Every time I read a book from Maison do Loup, I fall more and more in love with her writing!! And this one was just another feather in her cap that was so incredible to read! I adored every second of this book!! Cordelya was such a great character, and I loved getting to see her grow into her own strength! The way she opened herself up to friends and a home and love, despite the trauma of her past, was truly a wonderful path to watch bloom! And Augustus has skyrocketed to the top of my book boyfriends list, particularly for vampire boyfriends! He was so amazing how he just effortlessly stepped up to help and support Cordelya, while pushing for his own health! I just ordered these two, and how beautifully and seamlessly they fell together! And all the amazing side characters we got to see made the whole story so much more rich and beautiful! Overall, I loved this one so much, and it just cements my love for cozy paranomal romances!! 5 stars; 2.75 chili peppers

“Thank you, Moonlight,” I murmur, placing a kiss to her forehead.
She turns her head to me, confusion on her face. “For what?” “Trusting me with your body. Trusting me to take care of you.”

It gave me exactly what I needed from a novel. Excellent storytelling. Characters that you cannot help but to love. Remaining spoiler free as always… but trust me on this one! It kicks ass. (Note the CW tho if you have known triggers but don’t see them as spoilers)

My heart clenches painfully. Since the moment I saw the damage to Auggie’s house, I knew I had to leave. It was what finally broke the dam of tears. I knew better than to get attached. Not even attached. To fall in love.

I am at the point where I know I will devour anything by Maison De Loup and this book is no different. I fall in love with Ravens Hallow with each book that’s written in this cute little town!

Cordelya has such a strength that most people don’t have in her situation and it was fantastic watching her heal little by little with learning to trust again, which is not easy in the slightest. Augustus is that rock that everyone needs in their life and I loved watching him be a little selfish when he isn’t normally. By the end of chapter two I was already kicking my feet giggling at these two. Where there certain people that I wanted to punch in the face a time or two…definitely, there was definitely one.

Thank you so much to the author for this ARC and I can’t wait to see what else is next!

I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.

First this book was absolutely adorable! I loved both characters and their personalities. A vampire who hates and can’t stomach blood was intriguing to me. An fmc who is running. Sign me up immediately. It was well written. Aside from the obvious danger lurking in the background this was a very fun read. I loved the banter and quick moving storyline. The fun things happening in the book made the plot pretty interesting. I can’t wait to read the other characters stories now either. Because the friendships and found family between them was awesome. Everyone was always willing to jump in and help. All in all this was a great read and definitely worth picking up!

ARC review!

This book checked so many boxes for me! Fated Mates, supernatural romance, Halloween themed...I could go on! Cordelya is trying to escape something with her fur babies and Augustus immediately makes her feel at ease. She is a strong and relatable FMC. Augustus is the perfect MMC; his immediate protectiveness over Cordelya, the way he can read her like a book, he's just in it to give his mate everything she wants and more. Fangs & First Aid is the perfect mix of supernatural suspense, cozy small-town vibes, and a romance that will leave you swooning. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Cordelya story of strength and resilience is beautiful and how she is willingly able to still love and trust. She is running from past trauma and isn’t looking for any kind of connection. She finds it all and more in this small town.

Augustus is so patient with Cordelya. He really understands her process of doing things. Augustus loves big. He is there for his entire community.

I couldn’t put this book down. I loved both characters and their friends. They are perfect for each other and love so deeply.

A vampire who can't stand the smell of blood and the woman who doubles or triple checks every door and window is locked. Augustus is the quiet strength that Cordelya never knew she could rely on. Slowly, bit by bit, his gentle manner brings her fear into the realm of caution. And when evil jumps out of the darkness, she knows that Augustus will be the one she can count on.

Honestly don’t remember signing up for an ARC of this book, but I’m so glad it hit my inbox.

Such a cute quick read, didn’t give it a 5 because the vampire MMC gave off more human than paranormal.
But other than that there was just enough of everything to make this one enjoyable.
