newborn, and hold on to the man who showed her what real love feels like. Every second feels like a countdown, and the question hanging in the air got everybody whispering—will Pressure survive, or will Trill-Land burn trying to avenge him?
In the explosive finale of Certified Pressure, love gets dangerous, family gets ruthless, and the crown sits heavier than it ever has before.
i should give this book a 3 star bc for a final saga it was TEW focused on other people and not pluto and pressure! felt like we barely got much from pluto and she became a side character in her own story! kash ain’t get the bad ending i wanted and now we have more drama with abeni offing ole boy like 😭😭😭 im annoyed
kay’lo is crazy but so real for what he did in the end i can’t even fault him LMFAO ! but the wedding was really so beautifully written i had to cry
Whew… let me just start by saying: this one took me a minute. Not because it was bad, but because my attention kept packing its bags and LEAVING. There were cliffhangers at the end, yes — but respectfully, I don’t care enough to keep going into Forever Certified. I’ve reached my emotional capacity with this universe.
I did a lot of skimming in this book. Like Olympic-level skimming. Kay’Lo & Toni’s storyline? I skimmed those sections like they were Terms & Conditions. I got the gist. I moved on.
Pluto, my little emotional landmine… girl. She irritated me again — shocker. It felt like she was looking for reasons to be upset over the tiniest things. And then every minor misunderstanding turned into a long, dramatic monologue about how much she loved Pressure and how he was her air, water, gravity, and whatever else.
At some point I was like: “We get it. You love him. He loves you. Y’all are in love. Y’ALL LOVE EACH OTHER. WE UNDERSTAND.” The repetition was repeating. The declarations were declaring. The pages were dragging.
And yes, I get it — this is book four, they’re finally together, they’re in love, they’re living their soft-life fantasy. I’m sure the author wanted to highlight that. But baby, I did not need 43 reminders per chapter.
Now Abeni… ma’am. Queen Mother. Goddess of Power and Vengeance… we need to talk.
I understand her strength, her status, her “don’t play with my family” aura. But I did not agree with half those killings. Kashmere’s father? Shady, yes. But corrupt business dealings don’t equal “you must die because my daughter got her heart broken.” And the man was literally kind and cooperative with Pressure when they met. He genuinely did not know where his daughter was — which was proven true. She absolutely could’ve let him go. That whole situation was giving pot calling the kettle black, especially since she’s out here blackmailing politicians like it’s Buy One Get One Free day.
But when she killed Lyrick?? Oh, I checked OUT. That man did not deserve that at ALL. It was a thin line between understanding her as a mother versus understanding her as a woman. Because honestly, as a woman? I fully get where Kashmere was coming from. Being left at the altar by the man who swore up and down he loved you, ALL while he runs off to have a baby with your best friend? I would’ve been in jail too. Maximum security. No parole.
But as a mother? “Touch my child and I will set the world on fire.” And Abeni took that personally.
I am slightly curious about what happened to the baby, but not curious enough to emotionally re-invest. I’m clocked out of this franchise.
Overall: A good series. Definitely entertaining. Definitely messy. Definitely filled with drama. But also definitely repetitive and drawn out toward the end. Books 3 and 4 had me skimming like my life depended on it.
BUT — drama was delivered. Chaos was served. Characters were… characters. So mission accomplished.
Certified Pressure? Completed it, but I’m not renewing my contract for the spin-off. 😂📚🔥

Ok book 4 was drawn out, this could’ve been wrapped up in book 3. Introducing new characters and different plots in the last book is crazy. I was interested in Kaylo story but being she gave them so many chapters in book 4 I’m really over ALL OF THEM!!! And Pressure is not an unhinged character to me, he is a CERTIFIED LOVER BOY! I renamed him Drake, cuz this man stayed in his feelings.
The last two books of this series were the best out of the rest. I dislike the repetitive of he looked like he was loved and he looked at us knowing he was loved. Ok ok after the first 2 times of the same saying I was over it.
I was disappointed in this last book honestly, I dont understand why Toni and Lo had so many parts. The ending for Kash took too long to get too and where is her baby annoyed
I been rocking with Pressure since book one and that man had me crashing out on numerous occasions. I loved how much Pressure grew as a man and I loved how he loved Pluto out loud. Zurie was his daughter and his love for her was so beautiful. Now Kash, that trifling heffa had the nerve to still play victim. She even named her some after Pressure. I was like girl, you need to leave delu- Lu land. Because that man don’t want you, he good making babies and making Pluto come. I knew she was a snake ass b#$&@, I can’t say I was surprised when she and dude started messing around. I glad she and her people met their karma.
My thoughts: Y’all… I was NOT prepared. I thought I was ready. I thought my heart had survived the first three books. I thought I had built emotional calluses. But Sha Jones kicked the door in, snatched my wig, shattered my soul, and left me on the floor whispering “one more chapter.”
This finale? PURE CHAOTIC, TOXICALLY DELICIOUS PRESSURE.
From page one, this man—this walking felony with a beard crafted by God on His day off—had me pacing around my living room like I owed him something. The smoke? The tattoos? The unhinged nature by not only him but his mother too. The way he moves like he got ancestors from both Olympus and the block?? PLEASE.
This book felt like being held hostage by a man who smells expensive and makes terrible decisions with his whole chest.
Sha said: • You want soft moments? Here’s one—now duck, because chaos is coming. • You want romance? Ok, babe—right after this fight, this act of betrayal, this I didn’t see that coming and that scene that will have your blood pressure elevated . • You want closure? You’ll get it, but it’s gonna like it .
I finished Certified Pressure 4 last night and THIS was the ending I’ve been waiting on! There’s just something about finally seeing your main characters get it together, fall in love, and get their happily ever after—I loved every bit of it. And Mama A? She’s been an OG from the very start. I love her DOWN. She always gives it straight with no chaser, and I would never want to be on her bad side. Part of me wishes she would’ve left certain things alone, but hey—the saga must saga. I’m definitely locked in to see how everything unfolds from here.
Now, Kashmere? I felt bad for her for maybe two seconds, and then reality kicked in. Karma is real. If she had shot Pressure and then genuinely tried to move forward and not be trash, maybe I could’ve understood. But sleeping with that girl’s man, having a baby, and thinking life was gonna magically be sweet? Girl, be serious. It actually made me laugh.
Toni Roc and Kay’Lo—at first their part felt a little out of place, but I get that it’s setting things up for the next book. I’m curious to see where their storyline goes, because Kay’Lo definitely gives Certified Nut, and I’m absolutely here for it.
Overall, I loved the growth and maturity between Pressure and Pluto throughout this whole book. I’m just hoping their parents’ decisions don’t come back to bite them. But this was a solid five-star read for me. Each book just kept getting better—1 and 2 were a little shaky, but 3 and 4? They knocked it out the park. You did that!

I can finally stop holding my breath because I truly thought Pressure was done. The ending was solid, but I’ll admit—I wanted a little more chaos, a little more of that wild-card tension this author usually throws with no warning. It wrapped up neatly, almost too expected.
Pressure stepping into his grown-man, family-first era was a good look, but Abeni—his mama—absolutely carried this book. She moved like a woman with no fear and no brakes. She had Kash on her knees emotionally, physically, and psychologically, clearing out anything attached to her without hesitation. And taking the baby? Yeah, that was a strategic hit I did not see coming. I’m still questioning the intention behind it because that move shifted the whole board. Abeni is the textbook definition of savage.
I just wish we got a peek into Renza, Blaqson, and even Noore—just a little closure or setup would’ve hit nicely.
But overall, this was a sound wrap-up. Now I’m looking dead at Kaylo, because if he snaps the way I think he will? Forever Certified fits his installment perfectly. I already know he’s about to get unhinged behind love, and I’m here for every messy second.
I truly enjoyed this book and although I know there is more to come, I’m glad 2 of these couples got to experience there HEA!!!… If no accountability was a person, it would definitely be Krashmere!!!… I love the growth btwn Pressure and Pluto!!!…Although Pressure admits that he should have done things differently with Krashmere, he knows that he was not the ONLY person at fault!!!…Pluto’s growth and ability to see things through a different lens show that she was ready for the commitment of marriage!!!… Abeni and Kojo I know is a very calm and calculated couple!!!…She opened a door for someone to come thru, but I don’t think they are ready to come thru it!!!…Kojo has sat in the background through this whole book and let his wife stand out front while he watch while being unseen!!!… Kay’Lo is a true protector and he meant what he said!!!…Toni will soon understand the man she married!!!… Where that baby at though!!!…Krashmere for sure is going to crumble, no matter who she link with!!!…To lose everything and everyone around you has to been a pain that hits you deep in your soul!!!…
Where do I even begin??? This series pulled me in from the first page! It was so intriguing to see relationships from both points of view—it really shows how our communication styles, backgrounds, past traumas, and lived experiences shape how we interact with the opposite sex, even when the desire to love each other is right there.
Every character was memorable and vulnerable in their own unique way. My favorite was Pluto. Her struggle was heartbreaking, but I’m truly happy to see where she is in life now. My next unforgettable character is Toni Rock… my heart absolutely breaks for her. Why do we, as a community, keep pretending awful family secrets shouldn’t be addressed? Why do we keep victimizing the victims? 🤬😡
This series was thought-provoking and emotional—full of broken trust, ruined friendships, abusive parents, and hard truths. Just know this series was SO GOOD. I’m already waiting on the next book to drop, because I know it’s about to go DOWN!!!
I am so glad that both Pressure and Pluto grew up and finally chose each other.
It’s always sad when a lifelong friendship has to die for growth to occur. Pluto was mourning her parents and her best friend, while trying to navigate her life and taking care of her sister. I understand her retreating constantly, it’s a form of self preservation. I would have liked a different ending for Lyrick, I don’t think he deserved what happened to him. He was unaware of her past, which made him innocent in that situation. I think Kash should have died and he got the baby. And honestly…I was tired of reading about Toni and Kay’Lo. They needed their own space separate from Pressure and Pluto. I would have liked this book to focus on P&P more. The scene with Kamir made me sob. I think to honor him, their oldest should’ve been named Premir and their youngest, Prestyn. Kaylon is too close to Kay’Lo. What if Kay’Lo wanted to name his son after himself? Just my thoughts…

This series was a wild ride and the first three books had me locked in. The drama, the competition, the friendships falling apart, the emotions, all of it was top tier. Pluto was easy to root for and Kashmere was chaotic in the most unhinged way. Pressure stayed torn between love and loyalty, which kept everything messy in the best way.
I also liked the extra POVs, but those side relationships felt rushed. If the author wanted to show other couples, I wish we had seen the development instead of them just popping up in love.
The fourth book dragged for me. It had moments, but it did not hit the way I expected after everything that happened earlier in the series. As for accountability, Kashmere definitely got something, but I do not know if it was what she truly deserved. There were loose ends that made me feel like the author might be setting up another series.
Messy, chaotic, entertaining, and addictive. The series is worth the ride.
Sha Jones you wrote the HELL out this book, matter of fact this whole series was amazing!!! Your pen game is off the chain!!! I absolutely loved ever bit of Pressure and Pluto’s Love, even though I was ready to do snap on her ssa when she said she was leaving while he was helping Kay’Lo!!! I promise I was like ‘I know this heifer not running again’ Mama Abeni is my favorite, she don’t take no 💩 from nobody and Daddy Kojo be right there supporting all her shenanigans. When that man said “we deal with it, just like we always have” and “let’s make sure we win” Baby, I hollered!!! I have to admit that little twist with Assmere and the Baby, I definitely did not see that coming, now I’m wondering who exactly is Lyrick’s Daddy since he coming for Mama Abeni???? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sha Jones baby girl you wrote the hell out of part four. I hated pressure from book one and in book four you made me see him in a different light. I actually enjoyed and appreciated his change he definitely grew up to be a man. The way he loved Pluto and showed up for his family really touched me. Abeni I just loved the moma bear a real protective love without limits. Kay'lo that man definitely brings the heat the way he loves Toni absolutely beautiful. Forever Certified can't wait let the drama continue. Hopefully Blaqson and Renza finds there happily ever afters. I don't right reviews anymore but this book definitely deserved one... Job well done Sha Jones you did that.....😍😘😍😘😍😘😍😎
I just started reading Sha Jones this year, when I tell you this series was beautifully written. Yes it was different from what other authors write, but the story line was well written. I hated Kashmere, and I knew she was a snake, but reading what she did to another female confirmed it. I loved how even though Pluto and Pressure was done wrong by her, neither of them wanted her killed. That just showed growth on both of their ends. What I will say is that Pressure and Kay'lo can eat the hell out of some 🐱. Lay me on a table with their elbows propped up on the table and face down anytime. 😈. I loved how the ending was so beautifully written can't wait for the future books by her. Pluto deserved everything that she got in the end.
You know I just loved this whole series and this finale REALLY DID IT FOR ME !!! Like I’m proud of the man Pressure became because it took us awhile to get her. && My girl PLUTOOO baby she deserved everything that she got and I’m glad both of them realized that they needed each other && they are stronger together side by side. && for Krashmere 🙄🙄🤨 she deserved what she got and baby I don’t feel bad for her not one bit. That girl is truly delusional and needs help. && Abeni baby please dnt mess with her because she is really TTG && Kojo too. Don’t mess with their family and it won’t be no problems 😮💨😮💨😳😳🫣🫣 if you haven’t please go dive into this series I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET IT 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Sha Jones did it again, kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end and then pushed me over!! The type of loved weaved throughout this story is unparalleled. Kojo and Abeni have a classic, old school unspoken love. Pressure and Pluto have a new school, roller coaster love and Kay’Lo and Toni Roc have a love rooted deep in pain and suffering but uncovered by true love.
The way this family fights for and with each other is a beautiful, broken puzzle glued together in blood.
Kashmere and her family are the REAP WHAT YOU SOW FAMILY!!!
This series was amazing I read all four books in about 3 days. I couldn’t put it down. Pressure is the epitome of talk you through it. I see why everybody was thinking they was pregnant lol. He was very immature in the beginning and was desperately in need of growth. Thankfully he understood what being a man was about. It was amazing to watch Pluto become the woman she needed to be. I was truly hoping for her and Kashmere to get an understanding but oh well. I think Abeni may have crossed a line that will cause so much turmoil. She doesn’t care but I feel she knows she went too far. I can’t wait for the next installment. GO READ!!
Honestly, I should have stopped at the third. This book took so long to read because more time I was just uninterested in what was happening.
Abeni I have a strong dislike for her character. Kashmere I just have no interest in her anymore, I recognise she’s hurt and sad but her chapters bored me. Pressure and Pluto you’re happy and your son wears a chain I heard it the first eighteen times. First three books was weed smoking every minute, fourth book was gold chain on a baby and everything royal. I’m over it.
HOWEVER Kay’lo & Toni Roc I. Am. Here. For. It!!! I’m looking forward to their book. I like their characters and the issues and drama past and to come. Can’t wait to read it.
Eh this book was alright. Everybody was pregnant. Everyone was in love . Everyone's lips parted, champagne color everything. I didn't like how the men did not have manly attributes when it came to the things they would say when talking amongst each other. the overuse of the same adjectives to describe everything for became annoying to me. The sex scenes were so drawn out this could be an erotica, I skipped over most of it and found that was at least like 35% of the book. My favorite character was Abeni in this story. She did not come to play! Cashmere also had a good story line. Everything else kinda just seemed like page fillers.

I really enjoyed this series! I liked seeing Pluto and Pressure's love evolve! My favorite part was when Pressure was told by Lola that she was a man! Pressure said man I kissed her on the forehead ! Kaylo, Renza and Blaqson was laughing so hard! And I think I laughed a good 15 mins at that part! IT WAS SO HILARIOUS!! But anyway Abeni is a force to be reckoned with! Kaylo has really stepped up for Toni! I can't wait to see how his parents handle the marriage! I do feel bad how Kaylo's father humiliated Toni! That was so hurtful! Im looking forward to the next installment!!
I’m so happy Pressure and Pluto was able to have the concept of a happy ending. I understand why his mother did what she had to do. Kashmere obviously was mentally unstable. She’s that way because of her father. To think I thought the father was just a serial cheater, to think he was so much more. Kash was raised in a home of facade and hate. She really just wanted someone that was genuinely for her. Even if they belonged to someone else. Can’t wait for the installment of the book.

Part 4partially ended I really don't understand but I'm definitely looking forward to part five with my girl Toni and klow. Pressure Pluto kashmere. Pressure mother did not come to play and she respected pressure wishes. I am happy for my girl Pluto she got her happy ending her and pressure. The mom did not start until she got her pay back for her son. I am ready for part five
One word…Peace! Yasssss Pressure survived and finally got the peace he so desperately needed but Pluto too. They both were scared but fought through it and have sons together. Baby Abeni don’t play on no day. She’s about family and if you cross them, that’s your ass. Do you want to be buried together? 😂😂 I screamed!!! Oh and Kay’lo! That man is insane but I loved his gift! Can’t wait for his book
Sha the story beginning , middle and end just beauty…
Pressure did a lot of growing up, Pluto became wise one, Kashmere didn’t change, Kaylo crazy, Toni is in over head. The story line was different and beautiful. Pressure and Pluto’s love has trials. Kaylo and Toni are really interesting. Abeni don’t play when it comes to her son. Kash really tried to move forward without consequences for her actions. I hope he learn more about Pluto and Pressure everyone’s story still.
Fire … this whole series has been my everything… when i started I wasn’t aware there would be a book 4 … I’m so glad I found it when I did bcz I finished a week before this dropped but had already started something else.. well I will say I want more … this story could keep going and for our sake let’s hope that Sha is loving us as much as we love the Mensah kingdom. Happy reading
Certified High Blood Pressure is over. The storyline between Pluto and Pressure results in their HEA of course. This book could've been a novella. Pluto and Pressure didn't need a whole book to wrap them up. Kay'Lo(who I love :) so much), Toni, and Abeni take the lead in this book for sure. Kashmere is back, well she's in Halo Key, but she reaches out to Pressure to get him to have his mom ease up on her family. Abeni is definitely a libra, because that grudge she holds is next level. Kashmere experiences Abeni's wrath in the cruelest way possible while letting her live. I'm looking forward to Kay'Lo and Toni's book, because he is crazy in a good way to me. He gifts his wife her uncle's head after months of harassment after their elopement. It can seem crazy, but it's definitely love.
