It might fill a gap: end-to-end lakehouse design with a practical example and modern tooling. Good layered approach, covers trade-offs. Not exhaustive enough; strong Dremio bias and JVM centric. More practical/user-facing, not deep in terms of internals of Iceberg but that's not its target either.

Read early access, it can improve for the final release. For now, it seems like promising.

I learned a lot from this book about how enterprises build lakehouses that can handle the complexities of today's data in terms of the three V's (Volume, volatility, and velocity).
The book gave practical examples based on well established architecture that can be a starting point for many architects.

This is a hands-on book filled with real-world examples and a comprehensive case study. Content is presented in a clear, straightforward manner that makes it especially accessible to beginners. The progression of topics is smooth and easy to follow. An excellent resource and a well-executed piece of work.
