I received ARC in return for an honest review

ok I just knew from reading all the blurbs that this book would awesome and I was so wrong, IT WAS AMAZING. OMG Silas is sexy hot. I really don't know where to start.
We have Starr who is a strong, classy girl with a dirty sexy side. Starr was on her way to Marrying the love of her life, Brax but one piece of paper changed all that. 2 years later Starr has moved on, she working with her unique best friend Angie as a teacher, which is what she's always wanted to do. life was good, yeah she was lonely but with her favorite author to read it didn't bother her much. Starr loved erotic romances, especially ones written by her favorite author S.I.R, but his latest book sucked, it sucked so bad she had to write a review for her blog page. but the author himself reads this bad review and is intrigued by why Starr feels this book was so bad to a point that he contact her himself something he doesn't do, cause Silas"S.I.R" likes to be kept private, especially ever since his heart was broken, he doesn't trust easily and has swore to never fall in love. Silas contacts Starr through email regarding her review, this is were their friendship starts, it leads to texts, calling to even flirting, but where Silas likes to stay anonymous She has no ideal what his face looks like, but that doesn't matter cause she loves how he makes her feel to the point she's decided she can't wait to see him, to be with him that she agrees to meet on his terms, his way. They decide to meet and OMG it's explosive, you feel how he makes her feel with every word on every page and that fact he has a sexy dirty talking mouth well that's just a bonus. The next day Starr realizes that she will never forget him or that night, so while heading home she runs into Brax and they have words . 6 months has passed and no contact has been made, Starr can't get Silas to return calls, text or anything and then again a piece of paper changes everything and the person you thought you knew, you really don't know at all. this book is awesome I can't really say enough about this book except it wasn't long enough, I need more. This is going to be an amazing story with amazing characters. I loved it.

Wow!!! Samantha, not only did you blow me away with the Savannah series but you did it again with S.I.R. This one was so amazing I finished it in one sitting in less than 3 hours. I couldn't wait to get to the end and when it ended I didn't want it to. Now I’m dying to find out what will happen in book 2. Keep doing what we love. You ROCK!!! <3

Two parts I came undone but loved every word!!!

"Fine, I am so fucked over this chick. I can't fucking write, I can't ride. All I want to do is lock myself in my house and get off, just thinking about her. I've got to stop talking to her. I don't do this feeling bullshit, and I sure as fuck don't think about them after I've had them. She is so far in me. I don't think I will ever be rid of her." ~ Silas

"I stood under the spray and let the water fill my mouth. I wanted to cleanse myself of his touch. Of his mouth on mine. I wanted to wash it all away, but it was too late. He was in me. I close my eyes and picture him for the hundredth time since that night. The way my body bent to his every beck and call. The way he made me feel, how he tore down every single wall I had built since Brax. Then he took the stones and threw them at me." ~ Starr

OMG! I have been waiting to get my hands on this so when I got an ARC, I dropped what I was reading and immediately dug in! So glad I did! I was sucked in right from the start. Strong characters and an interesting storyline keep you completely absorbed. Before you know what's happened, the pages will have disappeared leaving you needing more!

Silas is a hot and dirty romance writer. He unapologetically enjoys women, of course they enjoy him just as much, if not more. So it's no wonder his books have made the best sellers list five times, right? I mean practice makes perfect and there's no better research than hands on!

Starr (love the name btw), is a strong woman who knows what she wants, or doesn't want. Being an English teacher, she loves to read. After being left at the altar her romance days are behind her except in her books. Her favorite author is S.I.R. and when they beginning talking online, she may just want to rethink her no romance idea! (I know I would)(;

I would like to say thank you to the author for providing me with an arc copy to review. What I would like to mention is the arc I reviewed was in its rawest state. There was a message in the front of the arc saying that book would be going to be re-edited. Thank God for that because it was littered with grammar and spelling errors. I do hope that she has a good editor to tidy it up before publishing. My 4* is for the story and the characters but if this was a paid for book, presented in this raw form, my star rating would be a lot lower!

Ok, I just wanted to get that off my chest!

Now onto my review lol. This is a very interesting story. Basically a blogger gives a scathing review on a book and the author makes contact. They then embark on a flirtatious phone friendship which progresses to an actual meet.

Ms Knight has woven a mystery around S.I.R. He's a private man. Stays under the Press radar although it doesn't stop him going to strip joints and picking up women to shag. He has certain conditions before he meets Starr. I know I shouldn't have, but instead of feeling the intensity of the first meeting, I was having a chuckle at the thought of Silas in a Zorro mask! Oh yeh, S.I.R did reveal his name was Silas Rand.

Silas and Starr spent a very intense night together where Starr had a mind blowing 9 orgasms! (Maybe Silas isn't Zorro but Superman!) The sex scenes were typically written and probably would have been sexier to me if the amount of orgasms was more obtainable to the normal man!

Starr had been dumped in the past the worst possible way I think. She wasn't looking for love but she fell hard for the man in the mask. But she mentioned that, fell asleep, woke up and he was gone.

One tip I would give the author would be to write the men with a more male vernacular. You couldn't really get a grip on Silas or his brother through the way they spoke.

The ending of the book made me want to reach out to Starr. It would have been heartbreaking to her and I though that bordered on the nasty side to do that to her. I have a bit of a soft spot for nice girls who get caught up with bastards and are treated badly and I felt like Silas should have had a bit of a discussion with Starr before this thing that happened. But as we all know, us men don't really think things through all the time!!

I enjoyed this book, hence the 4 stars and I hope it's not long before the next book comes out as it was left on a cliffy. 100% kudos to Ms Knight for coming up with, what I thought, was an original idea.

Starr has isolated herself for the last three years. She goes to work and then home. After being left at the alter, she has given up on love. She lives in a huge house but spends most of her time in the attic reading and she has her own book blog she shares her reviews with her followers. After reading a book by her favorite author, SIR, she is very disappointed with the read and gives the book a bad review, honest, but bad.

Silas hasn't been in a relationship for a long time, not after Kinley. The hurt he endured completely ruined him for love, he doesn't think it exists in the real world for him. The only love Silas has is in his books. He's an author, a very renowned author, but no one knows Silas' pen name, SIR.

After reading Starr's review of his book, he wants to know why she didn't like it and decides he will ask her.

Shocked was Starr's reaction to the email she just received from SIR. SIR is wanting to know why such a bad review. Starr answers SIR, with the honesty she has always given to anyone who asks for her opinion.

After emailing and texting each other, they learn they like the easy banter they have with each other. They laugh, flirt and become companions. When they decide they both would like to meet the other, Starr goes to meet Silas and their mutual understanding is, this is for one night. But when their night ends, both feel a pull to the other and don't want it to end with one night.

Then someone decides to help a friend and both of their worlds come crashing down around them.

Having your heart broken has a way of changing you, hardening you but when your heart is shattered into pieces you feel like you can never put back together...it makes you never want to love again. This was the case for Starr & Silas.

I was hooked on this book from the first page! Who couldn't relate to crushing a bit on their favorite authors? That's where the whole fangirl thing comes in right? Well in Starr's case her favorite is a man who writes erotica and one honest review and chance email changes both of their lives and maybe even how they feel about love.

Silas is a mystery to everyone and that is the way he intends to keep it. He likes his anonymity and being the man behind those best sellers who stays out of the limelight, free to live his life his way. Until Starr comes a long and for the first time makes him question everything.

One night. That is what they agreed to, but on the condition that he would wear a mask and she would never see his face. That one night changed it all and they both realized this was much more than working the other out their system. With that realization brings on the disappearance of Silas and Starr feeling abandoned once again. This ends on one heck of a cliffhanger because Starr finds out just what..or who Silas has been up to. I can't wait for the next installment.

I was given an ARC in exchange for a completely honest review.
This is definitely a talented author. I really enjoy the book. This is a major cliff hanger. As in the story ends in the middle. I am ok with some cliffhangers, but am not a huge fan of books that stop dead in the middle of the story though. This could have easily been a complete story with a cliffhanger that leads into a separate yet continued story.
Starr is a typically bitter woman who was abandoned literally at the alter, with a note no less. Star is in my opinion a likable character. She has sworn off love, dating, even socializing. Until she leaves a review for her favorite author about what a crap filled book his latest work is.....
SIR (Silas) was hurt well beyond a love that ended bad. I am not a fan of this character. I am not entirely sure how to put into words what his flaws are without spoilers. But the whole wham, bam, not even a thank you M'am thing is a little over for a character that then on the other side is so endearing, that a severely scarred woman falls for him.

Silas and Starr are closed off from love, having been burned by the person they had or were to pledge their undying love to. After years of being alone they find each other in an unconventional way and get one night where they both wished for more. While one fights it the other wallows in the realization that she never had a chance of getting it...yet again.
Love! Love! Love this book! So Starr, a blogger meets her fave. author and sparks fly. Don't you wish that were really true! Yeah a girl can dream. Any way this book was every romance reader and bloggers dream come true. Passion, funny banter from all the character in the book. I love Angie and Rhys they bring out the best in Silas and Starr. Now, this book ends in a cliffer that will have you more than pissed. But I know that Samantha won't keep us in the dark or long. Because after all the Bloggers living out there dreams of capturing the sexy author will be begging for more of their story. Yeah I am putting up my hand I wan't more!
Lies all men lie! I hope Silas knows what he is doing. I can't wait for S.I.R 2!!!

Good book which I read in one sitting, loved the characters in this book, the secrecy and the banter between was great. Also felt the tension and I was willing them both on.
S.I.R is a writer of erotic romance, which his biggest fan happens to be Starr who runs a book blog and rates books, one of them being the latest one by S.I.R. She gives an honest review, which is a bad review and he emails her to ask why she felt it only deserved the 1 star she gave it. Thus they start up an internet relationship of sorts which progresses to texting and phoning each other. It continues from there and you really must read this to find out all about them.
They have both been hurt in previous relationships, so are very wary. be warned this book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger but the next book is already out, and i will be reading it !!

So this is a new author for me. S.I.R. is the first book I have read of hers. If her other books are anything like this, I am going to need some meds to calm me down. I just fell in love with this book! I really love Starr! I really relate to her. Falling in love, then got dumbed and no longer believing in love. Then is contacted by her favorite author, and they get one night tonight together.
Everything explodes for both of them that night, and neither one of them are the same again. I highly recommend this book to anyone needs a great book, and a quick read! I love it, and now I am off to read her other books!!

Where do I begin...... first WOW FREAKING HOT!

I received an E-Copy of this book for an honest review.

Silas and Starr no longer believe in love. He's a hot erotic romance writer while Starr teaches high school. After a chance online meeting, they begin a hot, steamy relationship. Can they find that love is real or will their stubbornness tear them apart?

Silas is a hot, dirty talker that can make you blush is parts that you didn't know blushed! And Starr is a perfect match for him. I love that she stands on her own and doesn't take crap. Can't wait for book 2! NEED MORE SILAS!
