This is totally fun. X-men fighting classic movie monsters. Sign me up. Marquez's art is solid and I still love the kids being enamored with the western storytelling back at the house.

Really, more of a 3.5.
Why is no one addressing the fact Elsa Bloodstone is supposed to be basically human, there but for her choker? Why is no one addressing the fact Morbius isn't a typical vampire, and I'm not 100 percent certain that he could turn Jubilee "back" into a vampire if he tried? Why did the writers and editors just give up on translating Kurt's German phrases for us? How is it that a character fought a werewolf, and it never crossed his mind that a werewolf bite might do THE ONE THING THAT WEREWOLF BITES ARE KNOWN FOR?
The mutant kids are hearing a story in which they appear to be characters. And despite the Western theme and the fact this --fictional?-- story appears to be set in the past, it is looking increasingly like the characters in the story are actually OUR characters. Jitter referenced "Hawkeye" by name in the story, employing her actual mutant power. Is this a time travel sitch?
