Sparrow Bones Latticed With Sky

Veridia is a marvel of architectural perfection—a city of gleaming spires and placid citizens, engineered to be free of pain. But the city’s peace is a lie, maintained by burying its traumatic history deep beneath the earth.

Elara is a Rememberer, cursed with the ability to physically feel the city’s forgotten sorrows. But her gift has turned into a death sentence. She has contracted the "Glass Weather"—a terrifying affliction where the city's suppressed memories manifest as spreading frost and crystal upon her skin, slowly turning her into a living statue.

Desperate for a cure, Elara allies with Kael, a renegade cartographer who maps the city’s invisible emotional currents. Together, they follow the trail of a dead architect into the subterranean depths of the Citadel. There, they discover the horrific truth powering Veridia’s a machine that harvests human souls to act as living prisons for the city’s grief.

Worse, Elara discovers she isn’t just a victim of the system—she was bred to be its next sacrifice.

With the crystal encroaching on her heart and a fanatical cult hunting them down, Elara faces an impossible submit to the machine to save the city from chaos, or shatter the silence and force Veridia to face a storm of memories that could tear it apart.
