The Wild Hunt #3

All the Devils are Here

Rate this book
I serve the Wild Hunt. I failed the Huntsman once. I will not do so again.

Once. Once in my long, long service to the Huntsman have I failed him, this singular lapse of judgement resulting in Grant, my only turn. I know I should keep Grant at a distance. I know I should tell the Huntsman just how strange a vampire he truly is.

I know I should not fall in love with him.

Only I am failing, again and again and again, and with high fae having spilled through the veil, I have no time to fix my newest mistakes. Not when all the Hunt is pulled in opposite directions and the Huntsman insists—commands—that Grant accompany me to uncover the identity of a high fae who has been killing young vampires just like him.

All I wish is to keep Grant safe. That is all I have ever wanted from the moment I turned him.

I may have failed the Huntsman. I may have failed myself.

I will sacrifice everything I am before I fail Grant, too.

All the Devils are Here is an MM urban fantasy featuring a stoic, fae-blessed vampire and the sunny, troublesome turn he’s hopelessly in love with. It contains steamy scenes and all the violence you might expect from a paranormal romance. This is the third in a six-book series, and each book will feature a different relationship within one overarching plot; it is therefore recommended that these books be read in order.

🌈 MCs:
⚡️🧛🏻✨️👉 Grant Yates, 35 (21), Vampire, He/Him:
✨ Messy dark hair, tanned skin, shorter than Vlad and always dressed like he’s on a summer holiday, breezy shirts and shorts.
☀️ A sunshine with a quicksilver grin and a heart full of warmth.
✨ Sweet, brave, curious, and endlessly kind… a pure light in this dark world (especially for Vlad), which just made my heart melt.
✨ Loves books, sunny days and the beach 🏖.
✨ Turned by Vlad and living at the Wild Hunt’s London base in Kensington, even if he’s not officially part of it.
✨ In control of his vampirism surprisingly early, with an unknown depth of power.
✨ Can sense (and sometimes see) magic.
✨ Shares a rare fae-touched bond with Vlad, stronger and deeper than a normal sire-turn.

✨️👉 Vladimir "Vlad" Munteanu (age unknown), Fae-Blessed Vampire, He/Him:
✨ Tall, pale, elegant (the very image of a classic vampire), long dark hair, pale eyes, sharp cheekbones and a neatly trimmed beard and moustache.
✨ His vampiric magic feels old, heavy with power and history, probably older than Maurice… and that says a lot.
✨ A fae-blessed vampire with ancient, powerful magic.
✨️ A loyal, deadly, devoted and protective member of the Wild Hunt.
✨ Stoic, disciplined, and controlled… until Grant (his like a became of light).
✨ Broke the Huntsman’s strictest rule when he turned Grant, his only turn.

👏 Solid Character Development

🥰 HEA for the MCs & HFN for the Storyline

💭 My Thoughts:
📖 👏 An addictive supernatural read, full of action and intensity and impossible to put down.
☀️ Our sunshine baby vampire finally becoming the badass we all expected!
💫 These two are absolutely perfect for each other. Their bond is powerful, beautiful, and deeply special.
❤️‍🔥 When they finally stop fighting the pull between them and let their insecurities fade, their feelings truly blossom. Watching them open their hearts and trust each other was tender, emotional and full of heat.
🐾 I loved seeing Grant’s friendship with Quinn. Feels so genuine and his admiration for Sam is sweet and relatable. I would love to read about some nights out and shopping with these three... or the whole gang.
🫂 It was so heartwarming to see Grant reconnect with someone from his past, a long-overdue moment he truly needed.
🤌 The final chapter with Lark gives us a glimpse of the next book and left me speechless. No spoilers, just WOW. What a twist and an irresistible setup for the next story.
✨ The found family vibes are strong and I adored every cameo from past books.

▪︎FAV QUOTES▪︎
■ I want his warmth, want to sip the sunbeams from his mouth and give him every opportunity to shine as brightly as that star ever has. *Vlad*

■ “Sure, sure,” Maurice says, amused. “Put your Vladdy on, would you?”
...
Knew that one would come back to bite me, even if it was hilarious at the time. And more a joke on Vlad than me. I was pissed off at him for not telling Maurice about me. *Grant*

■ It might be nice to sit at night and brush his hair. *Grant*

■ “Heal me. I trust you. I know you would never hurt me.” *Vlad to Grant*

💯 I'm definitely going to read this again.
😵‍💫 I’m OBSESSED with this series.

Finally, we get the story of Vlad and Grant!
While nothing is going to knock Njáll and Maurice off first place, I’ve been extremely curious about Vlad and Grant.

All the Devils Are Here is the third book in Alexandra Keillor’s Wild Hunt series, and while every book is giving us a different couple’s HEA, I would recommend reading them in order since there is an overarching plot that we follow.

First of all, Keillor’s worldbuilding is still one of the most amazing things about this series for me. There’s magic, politics, and all the different factions and species! Also, there's so many moving parts, and the interconnected storylines are so satisfying to follow. And the overarching plot keeps moving in ways that feel intentional....so you know, all the good stuff. 😁 Of course, there are also a lot of familiar characters who drift in and out. This only adds to the found family feeling, but unlike in some other books, it never feels like it’s pulling focus away from the current couple or storyline.

But let’s get back to Grant and Vlad… Grant and Vlad finally get their moment, and they feel true to the versions we’ve known from earlier books, but they are also given more depth in this one.
Until now, and for the beginning of the book, their relationship is all intense mutual pining and an angsty slow burn. But when they finally do stop fighting their feelings… oof, the payoff is very satisfying! 😏 Especially as they finally learn to trust each other and let go of old insecurities.
Vlad, who until now was a bit mysterious and a lot distant, shows us he is surprisingly soft and deeply loyal. While Grant grows into a far more complex and powerful character than I expected. But is still sunshine personified, in more ways than one! 😉
The constant push and pull between them goes on for a while here. And while it is not boring, it is very focused on repression, so sometimes it makes the tension feel more draining than delicious. There is a LOT of longing and later a lot of explosive chemistry, but I would have loved more of the softer moments or more intimacy that isn’t only sex. I think that would have been a great balance to the angst.

Outside of the romance, the action is also intense and high stakes, and there is a lot happening, but that is a positive for me. 😁

I loved Grant’s friendship with Quinn, and his budding friendship with Sam, it just felt so natural and warm. I also loved that Grant got a chance to reconnect with someone from his past.
As for Vlad, I hope he will eventually come to realise that other members of the Hunt really are his friends, if not family.
That said, several ongoing mysteries and plot threads are finally expanded on...and I KNEW the Huntsman was plotting !! I'm sooo curious about his story and hopefully we get it. I still don’t forgive him for what he did to Maurice, though. 🤨 😤
Needless to say, the final chapters and epilogue are chef’s kiss, offering us twists and setting up future books in a way that has me impatiently waiting for the next book.

In short, Grant and Vlad’s story is fast paced, emotional, and very invested in its characters. If you’re already following the Wild Hunt series, you don’t need more of a recommendation. And if you’re just now thinking about joining us on this journey…what are you waiting for?!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my unbiased review.

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

I love Alexandra Keillor's worldbuilding! It's amazing, has a ton of moving pieces, and I'm never ever bored! I love that the characters from all the connected series make appearances but are mostly vibes. And my head's still spinning from everything that's happening because I'm still pretty confused about who's who and what's what, despite the "previously" chapter. But I'm ok with that because all the energy I needed was there and the ride was a wild one, even though I had to surrender and just go with it a lot of the time!

That being said, Grant and Vlad's UST was high, but also maybe a bit too much. For me this series has been more of a fantasy read with a bit of romance that feels more frills than substance. And I felt the same in this installment, which could have benefitted from less mental desire-torture and more tangible, physical intimacy (not sex).

Sire and Turn dynamics always skirt that weird icky factor, and while there wasn't any of t h a t in play, there was still the unnecessary air gap that gave nothing when they'd bridged it. Grant acted like a caged, smothered teenager, and Vlad treated him as such…even though they were both crushing/in love with each other from time.

Immortals longing just reads like a wasted opportunity when there's only repression and no teasing glimmers of "I can't wait to put my mouth on bae" achy tension covering it up.

Regardless, the plot went hard, the action was interesting but a bit of a blur, and though there were 9484635287056 instances of people getting kidnapped and then attacked, it was a decent time.

There are still a few books left in this series, and I'm very much looking forward to my personal "goldilocks" installment, where the romance and the plot action serve to enrich each other, in this very interesting world Alexandra Keillor has built! Can't wait!

Finally, Vlad and Grant's story

I've been desperate for this since we first met these two and their story was definitely worth the wait. Yet another couple to fall in love with, alongside more action, intrigue and danger, just like all the other books set in the Monsters of London universe.
There are recurring characters throughout all of the two series and an overarching storyline in each series so it would be much easier to follow if you start from the beginning with Bad Blood.
The storyline follows on from the the previous book, The Enemy to the Living, with the incursion into our world of some of the high fae, and the danger they are causing to humans and supernaturals alike.
Grant is sunshine and a bit of a mystery, even to himself, while Vlad is serious and reserved. We've seen them interact before but here, we get to know them properly. Leaving London this time, on a mission that Vlad didn't want to bring Grant on, the two vampires and Quinn and Asher encounter a formidable foe that they weren't expecting. They also unexpectedly meet someone from Grant's past.
I loved seeing Grant come into his own, and the extent of his power was incredbly magnificent. We've all read vampire stories but Grant truly is something different. Vlad is much older but he still has much to learn when it comes to the only person he's ever turned (and can't fathom why he did) in his long life. There's a lot of emotion on both sides but not too much physical here, but that suited the story.
Seeing other members of the Hunt was good, and I seeing loved Grant and Quinn's friendship growing.
The epilogue, as it usally does with Alexandra's books, had me champing at the bit for the next one. I've been fascinated by this character who has only appeared briefly, but he's one of those bit part players that you just know there's so much more to come from them.

ALL THE DEVILS ARE HERE is the third in The Wild Hunt series, and we finally get Vlad and Grant's story. While fully invested in the others, I really wanted theirs!

And it was worth the wait! Let me tell you!! We find out more about Grant's past and how Vlad came to turn him. We see more of the non-communication and longing on both sides, before circumstances force a move. And we see Grant return to his hometown and bump into family. Not only that, but the overarching story continues with a twist you may or may not have seen coming.

The other Huntsmen are here too, but it is Asher and Quinn who spend the most time with Vlad and Grant in Margate. They are just as cute and funny as they ever were, but I appreciated the scenes with them in them.

Grant is the one who pieces things together, leading to an epilogue that will leave you wanting the next book immediately. The only trouble is, the release date mentioned is summer 2026, so I'm going to have to (im)patiently wait until then.

This series is a spin-off from the Monsters of London series, so there are crossover characters. I would suggest reading both for the fullest enjoyment, or at least the first two in this series. Absolutely brilliant and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

The wait was worth it.

I was looking forward to Grant's and Vlad's story since they first appeared, and I liked how their relationship went about.

Vlad had seemed so mysterious in the other books but he ended up being a big softy. I particularly enjoyed how he said he didn't have friends but he still called other members of the hunt to get their input, and I liked seeing how much he trusted them. I also loved that no matter his position, or his will to serve the Hunt, he still put Grant first every time.

And Grant, he was introduced as a sweet and honest guy, but he ended up being the most mysterious one... his powers were a surprise and I can't wait for him to fully come into them in the future.

I enjoyed seeing their journey, the mutual pining... the soft moments together and finally them coming together was the best.

The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was how Grant's past was told, the short chapters going backwards in time felt a bit choppy to me and left me puzzled. I did like the information we got from them but not the way that information was delivered.

I wonder when we'll get the Huntsman's story. Up next is Lark's and Dante's story; and that last bit about Lark at the end... I was not expecting that.

POV: dual (with an epilogue with the next book's main character pov)
tropes: grumpy/sunshine, vampire/vampire, mutual pining, only one bed, fated mates, medium burn romance.
Spice: low ( a couple short detailed scenes)
CW: violence, death, scenes of a past car crash.

ARC copy thanks to author.

To confirm I really love this author. I’ve read all their books. The first series - Monsters of London - improved massively each book as in writing style. Plus the plot was really good. This series - The Wild Hunt - has been excellent. The characters are well developed and the overarching plot is fantastic, each book takes us further forward and gives us more to work towards.

I’ve been intrigued by Grant since we were first introduced. I wanted more info on his backstory, plus seeing how he was going to wrangle Vlad! I’m not a fan of excessive flashbacks, which is how we get his background. But that’s a me thing, nothing wrong with the author choosing this as the method.

Now Vlad… urgh, so much waffling away, I want Grant but I can’t have Grant, he’s my progeny, I’m meant to be devoted to the Hunt, blah blah blah. We all know that he’s going to end up with Grant whilst they make cow eyes at each other in the meantime. They obviously do get together but it’s not speedy and from a sexy front it’s not a huge no. of scenes as a result. That’s fine by me though as I’m not into high spice right now.

On the plot front, it’s great, well developed and interesting. It kept me on my toes and I’m super intrigued for our next book.

I received this as an ARC from gayromancereviews.com but as I’ve been following this author and series I would have read it anyway. So my review is honest and my own.

Vladamir serves the Wild Hunt. He has only made one mistake in all the years and that resulted in him turning Grant. He knows he should not get involved with Grant. He also knows that something is happening and he does not need any distractions. Some high fae have slipped in through a tear and one of them has been killing young vampires just like Grant. Vlad knows he will do anything to keep Grant safe, but is that possible with Grant accompanying him to Margate to find the high fae causing problems there. Another possible problem is that Margate is Grant’s home town.

These two together were enough to slowly burn though the pages as neither one wanted to address their feelings for each other. The action gradually increases as they face some terrifyingly strong opponents. Many of their friends return to help out and what a delight it is to see them again, some from this series and some from Monsters of London. Grant turned out to an intriguing vampire with unknown but very strong powers. These two series are absolutely brilliant. Start with Monsters of London or start with this series but do start as they are clever and captivating.

*I got an arc*

CW: at the end of the book

Finally Vlad & Grant's book!

Vlad & Grant are at a bit of an impasse: Vlad keeps shutting Grant out and treating him like a child while Grant thinks he *maybe* has feelings of a romantic sort for Vlad. And also there are some fae who have invaded this realm and the Huntsman seems to know more about it than he's letting on??

Many years later, Vlad is still unsure why he turned Grant and is absolutely petrified thinking of the Huntsman harming him in any way. However, when the Huntman needs someone to go undercover, Grant fits the bill... and it's in the hometown he hasn't been to since he was turned ~20 years ago. Can Grant save the day *and* convince Vlad they're meant to be together?

***

I am a sucker for this series (and the Shakespearean titles!). The series has a good mix of angst, sass, and plot with well-developed characters. There are also women with their own personalities and lives outside the main plot which is excellent (and unfortunately rare in MM fantasy). I reccomend reading both series in order as there are a lot of characters to keep track of (and I swear there was a Vlad novella that came out before this series but for the life of me I can't find it!).

Grant & Vlad’s story has been highly anticipated since we were first introduced to them and it is so worth the wait! Not only did they both feel consistent to what we previously know about them but I love that we get even more about them in this book. Appreciate that they were all in and not about wasting any more time.

As for rest of the book, again love this fun kind of buddy cop series where we get a romance and a big bad that fits into an overarching plot. Appreciated the cameos of previous characters but also interesting new characters! Loved the new setting and journey outside of London. And felt like this one definitely filled in the gaps on a few plot points and provided additional characterization and insights for some more mysterious characters.

Overall a solid additional to the series that is criminally underrated and never misses! Quick and fun read that i’ll definitely return again and again.

AND THAT EPILOGUE!? I can’t wait!

"All the Devils are Here" is the third in Alexandra Keillor's The Wild Hunt series. Definitely not a standalone, I had to go back to book two. Once or twice. Knowing this universe helps, the reader should read "The Monsters of London" series first. It'll help.
Vlad and Grant have an interesting, very torturous Sire/Child relationship. High angst alert. Vlad considers turning Grant a mistake, and they have a push-away-pull-back energy that is, honestly, quite exhausting. Crushing on each other, pining for each other. Rinse. Repeat.
I knew that Vlad was stubborn since book one. "Devils" does fill in some of the questions left over. And brings Vlad and Grant to a HEA. Sort of. More than a HFN, but closer to HEA. And there's always twists and new plot arcs to test them. I swear that Ms Keillor really enjoys torturing her MCs.
This is an absorbing, intricate and sometimes confusing, series. I love Ms Keillor's style of writing. And this would probably be my favorite story of hers, but Lucian and Kieran and "Monsters"will always take that honor.
I received an advanced copy of this ebook and this is my review.

Yes! It's finally time for Grant and Vlad's story. We've met them in previous books and I always felt like there was something there. I really enjoyed the little snippets of the night Vlad turned Grant, it tied in with the story so well, and shed light on an important event.
As we've come to expect, the overarching plot is still present, and each book just builds on previous books, while also bringing new information and knowledge.
I really enjoyed Grant and Vlad together and how their story played out. They have history, but I still would have enjoyed more time of them cementing their relationship, but the plot felt more important. The book was action-packed and fast paced while also having sweet and swoony moments between the main characters.

If you're looking for a grumpy/sunshine duo, both characters being vampires, an ever expanding found family, heat and an overarching plot then this is the book for you.

It's clear this author has given careful thought to the world building in this series as there are many interconnected beings and plots and things always fit together like they should while still leaving plenty of questions for the coming books in the series and plenty of twists and turns. The fae and vampires have familiar characteristics from other books I've read but plenty of differences as well that keep me interested and wondering what will be revealed next in their powers. I never expected Grant to turn out to be as formidable as he's becoming but I loved the way that impacted his and Vlad's relationship. Can't wait to read the next book.

All the Devils are Here is the third book in the The Wild Hunt series. This series is best read in order because of an overarching plot. This is the story of Vlad and Grant both vampires. Another great story in the series. It was wonderful getting to know more about Vlad and Grant. They are perfect for each other. I loved the cameos of the characters from the other books. I was happy to get some of my questions answered. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

This is the third book in the Wild Hunt series. I loved Vlad and Grant! They finally admit that they have feelings for each other. The book is filled with drama as they try to capture a high fae. An important part of the story is Grants changing powers.

There is a lot of world building and interactions with other members of The Hunt. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the telling of Grant’s past in small interspersed chapters. It was a little confusing and kind of broke the flow.

Regardless, I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to the next story.

Vlad and Grant's story has been building for a while, and I was excited to finally get it. I loved seeing them finally tackle their feelings that V;lad especially had been ignoring and realize what they truly are to each other. I loved seeing Grant come into his own and truly discover his power, and Vlad allowing him to do so. The plot was also very interesting and it definitely built up and kept me wanting more. I can't wait to see where it goes from there.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to the Wild Hunt Series, a spin-off from Alexandra’s Monsters of London Series. I was hooked from page one and enjoyed getting to re-immerse myself in this magical world that Alexandra has created. I’m glad that Grant and Vlad finally told each other how they feel, as it’s been over a decade in the making. Wow, Grant’s powers are definitely unique and he’s bloody strong, he just needs to believe in himself a bit more but I don’t blame him for being wary of his power,

Considering what harm it could do to another vampire. I’m looking forward to seeing the Wild Hunt pack/clan/family strengthen as the series continues, as they seem to be getting closer each book now they’re allowing the others in. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues, as well as more books from Alexandra Keillor in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to others.
