"EVERY WITCH WAY BUT JUNO" represents the nineteenth installment in K.E. O'Connor's "Magical Misfits Mysteries" series. Consistent with previous entries, the narrative demonstrates exceptional quality, featuring compelling characters, engaging humor, and unforeseen plot developments. This series offers an enjoyable reading experience, characterized by its magical mysteries, intriguing criminal investigations, and unusual occurrences. Each installment consistently delivers substantial entertainment, is expertly crafted, and presents ingenious magical mysteries.
Juno's back in Crimson Cove, but is she really free? Cythera put a tracking bangle on her paw so she can be found and called whenever Cythera wants.
She's only been home a day and there's already a dead body, actually the first since she was sent to Badger's Haze. Juno's not happy that the body is on the beach, she really hates anything to do with water. Don't even mention all the stinky seaweed that keeps getting in her fur. Yuck!
Magic is still misfiring in Crimson Cove, with even the simplest spells going wonky. Amidst this chaos, Juno has received information that impacts her magical bond with her witch, Zandra. I also recommend this series to anyone who loves entertaining mysteries and wise talking cats.

Juno is so happy that Badgers Haze is no longer home to him and his few friends. It feels great to be back home in Crimson Cove. Zandra is helping her family in another town and Juno finds himself wearing Cythera's tracking collar which is actually a shock collar.
As grumpy as everyone knows her to be, she actually starts showing a softer side to Juno. A woman, Tonia has come to town for the Sea Foam Festival. She is going for postgraduate maritime history degree and seems to rub people the wrong way. Had she not been murdered, I could see Cythera and her becoming friends. Juno has a way to find clues and ask frank questions. Cythera finds this as annoying as she finds it helpful. Zandra returns, but has to get to her job, she cannot help in solving the murder. This leaves Juno with the ugly position of staying with Cythera. I love the snark Juno has and enjoy when Juno shows Cythera up. Another delightful book and I am happy Juno is home.

Good mystery with humor.
Juno returns home. With the help of friends, she investigates a murder. There are several suspects and motives. I like Juno's snarky remarks. Juno is working to get her magic to be stronger. This is a good series.
