When the body of a National Security Agency contractor washes up on the shore of Naval Air Station Key West on Boca Chica Key, an endless stream of questions should follow. Instead, only silence rings through the Keys and beyond until a mysterious Jesuit priest appears on Chase Fulton’s doorstep with a story too unbelievable to be a lie.
Chase and his team of unstoppable covert operators must embark on a case so complex and so deeply buried that even the players themselves are the last possible suspects and practically above reproach. From an orphaned and abandoned baby in the rural backcountry of the Florida panhandle to the North Central Florida supermax prison, one man could be the key to unraveling the intricate web being spun through the halls of our nation’s capital, all the way to the sacred cathedrals of the Vatican itself.
A cast of seemingly unconnected players and a stream of coverups, espionage, and murder come together to weave a web from which even Chase and his team may not escape. Could innocence lie at the feet of the convicted, and ultimate guilt fall like rain on the heads of untouchable world powers?
Do Chase Fulton and Tactical Team 21 have the resolve to uncover the truth, untangle the lies, and dispense justice the elite rarely taste, or will forces of unimaginable power crush them before the sun can rise and expose the terrible reality no one is prepared to believe?
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap put me on a roller coaster many years ago with his first Chase. I was mesmerized, hoodwinked, lied to, and still am. It’s taken me awhile to admit that I thoroughly like each of the books. And I do! But as a writer myself I know I have my favorites and that includes just 2 of Cap’s reads. That equates to his first book of the series and this last read, Sacred Chase. Cap has matured as a writer and I am glad for him. Great writers do. He has indeed. You gave me a winsome Lass named Anya. Then, you stole her away by creating Penny. I liked Penny. But, I loved Anya. To see them come full circle is “mercy” and I am thankful for it. You also gave up Pogo, a “love child” of sorts. It became a family to me, one I enjoy being a part of and seeing them grow together. Finally he has his family! Their interactions touch my heart with joy and yes, contentment. Please don’t tell Anya you’ve found her next victim to ‘stick like pig’. Thank you, Cap for the adventures. Oh, you can lie to me anytime!
Demon possession, Catholic Church hierarchy, a mysterious prisoner, horses, murders, a politician, drugs, Mossad. Cap always gives his readers a lot to ponder. A fascinating and involved storyline trying to identify who people are, and who is good and who isn’t. A lot of three steps forward, two steps back. A lot of significant interpersonal dialogue and moments. This story kept me reading and wanting to find out more right to the end. It is what we have come to expect from Cap Daniels, and yet another unique story. I loved it.
First if there is anyone out there that has an objection to the way Cap has Ellis speak, stop right now. You obviously aren’t from the South. I grew up in deep East Texas and was around folks that spoke that way everyday. It is as much an authentic speech pattern as the one he gives Kenny. It captures it perfectly and it always brings me great memories of the people I have known that sound just like that. Cap delivers on this book just like his fans have come to expect. New characters, twists and an unexpected direction with the plot. Great as always and can’t wait for the next.
Sacred Chase by Cap Daniels' is a twisty, dynamic thriller, that starts when Chase and his Tactical Team 21 - Anya, Gator, Kodiak, Skipper Shawn, Mongo and Singer, are hired by a Jesuit priest with ties to the Vatican. MCs Chase Fulton, partner Anya and the rest are in the thick of the non-stop action, as they fight to do the right thing.

Normally I give 4 stars so I can give out the fifth for the truly exceptional books I read. This is Cap's second, Singer was the first. BTW, I have read them all.
This book had the perfect balance of the usual action with the perfect blend of humanity and religion that real people need. The very touching moments of real tenderness came out well. I especially liked the story of the old man, the bag, and the sunset. Hit me (and my wife when I shared) right in the heart.

I love Caps books! I have read them all. This book compared to his other stories does not hold up. It was not composed very well, the mission unclear until much later on the book. Therefore, confusing. There was no flow of the story. Just a bunch of guys running around being rough dudes and throwing money around. I am not sure about Chase and Anya , but love the daughter!
This was a very convoluted story. I almost had to keep a list of names /characters with a + or - by their name. The scope of travel in this story is wild! The places that they go to collect clues is also quite numerous! I am Skipper was keeping records also! I had to read slower than usual so I could keep all that happened in order and who was impacted by what happened! This was a great story and the whole team contributed to its successful end!
At first I was going to pan this one for the first time ever. Mainly because I felt the storyline was too incredulous (the team taking on this kind of 'case'). Then I realized it was a brilliant effort by the terrific author to keep Chase and the team close and develop the Pogonya character much further, which wouldn't have been possible on a globe trotting mission. I love her character and the ramifications of her existence! Thank you, Cap!
An unusual request is made from a priest, who shows up at Chase's front door. Just how high up this crime goes will surprise our band of warriors! Pogo gets some first hand experience in her parents world! God sends "angels" to intervene and give wisdom where needed.
Another great read from Cap Daniels. Was great visiting with Elizabeth in St. Augustine once again. It's been a long time. Love to see the characters from the old days pop up every now and then. We just can't get enough of Chase's adventures. Look forward to the next episode in July. Great work Cap.
As always I throughly enjoyed this latest Chase adventure. The only “downside “ for me is the budding relationship between Chase and Anya. I love that Chase has a daughter in his life, but I think he deserves a better future mate than Anya (just my opinion). Whatever Cap has in store for us next is much anticipated.
I have always enjoyed reading the Chase Fulton novels. Cap Daniels is a wonderful author. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy "The Sacred Chase" as much as his previous books. Although it was well written I was disappointed by the story. Hopefully his next book will be more like the stories that we have grown to love and expect.
WOW< this had to be the top book in this series for me so far , but there are a few right there next to this one !!!!!!! I truly hope this Chase Fulton series continues as Cap Daniels is ONE OUTSTANDING Author’s of all the books I have read over my 63 years of reading !!! Well done sir !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cap Daniels gives us another "Chase" adventure. Fast paced, exciting and tearful at times. Mr.Daniels has a writing style that not only makes the reader part of the adventure, but makes you think about yourself, family and God,s blessings. Can't wait for the next installment. Thanks Cap!!!
Cap once again delivers the goods. With The Sacred Choice, we get another round of the intense action and strong dialog that appears in every story he pens. While the twists and moving moments still hit just as hard. These stories are a blast to read, and are so easy to recommend.
A Sacred Chase is yet another book that grasps your attention from the first paragraph and doesn’t let go! I have to force myself to put these books down, or I will finish them the same day I start them.
The story continues, still a page turner. Love the storyline.Story keeps your interest, can’t wait for next book. Have read every book in series never a dull moment.
So many interesting twists and turns, Cap. I appreciate all your work and don’t look forward to any end. Thank you for writing. In this world there are so many pursuits less “dreamy” but it is the dreams that make us smile.
Change of pace for Chase and crew but still was a goo story and I hope he and anya get married but hard to say the next one will be more on point and his daughter may decide she wants to follow in parents foot steps ciao from Bobbie and I ...
