This book y’all short but the tension, the yearning …..🥵
This story centers around Jordan and Olivia. They both are in this same group of friends together. Olivia our FMC is married to Aaron Mr lovey dovey and the safe bet. Jordan our MMC is single and has been PINNING for Olivia for a long time.
Stolen glances, spicy texts, and a trip to none other than sim city set the stage for them to finally see what’s going to happen.
You won’t see the twist coming!
Overall this was another 5⭐️ read for me and I’d say 2🌶️
If you haven’t read any of DeAndre’s books I highly recommend any and all of them!

I’m not going to lie—throughout most of this book, I was sitting comfortably at about a 4-star rating. It was engaging, well-paced, and definitely entertaining, but I wasn’t fully hooked yet. And then Deandre hit me with that final chapter. That last chapter changed everything for me. The emotional payoff, the tension, the way all the threads came together—it elevated the entire story and pulled my rating up without hesitation. Deandre absolutely redeemed himself and then some.
This book centers around a forbidden romance with a cheating trope, and normally, that alone would make me hesitate. But do not let that stop you from picking up this book. The way the author handles the tension, the longing, and the moral gray areas is honestly impressive. It’s messy in a way that feels intentional and human, not just drama for the sake of drama.
The story follows Jordan and Olivia, two characters who develop an undeniable connection. Jordan, with all of his charm and vulnerability, and Olivia, who is torn between duty and desire, find themselves caught in a slow-building storm of feelings they’re not supposed to have. The biggest issue? Olivia is married to Aaron. Yet despite that, the chemistry between Jordan and Olivia simmers from the very beginning—stolen glances, lingering touches, flirtatious moments that should mean nothing but wind up meaning everything. Their relationship unfolds like a spark waiting far too long to become a flame.
Both of them are part of a friend group of seven, including Aaron, which adds another layer of tension and complexity to every interaction. Trying to hide their growing attraction while maintaining the façade of normalcy around their friends makes for some seriously gripping scenes.
When the group decides to take a friend’s trip to Vegas, things really start to escalate. Aaron ends up staying behind due to work requirements. What happens during and after this trip takes the story in a direction I genuinely didn’t expect. There’s a twist woven into the narrative that completely shifts the emotional tone of the book, and trust me, it is absolutely worth the wait.

This story is a relatable one that pulls at your heartstrings on what it feels like to be on both sides of the coin in a relationship.

Okay… I don’t even know how to breathe right now. Her completely took me out. Deandre Kralevic really said “let me play with your morals, your heart, and your sanity” — and I ate up every single second of it.
This book is obsession, tension, and temptation. Jordan and Olivia have been friends for years, their connection is the kind that crawls under your skin and stays there. Every stolen look, every almost-touch, every moment they should’ve walked away…
And can we talk about Bobby? I LOVED his character. His humor, his energy — he added the perfect balance to all the angst. And Aaron? Whew 🥵 He’s book boyfriend material, which somehow made everything feel even more messed up in the best way.
The writing is raw in that signature Deandre way — funny, forbidden, thrilling — and somehow still emotional in the quiet moments. And THAT LAST CHAPTER? I swear my soul left my body. But honestly, I shouldn’t be surprised. Deandre always saves the most unhinged, jaw-dropping punch for the end, and this one blew my entire mind open.

I finished the last page feeling wrung out, a little pissed off, and weirdly seen. If you want a safe, tidy love story, this isn’t it. But if you want something messy, human, and painfully honest about how desire can both wake you up and burn your life to the ground, this one is it! That last freakin chapter had me SCREAMING!

I have no words for the ending of this book. No words! I am going to be honest I was flying through this and about half way through I was set on this being 4 then that last chapter hit and everything I just read felt like freaking whiplash.
This is a forbidden romance between Jordan & Olivia. It’s forbidden because Olivia is married to Aaron. She’s off limits.
They are in a friend group that hangs out regularly and watches games together. It starts with Jordan walking Olivia to her car being a friend making sure she arrives safely. But it leads to some tip toeing the line looks, bushes against one another and a dare “Next time you look, don’t look away”
A few text tip toeing that line between Jordan & Olivia are sent back and forth to each other. A few flirty messages, photos are sent upping the ante.
Bobby is Jordan’s wingman and best friend and knows Jordan better than Jordan knows himself. So, Jordan can’t hide anything from Bobby. Bobby is onto Jordan & Olivia. He’s picked up on all of it. But being the best friend and wingman he is loyal to Jordan.
Cue a friend group trip to Vegas. What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas…. It lingers beneath their skin, their thoughts and takes over every being no matter what they try erasing or forgetting.
That’s where I am going to leave this review. Because it’s a short fast pace read and saying more would spoil or reveal too much. Deandre, never ceases to blow my mind with each book….. Also, we see a different side of Deandre in this book as he touches on a different writing style and shows his humorous side. If you are looking for a book that isn’t what it seems, some spice, humor, real emotions and a story that will linger and have you questioning what you actually just read than Her is what you are looking for it’s the mind game waiting for you.

WOW JUST WOW.
So this may get me some questionable look but eh oh well. I was hooked from the first page. As I read on I had mixed emotions. I know what it felt like to be betrayed and to do the betraying. So I feel what both Main Characters were feeling.
The way he was drawn to her. The looks he would pass her way when she wasn’t looking. His thoughts of her. His love for her. It’s something we all crave and want. One night things change?
I CANT BELIEVE THE WAY THE BOOK ENDED! I was a bit surprised honestly!!! I don’t know how else to put my feelings into words without spoiling it. It’s a beautiful story that definitely makes you think about your own personal morals. The love one person can have for one another is breathtaking in this story. The attraction is fierce. This is a book you dont want to miss I couldn't put it down! it was soooooo freaking good l! its for sure one you need to keep a open mind with! it is hot 🔥 and also honestly alittle sad! the end omg the ending had me flipping! I highly recommend this book and pretty much any of this author you won't be disappointed!

as if you could top your other books, this one just takes the cake. the story is so well written, and the last chapter had my mouth ON THE FLOOR! now, ill be honest...the cheating trope is not normally something I reach for but im so glad I continued through. I love the slow burn between Olivia and Jordan.
this book gave me everything! I felt all the emotions and couldn't put it down. THROUGHLY enjoyed this book.

OMG 😱 what did I just read?!?! This book was a fast paced, spicy, scandalous and entertaining. With an ending that had my jaw dropped! This is the book to read!
