Victorian Age Play Erotica. I think it was a bit too much for my taste.

Penelope (who goes by the name Pip in the pretense of being a boy) lives as a pickpocket and has been surviving on her own for years. When she finds a wealthy man alone on the streets, he becomes her next target. But her plans take a sudden turn as she quickly finds herself in the hands of Lord Alex Evers, a man who would alter her life forever.
Alex has been spending all his life searching for a "little one" for him to love, cherish and to dominate. Years of loveless encounter with women and he still hasn't found a woman who would fully submit to him. Who would have thought that one night on the streets of London was all it took for him finally find her?
Despite the feisty lass' futile attempts to escape him as he caught her, nothing was stopping him from making her his and taking her to where she rightfully belongs. She would be his little one, he would make her submit to him in every way possible and he would never let her go.
Ms. Zoe Blake never disappoints when it comes to Victorian Age-play Erotic romance. I simply loved this book. I adore the characters and the plot itself and the writing is as breathtaking as ever. Penelope's strength and willingness to fight and her sassy mouth and feisty attitude were what made her a lot different compared to Emmie and Lily from the two previous books in the series. As usual, there were lots of smexin' anal play, spanking and domestic discipline in this book and I loved every detailed scenes of Penelope's punishment and submission.
The only thing that made me not rate this book 5 stars is that the scene towards the end was a bit abrupt. I wasn't fully satisfied with how this book ended, but it was still indeed an entertaining read. In my honest opinion, Ms. Zoe Blake is what every Age-Play authors out there shall aspire to be. Just simply outstanding. And I hope there's a next book in the series.

2.5 Papa's Naughty Little Girl Stars
This is my first book by Zoe Blake and a first on strong Age Play Erotica although I have read several books like Uncle Dominic's Touch & Uncle Ed's Lap which touched on this subject mildly. I was....umm.... I didn't know what the hell I was supposed to feel! Nurseries, milk bottles, child like dresses custom made for the Heroine along with glass dildos, anal plugs and lubrication to calling her lover/husband Papa, having a personal nanny??!!
Yes, this book got me confused on what I was meant to feel on this plot and subject. At first I found the whole sexual Papa - little girl age play scenario offensive and yuk. So I shelved this book not expecting to give it a try almost after an year.
Initially, I couldn't get my head around it. The writing was clear and engaging and their POVs were synced in. However, I thought that the Female leads were deliberately made whiny & childlike to fit in the age play scenario & I kept picturing this..
But reading into the story I got a bit of..
And..
A bit unrealistic an over the top at times simillar to Alexa Riley's reads but not very descriptive when it comes to the actual scene.
Be warned there's abit of girl on girl and a threesome scene by secondary characters!
I would like to say I'm converted but my comfort zone was stretched a bit & might need more encouragement on this subject so I look forward to reading other works off Ms. Blake.

I have got to rate this book 4-5 stars because it is such a sexy, age-play romance and it appealed to my "inner-little." It has many of the things I love in a smexy book. Let me try to explain...
First, the main heroine, Penelope, is such a feisty girl so there is no lay down submissive in this book. She fights being dominated and boy does she pay for her spirited nature. To me that kind of feisty nature is just pure fun to read. It makes the conquest so much better when the dom has to work for his reward. ...and H/h are rewarded...like multiple times.
Second, the writing and story are just plain good. (Just like Cinderella, but different.) If you haven't read one of Zoe Blake's books, this is a good one. She has the ability to bring the heat and at the same time tell a romantic story that makes you cheer for a HEA ending. Two thumbs up Zoe!
Third, you will love this book if you enjoy reading about

Of all three of these books (Submission: A Dark Daddy Dom Romance and Disciplined: A Dark Daddy Dom Romance are the other two), this one is (comparatively) the least harsh since it's a bit more consensual and the H is not as psychotic (the other two really engage in torture). In addition, he really does seem to care about Penelope in a way the other two "heroes" don't care for their "little girls." If you like pure erotica.

Well, what can I say? It's incredible hot if this is your kind of thing. I liked Lily's book (Disciplining the Maid) better, but that's mainly because I prefer the papa being the only one doting the punishments. Some scenes felt cut, but overall is a nice contender for this genre. The author is not afraid to write as harsh as it's necessary and that gives her an edge. Hope the quality keeps getting better and better.
And I can't help but think this is how ageplay should be written.

Right, so I found this one thinking it was a standalone and had no idea it was third in a series. Granted, it's porn, so I don't really need to know much backstory to grab the plot. Pickpocket gets caught, check. Lord Earl Something gives her a spanking, check. I was there for some flavor of Eliza Doolittle hooks up with a rich gent and gets spankings.
The thing is, it took me 'til Chapter 6 to realize this one revolved around ddlg/age play kink, when Earl Something mused on how his lucky friends already have their little one subs tucked away in their cozy nursery rooms, newly installed next to their master bedrooms. I bounced then. I'm super glad kinky books are out there catering to everyone's kink, but I'd already been working to power through Earl Something (and his deviant butler) with his laissez-faire approach to the idea that enslaving a street kid is totally fine because Earl Something caught her doing CRIME and also who's going to tell him no, and totally don't pay any attention to fact he just ruined someone playing cards and are you sure you did that honestly, sir?
I care neither for noncon nor hypocrisy so I was thrilled when Pip immediately escaped Earl Something's house, and I'm not looking forward to seeing how exactly Earl Something sets the criminal underworld to track down a street kid and shove her back into enslavement, so that half a book later she can be cooing over orgasms whilst clutching stuffed dollies, in a way that reads as deeply unsexy to me. Not my kink, sorry. DNF.
Some googling after the fact leads to the knowledge this book was also rebranded. Originally a Zoe Blake book, Penelope's Punishment, third in the A Little Submission series (2014); now a Sasha Byrne book, Punished, third in the Daddy's Little Virgin series (2019). And yeah, Victorian age play is its thing (and spanking and I guess also anal and enemas, but I didn't far enough to confirm that).
So yeah do publication research before making any purchases by the author. I stress there was NO indication anywhere in my copy that it was part of a series, and I feel the kink particulars here were undersold, and this author seems to make a habit of rebranding without being clear about that.
EDIT I peeked at the epilogue, and there's also pet play! ...how does that work in this context? Is that like a sister role, subordinate to a caretaker kink? I would think that 'little girl' and 'pet' would be too differently distinct to overlap, but what do I know? (my god I should research)

This is very good smut. Age-play. BDSM. Toys. I came across this when I was getting into Zoe Blake's Ward series and was looking at her backlist. I was very excited to see she had written historical erotic smut because she showed she could do it well in her Ward series.
While Blake's contemporary works haven't captured me as much, Blake does some of the best historical erotica. I think this and Elle Jamey's Tales of Ownership are some of the stronger erotic works I've read this year so far. Although, because strictly smut, there is no plot so you might find yourself wandering or really into it, depending on your mood.

One of my favorite re-reads!
Sexy, a little dark, and fantastically engaging. Although, as much as I love Penelope, I must admit my favorite scene is actually in the epilogue when we get a peek at Emmie and her Papa... so dirty and SOOOOOO HOT!

What a fast past to the point book. I have read Zoe Blakes books before and I must sat this one was just not my cup of tea. I am just not into the Daddy/child kind of Dominate and Submissiveness. It was a good story all in all.

Loved it, hungry for something new from this author
I read all 3 of her books in this genre, one right after another in the course of a week. Characters from her earlier works, Disciplining the Maid and The Submission of Little Emma appear in this book. It combines two highly charged erotic elements for me, Age play D/s and Victorian lifestyle. Not everyone will relate to the age-play dynamic, because in the real world of safe/sane/players it is consensual and negotiated. However, if you get the concept and you love historical Victorian settings...you will not be able to put the book down. I have but one critique in that the book feels like she was writing all 3 at the same time with some duplication. However, they are different enough to make the book fully enjoyable. If only...I had another to read.

This is the continuation of a series by Zoe Blake. The first was the Submission of Little Emmie and the second was Disciplining the Maid. They all involve the submission of these women into becoming little girls for their papas. Penelope is living on the streets when she is brought to Alex’s home. Alex is actually Lord Alex Evers. He has been looking for a little girl like his friends have found. Penelope is quickly dropped into a situation that she had no idea was coming. But, she likes becoming his little girl and eventually submits to him. If you like ageplay, Zoe Blake is the author for you! I give this 5 stars.

Firstly if you are looking for light, consensual and fluffy BDSM or domestic discipline this is not your book nor is Zoe Blake your author. She unapologetically writes the good stuff - this is harsher, a little less "lovey dove" and comes with edge of consent features. There is almost always some form of medical play, enema, punishments that are not limited to hand spanking, and various other forms of discipline for the lady in question. I'd class these are moderate at best (but if you like more fluffy "spank me baby" type discipline this is going to be too harsh for you). I've eagerly read all of her books that I can find and cannot wait for more!

Penelope has been surving on her own dressed as the boy Pip but her luck is running out and she ends up catching Lord Alex Ever's eye. He seems to have found something he didn't even know he was looking for. She is just what he wants. But Penelope doesn't trust what is happening and it takes time for Alex to get her back where she belongs. But we get to watch her struggle with her own awareness and understanding of what is really being offered to her.

Zoe Blake's third book is my favorite so far. Possibly because Penelope is a a stronger person than the previous heroines. I really dislike when the women are complete unrealistic bubble heads or doormats. That's not the case here.

When your looking for a good short read this would be it, I think I've read all of Zoe Blake books and she writes them very well.....there is punishments, spanking,and an Alpha males who will not put up or give you break if you mess up, but he loves you like crazy....

I really enjoy reading Zoe Blake's books on age play, having read a few of her books. This theme is not a regular thing I read, but I do like her style of writing.
