White Noise: An Opposites Attract Rock Star Romance That Will Wreck You

Rate this book
He was chaos in human form. She was the quiet that made him whole. But the music industry devours everything—even love.

Lennox Wolfe didn't mean to become Saint—the tattooed, pierced frontman of Britain's hottest rock band. He just needed the noise loud enough to drown out a childhood of abandonment and a head that never stopped spinning.

Then Clara Quinn walked into a photoshoot with her camera and her carefully guarded heart, completely immune to his rockstar charm. She didn't want the spotlight. She didn't want the chaos. She didn't want him.

Until she did.

What starts as creative collision becomes everything—stolen moments between soundchecks, post-it notes hidden in tour bags, a love so consuming it gets written into every lyric. Clara becomes his quiet space. His anchor. The only person who sees past Saint to the broken boy underneath.

But fame is a hungry machine. As the pressure mounts and the band fractures, Lennox is pulled in every direction—by label demands, crumbling friendships, and a world that wants to consume him whole.

When Clara needs him most, he makes a choice that will haunt him forever.

Just a few hours. I'll be right behind you.

Some promises can't be kept. Some nights change everything. And some silences are louder than any scream.

White Noise is Book 1 in the Saint's Sinners duet—a raw, emotional rock star romance that will wreck you. This is a deeply angsty love story with a devastating twist, endig on a cliffhanger. The story continues in Book 2.

Content Parental abandonment, depression, substance abuse, casual sexual content, explicit language, and themes of profound loss. For readers who love emotionally intense romance that doesn't shy away from the darkness.

About the author

Maddie Vale writes swoon-worthy, emotionally intense romance with all the feels—where love is messy, healing is hard, and no one escapes without a little heartbreak. Whether it’s backstage with a broken rockstar or in the quiet corners of a small town, her stories are about imperfect people finding connection when they least expect it.
Her debut rockstar romance duet White Noise and Encore for the Damned follows the rise and fall of a band that changed the world—and the love stories that nearly broke them. When she’s not writing, Maddie is curating character playlists like her life depends on it, stress-buying throw pillows, pretending her plants aren’t dying, or crying over fictional breakups she caused herself.

Just wow. This book was a wild ride with thrilling highs and devastating lows. Watching their band rise to fame was exciting yet heartbreaking as each band member spiraled. It offers a brutally honest look into the music industry, showing how it takes something so raw and beautiful and stuffs it into a tiny, perfect package to sell.

Sparks were flying when Lennox and Clara met. I loved how she was completely indifferent to his fake persona. Clara has a confidence that just draws you in, and Lennox is an anxious ball of energy that sets you on edge. Together, they create this calming balance—she's the quiet in all his noise.

This was truly an intense and emotional ride. I knew this story would be deep but didn't realize how much it would affect me. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I really enjoyed White Noise. This was my first music romance and it did not disappoint. Maddie did a great job of sharing Len's past as we as how the band become a band. Not to give too much away but bring some tissues because you are going to not only fall in love with our main male character but his grandmother, his love interest, and his manager. This does end on sort of a cliffhanger so be prepared. It's a heart-wrenching read but well worth the page turns.

This book left me speechless. What a ride. The ups and downs were so real. And being in my favorite genre, "Rockstar". The love between Lennox and Clara, and how Clara took care of them all, was beautiful. And I know what Len was going through, because I went through it also. All I can say is READ THIS BOOK, cannot was for the next volume. Thank you BookSprout for the advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
