Love Unintended #11

Enticing the Wrong Guy

Rate this book
Can enticing the wrong guy turn out right?

Trina
Breaking into a private rooftop to see the planets wasn't my best decision. Getting caught by the gorgeous stranger who owns it? Even worse. But Andre doesn't call security, he sits with me under the stars and makes me feel seen in a way I've never experienced. When I discover he's Andre Russo, retired Formula 1 champion and literal millionaire, I know I should run. Men like him don't fall for average girls like me. We're from completely different worlds, and his glamorous life only proves how much I don't belong. But when he looks at me like I'm everything, I almost believe the impossible.

Andre
At thirty-eight, I've dated plenty of beautiful women who wanted the fame and money. Then Trina breaks into my rooftop with a credit card and her passion for astronomy, and she has no idea who I am. She's genuine, caring, and sees past the surface to the lonely man underneath. For the first time in years, I feel alive. I know it's fast, we barely know each other, but I've never been more certain of anything. She thinks she's not enough for my world, but the truth is, my world was empty until she filled it.

Enticing the Wrong Guy is a steamy and sweet, opposites attract, age gap romance featuring a bold heroine and the older man who wins her heart.

This is book number 11 of the Wrong Guy (Love Unintended) series and focuses on Andre and Trina. Andre is a successful formula 1 racer who had his life changed in the blink of an eye when an accident during one of his races ended his career and almost his life. He is trying, and struggling, to acclimate to his new normal when he meets Trina. Meeting her helped him see a path and a purpose beyond his career. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! 🌟❤️🌌

Enticing the Wrong Guy was such a sweet, heartwarming romance that completely swept me away! From the very first rooftop meeting, I was hooked. 🥰

Trina was an easy heroine to love. Her passion for astronomy, her insecurities, and her genuine heart made her feel real and relatable. Watching her sneak onto a rooftop to look at the stars only to meet the handsome owner was the perfect start to a romance. ✨🔭

Andre was absolutely swoon-worthy. 🩶 A retired Formula 1 champion, millionaire, and older hero who has everything except someone who truly sees him for who he is. What made him special wasn’t his fame or fortune—it was how completely he adored Trina. The way he looked at her, supported her, and made her feel valued melted my heart. ❤️

The chemistry between them was wonderful, but I especially loved the emotional connection they built. Despite coming from different worlds, they fit together perfectly.

What I loved:
🌌 Stargazing and astronomy themes
❤️ Opposites attract romance
🏎️ Retired Formula 1 champion hero
🩶 Sweet, devoted older hero
✨ Curvy heroine
💕 Instant connection
🥰 Plenty of swoony moments
🌟 Feel-good happily ever after

One of my favorite parts was watching Trina slowly realize that Andre wasn’t interested in her because of appearances or status—he simply loved her for who she was. Those moments were beautiful and heartfelt. 💖

This story was sweet, romantic, and impossible not to smile through. If you enjoy age-gap romances, wealthy heroes who fall first, and heroines who shine brighter than they realize, this is a book you’ll definitely want to read. 📚✨❤️🌠.

This was such a sweet, feel-good romance that completely pulled me in from the beginning. The meet-cute alone was enough to hook me—Trina sneaking onto a private rooftop to witness a rare planetary alignment and getting caught by the owner was not what I expected, but it made for a memorable start.

I really loved Trina and Andre together. Trina is relatable, down-to-earth, and passionate about astronomy, while Andre is a retired Formula 1 champion who has all the money and fame but still feels lonely beneath the surface. What made their connection work for me was that Trina had no idea who he was when they met. Their relationship developed from genuine conversations and attraction rather than his celebrity status.

The story is definitely on the lighter side when it comes to drama, which I appreciated. There is some angst when Trina struggles with their very different lifestyles and doubts whether she belongs in Andre's world. While her fears were understandable, I was rooting for her to realize what Andre already knew—that what they had was worth fighting for.

Andre was probably my favorite character. He was patient, caring, and completely devoted once he fell for Trina. Their chemistry was sweet with just the right amount of steam, and the romance felt heartfelt throughout.

If you're looking for a quick, entertaining contemporary romance with a curvy heroine, a swoony retired Formula 1 hero, low drama, and a satisfying happily-ever-after, this is definitely worth picking up. It left me smiling by the end.

Short but addictive slightly different so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Trina doesn’t usually break the rules but she will to look at the planets although her plan wasn’t to get caught, she just wanted to have a peek and the best place to see them was from the private rooftop knowing she should have ran when she realized she was caught but of course she didn’t the planet had her captured. Andre sexy as all get out retired Formula 1 champion millionaire he has been through it all women seeing him for his net worth when all he has wanted to be seen for himself so when he caught a beautiful women on his rooftop just to watch the planets he couldn’t believe the her passion for astronomy and instead of being upset he decided to join her shifting both of their paths. The magnetic pull was there the moment he caught her on his rooftop he joined her to watch only when she realized who he was did she start to panic but he gave her no cause to panic in fact after calming her down they started talking and the magnetic pull grows stronger. But the more time they spend with each other the more she feels like she doesn’t belong in his world will he be able to convince her that she is his world, will she believe him realizing that she is right where she belongs, and will they find happiness along the way of studying the planets?

Trina is taking a break from packing up her sister's apartment. But she is definitely determined to see the stars on the rooftop. Picking a lock to get there seems to be the best way. Until the one who owns the penthouse is not necessarily wondering what she's doing on his rooftop but more intrigued about who she is. She doesn't know that he's famous or is still famous to some capacity. She just knows that he is kind of in pain when he walks toward her but settles down on the chair to stargaze with her. This is another good read from our author. What might not look good on paper doesn't matter, togetherthey makesense. They're not necessarily from different worlds they are meant to meet in the middle. They both have their own pains and tribulations of the day but are still able to see each other. Andre is relieved that she doesn't know about his celebrityness and just takes takes him as he is . This is a moderately paced romance that neither one of them saw coming. It is a good read. There are some things that are funny and yet still very intimate. Trina's sister is the comic relief and some instances and sets her to write. It is a very good read. Can't wait for the next one!.

Enticing the Wrong Guy is super cute! Famous retired racer Andre is kind, caring, down to earth, and real. Hurting emotionally and physically after his career ended with traumatic injury, he is struggling to figure out what his life looks like now. Sweet and selfless Trina loves hard and genuinely enjoys being of service. She has, for the most part, learned to love herself, and she sees other people for who they truly are. Giving and loving by nature, she is the perfect match for Andre. I loved their story—from their first meet cute to the very end. I found it to be well-written, easily paced, relatable, and entertaining.

Enticing The Wrong Guy is a steamy curvy girl Contemporary romance featuring a formula one racing driver now retired, and a young woman who loves astronomy and breaks into the private rooftop of Andre Russo not realizing it was private, but she really needed to see that once in a lifetime planetary alignment.
For Andre’s part he enjoyed spending the time with his surprise visitor and invited her back hoping she returns.
I enjoyed their story which was romantic, light on drama, passionate and wonderfully written.
This story was a good read that ended with a lovely HEA.

Gentle age-gap romance. I enjoyed this story of astronomy smitten, Trina and retired Formula 1 star, Andre. Trina breaks into Andre’s roof terrace to star gaze & is caught ‘trespassing’ by the man himself. I liked the way Andre is smitten from the start but is held back by the age gap and the fact that he is still dwelling on the end of his high-flying career. Trina is captivated by this lovely man, but is put off by his glamorous world – which she feels she simply doesn’t fit into. Despite their differences they cannot stay apart and their HEA is sweet and satisfying to the reader. An enjoyable romance.

Andre was a Formula 1 race car driver until an accident took his career. He’s now living in Florida. One night he heads to his rooftop for some quiet and walks in on Trina. She’s on his rooftop looking at the planets. Trina has no clue who he is. And Andre enjoys that. This author is great at writing feel good stories and this is one. It’s a quick read with great characters. Sweet with some steam and a well written story. I loved it.

A hot and steamy short novella. Andre could be anyone that is forced into early retirement because of an injury, despite being rich; and I loved Trina's ability to be quick with a smile, laugh, amd happiness with life.

I liked how these two met, the way they clicked and the way they were with each other. Her sister entertained me at times and I really liked the support she gave Trina. I believed in their connection and chemistry and seeing them work through things to get their HEA.

I really liked how I relate to her strongly yet he loved and lusted after in equal measure. Trina is me in book form, I even used to be a CNA and worked with the elderly for many years. I still get bullied at the age of 40 so I get her frustration.

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Trina and Andre. The fast-paced story keeps us turning the pages with connection, poor decisions, insecurities and realizations.

zooming into love!

Andre…spectacular book boyfriend! What is not to love there? Patient, romantic, open-hearted. Not as much of a fan of Trina. Seemed to me one of the less steamy of the “wrong guy” series, but I think that fits with Andre’s personality. Quick fun beach read! ARC via booksprout.
