Precious Obsession, book 2 the Lawson Legacy series by Sara Hinds @sarahindsauthor. First, I am a fan of Sara & this book was no different!

This is the second book in the Lawson Legacy series (though I also suggest reading the novella first as it gives history to book one and is spicy and delicious too). Book 2 starts after book one and you must read the prior book before starting this one.
Here we have Kat, Nathaniel, Alex, Des, Oliver, Vince and adorable Addy. This is a definite step up in spice for our group. It's a bit of a complicated dynamic (and a bit taboo) because we have a couple of father/son/uncle situations in this relationship, though no 'contact' happens between any of the crew. Kat is growing in her relationship with them all. Growing in confidence in her relationships with each of the guys and also with what the Lawson men are offering, with her complicated feelings about money and gifts. When I saw the spice was spicing, I mean it. This was the sexiest book by far and I loved it. These Lawson men (and Vince - our honorary Lawson member) treat Kat with the utmost respect and I really loved that. They're supportive of Kat, each other and Addy.
All in all, I really loved this book (per usual - I love everything Sara writes). She gave us a doozy of a cliff hanger at the end but promises a HEA at the end of their journey.

Dealing with the aftermath
*Go read the novella and book one first*
So if course this picks up where book 1 ended. Everyone is still really shaken up and the men are being even more overprotective of Kat and Addison.
I absolutely adore the Lawson men and Vincent. Each of these men adore Kat and they all bring something uniquely them to the relationship. Oooo but let's talk about Vincent finally realizing he wants to be part of this relationship though definitely at a slow burn.
Oh but Oliver...he is the one to make you swoon. He is so sweet with Addison. Let's talk about him slowly coming to realize Kat is not after them for anything other than themselves. That book date that wasn't a date with Addison, Oli and Kat was absolutely adorable. But the hot chocolate and little cheek kisses are the sweetest moments. I can't wait for him to fully give in because I need to know if he is this sweet and gentle in all aspects or if there is a freak in the sheets. I'll take either but I really wanna know.
Of course as some thing's are getting better we get slammed with that freaking cliffhanger. I mean what and why and who? Sara this is cruel and I need book three yesterday.

Well we are back with Kat and her many guys, it's definitely a confusing situation being that 2 are the fathers of 2 of the other men in this little harem and then seemingly likely a very close family friend to the eldest father. Nathan and Alex are brothers and Desmond is Nathan's son while Oliver is Alex's son and then Nathan's friend Vincent too.
This book is highly spicy, practically every chapter could contain a spicy scene which we love! The book follows on from where the first ended and we get to see some more growth in feelings between all our characters, Oliver and Vincent still not fully there though despite antagonising them a lot.
Kat just fits so well into this dynamic and is such a good mother to Nathan's young daughter. Although nothing seems to be simple for them... We could have ended it there with this book but something had to happen again and now I shall be waiting quite a while to see what happens next finally and for them all to hopefully get their HEA that they deserve.

The Lawson men + Vincent... 😍🔥 Between the five of them, Kat gets pretty much all the different types of book boyfriends, hahaha. They're such a great mix and they each give her different things that she needs after everything that Carter put her through.

This book starts where the first one left off. I enjoy the characters, and we get to see more from Vincent and Oliver. I like Kat and understand her struggles with money, but there were a few times in this book where I could have just told her to be quiet and accept the gift. The plot of this book was okay. In this book, I think, it is more about developing the relationship between the group. It is great, but when it came time to deal with Kat's problem, which was more of a focus in the first book, it didn't seem as important in this book. Granted, it was talked about and dealt with, but it didn't seem as concerning as it was before. I loved the ending, but I am also frustrated. I knew what was wrong with Kat, but I definitely didn't see the other part coming. Although I may have a pretty good idea who it might have been, just because they are mentioned in this book a few times. Overall good read and can't wait for book 3.

This is book 2 in the series. If you haven’t read the Novella “Unexpectedly Lawson” or book one, I suggest you stop and go start the novella. Because you will eat these pages up. That being said. I didn’t want to put the book down. Had I not had adult responsibilities, I would have binged this one in a day. It was so good. I love how the characters developments just keep getting better. You fall in love with them so much, each of the men in Kats life adds just the right about of support and love she deserves. We love Nat and her Des and her, Alex and her. But man, I was so excited to finally see Oli let his guard down and allow himself to have some time with her. That man will be making us swoon. I cannot wait for book three. 10/10 recommend. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️star read for me. And on the chilly pepper scale 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ loved every bit of it. (Aside from it ended ) oh and the cliffhanger at the end…. Did NOT see that coming. I definitely need the next book asap.

I devoured this book!! I finished it in 1 day to be exact.
I really enjoyed the storyline. I loved the characters even more.
Kat is perfect for each of the guys and the best acting mom to Addy. Kat is sweet, tender, and so thoughtful. It was so good to see her sassy side and slowly gaining confidence.
I love each of her men. I truthfully can't pick a favorite. The author does a great job keeping them each unique and providing something different to Kat.
These men are swoon worthy for sure. They are always trying to prove their love and affection for her.
In addition, this book had a bit of suspense, some humor, lots of spice, and so many feels.
My favorite parts were seeing each relationship grow. I'm also happy to see Oliver and Vince finally admit their feelings, even if only to themselves.
This was an excellent continuation of the Lawson Legacy!

soooooooo good
I thought I was going to spontaneously combust a few different times while reading this book. I love the dynamics between the guys and her. I think they are definitely the right ones to help her find her confidence. I also think she’s the right one to help them live more in the moment and remember the joys of the smaller things in life. But I seriously love Kats and Addy’s relationship. It just makes my heart so happy that there’s so much unconditional love and joy between the two of them. I love this series so much. That ending though…. Definitely rougher than the cliffy of the first. So prepare yourself. Also, if you’ve read other series written by Sarah you might see a familiar face or two pop up.

What can I say? Well if I could give book 2 in the Lawson Legacy series a 10 ⭐️ I would! Everything Sara Hinds writes is perfection no matter which trope you're diving into!
This book picks up where book 1 ends with Kat and her men. Nothing is simple and there are obstacles personally and out of the control that must be handled. The men dynamic is coming around while the book is super spicy we have a couple straggling men avoiding and realizing their feelings for Kat and I can say I am rooting for them! The others are there! The add the little princess daughter who ends up in the wildest situations due to the outside threats! While there is growth and fun it wouldn't be a true story without mischief, drama and a cliff hanger!
I needed book 3 like yesterday!

Dear lord the spice in Precious Obsession could have set my Kindle on fire. Honestly it should come with a warning "These men will make you spontaneously combust and then beg for more." I absolutely devoured this story in one night and am happy to report it is EVERYTHING we all were hoping for and more. Seriously, if you want a book with the absolute sweetest FMC, an adorable little girl she looks after as her own, and men that call her their Queen and would burn the world for her, all while protecting her from a crazed ex, look no farther than Precious Obsession!

This covered a lot of ground with their relationships and what they all want long term.
Kat develops more strength.

Part of the ending was fairly obvious, the other part not so much and I cannot wait for the next book.

The book overall was brilliant. I really love these characters and the story has me hooked. I’ve read it twice in two days because one read wasn’t enough, it just left me wanting more. The story had its ups and downs and had me hooked from the very beginning. I loved how everything seemed to come together and be tied up nicely but OMG, That ending!!! I am already obsessing over what will happen in the next book and I’m hoping that it releases sooner rather than later! I would highly recommend giving this book a read.

What a whirlwind, explosive second installment of the Lawson series!
I adored book 1 and 0.5 and they really set the scene for this amazing family set up.
Kat is a beacon of hope to these men and i love her embracing the whole family even if its took encouragement to get there for some.
Just as we feel like the drama is calming it takes off again and the story manages to be wholesome, emotional and action packed exciting.
Im going to be chomping at the bit waiting to discover the next title in the series after the reveleations in the latter part of the book.

Awesome story. It was a steamy page turner, and the suspense was so intense. I was on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't even put it down. The book cover was so and eye candy. Kat and Oliver romance was complicated, and sexy attendance was so intense and excited of passion and rumors. All of her men were so much in love with her, and it was hard for to choose from in this moment.

Ugh!!! The cliffhanger!!
This is the second full length novel on the Lawson’s Legacy series. The books must be read in order so go back and read Beneficial Misfortune if you haven’t already. This picks up where book one leaves us and Kat continues to get more comfortable with her guys. Kat finally gets peace from her ex thanks to the guys. However, this gal can’t catch a break and we are left with another major cliffhanger. There is lots and lots of spice throughout which helps advance the plot and deepen relationships. Will be waiting impatiently for the next book.

Just when i thought Sara was tying everything up with a bow, she throws a curveball right at the end. 😭 what a cliff hanger...while I did guess part of the ending I didnt guess the other.
I love that they men are still totally devoted to Kat as they were in the first book, and Nathan's breeding kink ...🥵🥵🥵.

Obsession is RIGHT!!
I have been in love with the Lawsons since page 1. No joke. Then, the more I read, the more Vince grew on me and I just couldn't say no because honestly, why choose?
Sara has written another amazing, addictive and adventurous book in this series. I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger and still put myself through it because to be honest, it is worth it in the end!

So good. I need book three like so soon. I love this entire group. Theres so much steam. Lots of action. Several twists. So much heart, it's sweet, and sassy, funny, and a bit sad. Ollie I think is my favorite, but I really love all the guys, and the way they are with Kat and even more how they are with Addison. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Smokin!! This book is HOT! Please be aware this is book 2 and you should certainly be sure to read book 1 FIRST. Now wow this Reverse Harem has a dynamic that is New to me!! 2 dads and their SONS!! (No mm) amazing and there’s more to this series than just the burning spice. The relationship building is on point with all the mc’s.

Totally hooked!
I am totally hooked on this book Des, Oli, Nathan,Alex ,and Vince oh my! This is definitely now one of my all time favorites. Reading this book draws you in and it is so well written you can't put it down not like you would want to .And the spice was just to my liking! It will make you want to take Kat's place! You should definitely put this on your TBR! Enjoy!

Great book in the Lawson Legacy series! I love how Kat fits with all the guys and especially, Addy. The relationships continue to grow in this slow burn, reverse harem and age gap book. I definitely recommend this series.

I love this series so much!! Seriously, this book has some of the hottest spicy scenes I've ever read. The story is great, the characters are wonderful & it is overall fabulous. I have a serious book crush on Oliver & need him to get with the program ASAP 🤣 I need the next book yesterday 😛

I loved this book just as much as the first one. It was sweet, spicy, and full of protective, dominant men. I loved watching the development of their relationships. I knew what was coming, but not that heart stopping cliffhanger! I can't wait for book 3!
