Darlene was confined with 1,600 other women and children on the island of Celebes in the Dutch East Indies. The conditions were horrific, the treatment was cruel and many died. But God was there with them; protecting, providing, rescuing and comforting in truly miraculous ways! He was at work as well, in the hearts of the Japanese.

Hope in a Japanese prison camp

This story of Darlene Deibler and her time in a Japanese prison camp during World War II shows the miraculous way God took care of her. She gave hope to fellow prisoners and to the head of the camp. Shows how God sustained her and others who depend on Him.

According to this story all the good things that occurred were the work of God. The bad happenings were not explained.

I searched for the book, Evidence Not Seen, an autobiography of Darlene Deibler Rose but this was the only ebook I could find. It's very short and serves as a synopsis of the story, but not what I had hoped.
