I survived magical prison. I’m not so sure I’ll survive what’s waiting for me back home. After my stint in prison for a crime I didn't commit, I want nothing more than quiet streets, friendly faces, and my witch by my side. But Zandra isn't there to greet me, the town’s magic is sparking out of control, and everyone acts like my homecoming might be the start of something terrible!
Then a young woman from the Sea Foam Festival is found dead on the beach, surrounded by sea glass and a death sigil. Angel Force is stumped (what a shocker), and I feel the truth settle in my bones. Someone killed her.
With a taffy maker who looks guilty, a mild-mannered historian who knows too much, and a town full of secrets, I dive into a twisty whodunit where every clue pulls me closer to danger. If I can't uncover what really happened, I might lose more than my witch. I might lose the town I love.

Perfect for readers of paranormal crime cozies, magical amateur sleuths, clever familiars, small-town secrets, sassy chat, laugh-out-loud moments, and twisty cozy mysteries filled with charm, magic, and danger.
K.E. O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren’t even there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.
K.E. (the K stands for Karen) lives in the United Kingdom (it isn’t very united, but that’s a mystery for another time) among the mystical stones and fairy creatures of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

"EVERY WITCH WAY BUT JUNO" represents the nineteenth installment in K.E. O'Connor's "Magical Misfits Mysteries" series. Consistent with previous entries, the narrative demonstrates exceptional quality, featuring compelling characters, engaging humor, and unforeseen plot developments. This series offers an enjoyable reading experience, characterized by its magical mysteries, intriguing criminal investigations, and unusual occurrences. Each installment consistently delivers substantial entertainment, is expertly crafted, and presents ingenious magical mysteries.
Juno's back in Crimson Cove, but is she really free? Cythera put a tracking bangle on her paw so she can be found and called whenever Cythera wants.
She's only been home a day and there's already a dead body, actually the first since she was sent to Badger's Haze. Juno's not happy that the body is on the beach, she really hates anything to do with water. Don't even mention all the stinky seaweed that keeps getting in her fur. Yuck!
Magic is still misfiring in Crimson Cove, with even the simplest spells going wonky. Amidst this chaos, Juno has received information that impacts her magical bond with her witch, Zandra. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this fun, cozy mystery, and the above is my freely given and honest review. I also recommend this series to anyone who loves entertaining mysteries and wise talking cats.
Juno is so happy that Badgers Haze is no longer home to him and his few friends. It feels great to be back home in Crimson Cove. Zandra is helping her family in another town and Juno finds himself wearing Cythera's tracking collar which is actually a shock collar. As grumpy as everyone knows her to be, she actually starts showing a softer side to Juno. A woman, Tonia has come to town for the Sea Foam Festival. She is going for postgraduate maritime history degree and seems to rub people the wrong way. Had she not been murdered, I could see Cythera and her becoming friends. Juno has a way to find clues and ask frank questions. Cythera finds this as annoying as she finds it helpful. Zandra returns, but has to get to her job, she cannot help in solving the murder. This leaves Juno with the ugly position of staying with Cythera. I love the snark Juno has and enjoy when Juno shows Cythera up. Another delightful book and I am happy Juno is home.
Every Witch Way But Juno - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
Juno, witch Zandra's familiar, has been released on licence from Badger's Haze and Cythera already has enough problems to solve with the first murder since Juno's return, in K.C O'Connor's supernatural crime investigation, Every Witch Way But Juno.

Juno returns home. With the help of friends, she investigates a murder. There are several suspects and motives. I like Juno's snarky remarks. Juno is working to get her magic to be stronger. This is a good series.
