My cosy, quiet life has been turned upside down. Two handsome contract killer brothers, one cruel, one kind, have me in their sights and now I’m next to die.
But then one of them falls for me.
Thrust into a world of assassins, lies and betrayal, I’m torn between my feelings for the man meant to kill me and my need to survive.
The question is, what will kill me first—a bullet or heartbreak?
This is a standalone multi-POV romantic suspense contract killer romance with dark, triggering themes. Trigger warnings are listed at the front of the book and on Kayla Kyng’s website. This novel is part of the Luxe Universe and while it’s recommended you read the Denver Trilogy first, it isn’t required to understand the story.
This book had me going thru all the emotions....laughing out loud to yelling to crying to sweating.
we meet author Ella, who is currently writing her next great book and living in her besties apt, when her lucky pen decides it needed a plot twist and land on the balcony below. we then meet Asher and Gable, hit men extraordinaire, who are in Ellas downstairs neighbors apt when Ella comes barging in demanding her pen! Their job is done but there is smtg about Ella that had Asher take notice. Gable cant stand the lil firecracker and wants her gone. however their job isnt done yet....they get a notice that Ella is the next target. Asher needs to protect Ella. but when other hitmen come for Ella while Gable grumbles. all bets are off. things are not what they seem and Ellas life is going to get even more complicated. what's the worst thing that can happen?
Drama, deceit, OMG moments and wanting to throat punch a few characters makes this a great read. It keeps you sitting on the edge of your chair anticipating what happens next.
This ARC was such a big surprise for me. I applied impulsively after seing a prompt about it. Give me brothers, a girl and two completely different opinions on whether to like her or not and I'm game.
This book has made me laugh but also cry. Kayla says she likes high stakes and it absolutely shows, because noone is safe and noone strays from their convictions, which I absolutely love. If there's one thing to be said about the characters in this book then it's that they stay true to themselves to the T.
I look forward to basically reading everything she writes from now on.
📖 Saving Ella by Kayla Kyng Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
I received this book prior to release as an ARC and this review features my honest opinion.
I loved this book. Great banter, and oh those twists and turns. The story was interesting and well written. If you like a plot driven dark romance with humor and a light amount of Spice, then you will like this book.
I went through all the emotions reading this! I felt everything from heartbreak, to happiness, to relief. I didn't know ow your heart could break more than once in such a short amount of time. and just when you think thats it, Kayla brings out a huge plot twist. I cant put into words how good this was. I have waited months for this book and it was definitely worth the wait!
I loved this book! From aww ➡️ wtf ➡️ *kicking my feet* ➡️ ahhhhh!! ➡️ seriously WTF ➡️ no,no,no ➡️ oh thank F*CK!!!, this had me going through it!! Thank you to the author for this ARC! 🩷
⋆ multi pov ⋆ he falls first ⋆ found family ⋆ “fake” dating ⋆ secret identity ⋆ romantic suspense ⋆ contract k1ller x target _______________
wow. wow. Saving Ella is a dark romance filled with tension and suspense where we follow our FMC Ella as she tries to get into her grove of writing again and our two MMCs Gable and Asher as they try to make a living to survive. We watch through their eyes and many others as these three meet unexpectedly and as tension grows between all of them. We watch as this unexpected meeting takes a turn for the worst but maybe in a different perspective.. for the best!
Oh my. These characters I’m like actually in love. Ella is such a strong and powerful female character and I loved everything about her. From her internal dialogue to her thing about her pens and witty comebacks! She is one of the most powerful characters I’ve read about I a hit minute! Now let’s talk about the foster brother! Asher and Gable are the complete opposites however there’s one thing they both share which is the love and devotion they have for one another and the people they care about! Watching these two together and with Ella was so special. But don’t be fooled this isn’t a why choose… but after reading this book you wouldn’t wish any different and that’s coming from someone who is obsessed with a good WC!
This was my first book by Kayla Kyng and let me just say I am so damn happy that I was introduced to her! This book was such a roller coaster but it was so so worth it. The writing in this book had me second guessing every little theory I had! It did such a good job at keeping you invested, wanting more but also not being to obvious to where it would go! This book was such a breath of fresh air! I’m gonna need to read more by Kayla Kyng asap!!
Overall, such a great book! I would like to that Kyng and Ever After PR of the amazing ARC! I absolutely can’t wait to read more from Kayla in the future! Just wow! 🕯️💕💀
Well Kayla Kyng did it again. I received the ARC for this book from Ever After PR and I immediately started reading it and was hooked. I am a huge fan of the Luxe Universe series so going into this new story that is totally different from the previous books but also within the same world was so much fun.
You meet Ella, who is a quirky and fearless author who has a run in the two foster brother assassins. Little does she know, she is their target. Being the charming and lovable person Ella is, it doesn’t go the way the brothers were expecting.
Asher and Gable are the definition of Ying and Yang brothers. Asher is the sweet, likable, outgoing brother with blonde hair and blue eyes while Gable is the grumpy, standoffish brother with dark hair and nearly black eyes. And of course I loved both of them! If I had Asher’s and Gable’s attention, there is no way I would be able to choose. I was kind of hoping for a why choose moment but the direction this story went, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t want to give anything away, just know it was perfection.
It was such a breath of fresh air with a completely different storyline but we also got to see characters from the previous series. Man I missed Denver. This story had my emotions all over the place. I cried, I laughed and I nearly threw my kindle at the wall. I find that Kayla likes to build up the happiness within me, only to rip my heart out. But don’t worry. She always puts it back together. To do it all over again. It’s diabolical! But I love her for it. 🫶 I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Luxe Universe.
I genuinely don’t know how to emotionally process what I just read.
I went in expecting witty banter, a fiery FMC, and two dangerously charming MMCs I’d happily fall for. And yes — I got that. The chemistry was instant. The tension? Delicious. The plot? Absolutely plotting.
But then this book shifted.
What started with sharp humour and flirty chaos turned into full-blown emotional devastation. I’m talking heart-in-your-throat, blinking-back-tears, clutching-the-book kind of intensity. The romantic suspense element is strong and relentless — the stakes feel real, and the twists genuinely caught me off guard.
Ella is such a compelling heroine. She’s layered, resilient, and completely owns her story. Watching her navigate a world of assassins, betrayal, and impossible choices kept me fully invested.
Asher and Gable… I don’t even know how to talk about them without spiralling. One harsher, one softer — both complex, both heartbreaking in different ways. The emotional push and pull between love and survival is done so well. You feel every decision.
And can we please discuss Monty? If she doesn’t get her own book, I will be deeply unwell.
This book delivers: • Romantic suspense with real tension • Forbidden love with high stakes • Contract killer/target trope executed beautifully • Found family moments that balance the darkness • Secret identity + “fake” dating elements woven naturally into the plot • Spice that absolutely delivers
This was my first Kayla Kyng read, and it will not be my last. My TBR has officially grown, and I’m more than okay with it.
Thank you to Kayla and Love Ever After for the ARC — these are my honest thoughts.
Thank you to Ever After PR and the author for the ARC
As my intro Kayla King’s writing, this book was a rollercoaster of a ride. The story centers on two assassin brothers who find themselves conflicted when they encounter their latest target, Ella. What starts as a simple mission quickly devolves into mayhem, blending the danger of their profession with a mystery that keeps you guessing. The journey is packed with adventure and drama, but it is the twist at the halfway point that truly elevates the stakes. Without giving anything away, that moment shifts the trajectory of the book in a way that is both surprising and satisfying.
The storytelling is balanced, offering a pace that feels brisk without sacrificing emotional depth. It is an accessible read in terms of length, making it easy to devour in a few sittings, yet it doesn't shy away from moments of genuine heartbreak. This is a world that feels both fun and engaging, populated by characters you truly want to root for. The side characters deserve a special mention as well; they provide a great deal of flavor, ensuring that the world feels lived-in and vibrant beyond just the main trio.
🍵 Final Verdict This is an enthralling romance that delivers exactly what it promises: assassins, unexpected turns, and plenty of sharp, witty banter. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, and the emotional journey they undergo makes the final outcome feel earned. If you are looking for a story that combines the tension of a thriller with the heart of a romance, Saving Ella is a fantastic choice that will leave you eager to see what this author does next.
Saving Ella by Kayla Kyng is a dark, emotionally charged romantic suspense that blends danger, trauma recovery, and hard-won trust into a gripping standalone. Told through multiple POVs, the story layers emotional depth with high-stakes tension. While it exists within the Luxe Universe — and Denver Trilogy readers will catch familiar threads, it stands firmly on its own. Because the novel explores heavy subject matter, trigger warnings are listed at the front of the book and on the author’s website.
Ella’s journey is less about being rescued and more about reclaiming autonomy after trauma. The contract-killer backdrop keeps the tension sharp, but the emotional stakes hit hardest. The banter between the love interests cuts through the darkness with sharp wit and undeniable chemistry, and the “he falls first” energy adds a layer of tenderness beneath the danger.
Their dynamic thrives on secrets, forced proximity, that quickly blurs into something real. The romance simmers before igniting into spice that feels intense yet purposeful, amplifying vulnerability and emotional connection rather than overshadowing it.
While the pacing occasionally lingers in introspective moments, the payoff is worth it. Saving Ella delivers a gritty, cathartic romance about survival, agency, and the power of being truly seen — even in the darkest circumstances.

Thank you Ever After PR for allowing me to read Saving Ella in exchange for an honest review.
"I should turn the fuck around and go back to my room. That's what I should do. But I've never chosen the easy road.
Fuck it."
This was my first time reading anything by Kayla Kyng and I have to say I'm impressed!
While the story started off a little slow and cheesy for my normal taste, the twist and turns surprised me and really brought me in.
Characters→ Ella, Asher, & Gable...our interesting trio. All of them were lovable and unique, something I appreciate in a story. Especially Asher and Gable, being brothers and all, could not be more different from each other. The golden retriever and doberman duo. Ella is as sweet and sunshiny as they come. As an author, she lives in her own world 24/7 but still has a spark for life. You can't help but love her, even when she can be a bit annoying.
Story→ I can say right now, you cannot predict how this story will go. There's just no way. When you think you have a grip on the plot, BAM! Kyng hits you with another twist. It's a quality that keeps the story interesting even during the boring parts.
And the romance. It's beautiful, heartbreaking, moral shaking, and sometimes so sweet you hate it. Authors with that ability will always get a 3⭐ or above rating from me!
♡♡♡♡♡♡
Whether you love mystery, contract killers, romance, dogs, or just good ole fashion murder...you'll absolutely love Saving Ella
Thank you Ever After PR for allowing me to read Saving Ella in exchange for an honest review
"How protecting her became the only reason to keep breathing"
Ella Gibson is just a normal woman. Well a normal crime writer with an inner monologue (that's normal right? RIGHT). When Ella is thrust into a world of deceit, subtefuge and murder, Ella's just trying to survive, but will she lose her heart in the process?
Ella is the slightly neurotic FMC whose fiesty, foul mouthed and dirty minded ( I love her, 😍). Her Inner monologue is hilarious and I relate to this way too much
Asher is our morally black cinammon roll who only has eyes for her. Gable, Asher's brother, just wants to get the heck out of Socal. And Motor the dog is a good boy.
Holy. Moly. I did not mentally prepare myself for that journey this book was going to take me on. The characters are well developed and relatable ( even the contract killers). The storyline is so great, the pacing, the spice and omg the ending 🤯. I cannot recommend this book enough!
Tropes - Grumpy x Sunshine - Dark romance - Contract Killer - Touch her and ☠️
Pros - Smart and Sassy FMC - I love a female character that flips off the love of her life - Multi POV is so great - There's a Doggo who falls for her first - I mean, that cover 😍 😍 😍
Cons - Emotional damage - Holy. Moly. I did not mentally prepare myself for that journey. Omg the ending 🤯
Overall rating: 5/5 I want to read all of Kyla Kyngs books immediately, straight to my yes author list.
Saving Ella is a contract killer romance that had me on edge the entire time. I loved the relationship that Ella formed between Asher and Gable. It felt genuine, but because this book is 379 pages, some of the relationship development did seem rushed. The book covered a lot of ground which is why I felt that some of the story felt lacking in some ways. Vibes that I got from the book were John Wick but without the killing of the dog. I will have to say that there were times where I was tearing up because the plot twists wrecked me.
As this is the first book I read of Kayla's I was impressed with how all of the character arcs were tied up. Whether there will be a second book or not remains to be seen. I do have to say that one character who I felt did not have such a clean character arc was Deacon, Ella's ex-boyfriend, but he wasn't that great of guy anyway.
Overall, this was 4/5 for me. 1.5/5 for spice. I highly recommend this book to readers who like suspense and mystery in their romance books. I also recommend this book to readers who like second chance romance (you need to read the book to understand why I say this) along with grumpy vs sunshine. This book is also for those who like thrillers.
Thank you Ever After PR for the review copy. All opinions are my own.
I am writing this review in exchange for an ARC. Thank you so much to Ever After PR and Kayla Kyng for selecting me as an ARC reader.
Holy moly, this book was amazing! The plot, the spice, the pacing, the banter (I legit laughed out loud multiple times) and the slow burn. It was just ✨️so✨️ good. I noticed a few little grammatical things, but nothing that would take stars away from this beauty. This is one of the few books I've read where the spice did not outweigh the plot. And the plot was plotting!
I loved the strength and sass of the FMC, Ella. She was no bullshit and not afraid to give it back to anyone. Her relationship with her Dad was beautiful. I loved the MMCs and how they were so different personality wise, but also so similar. Their stories were just beautifully tragic.
Do prepare yourself for an emotional experience as well and check the trigger warnings. There are parts that are quite dark. I cried multiple times and while my heart was shattered, Kayla put it back together again 💕.
The TWIST! Whew, you got me Kayla. I thought I had it figured, but dang, was I wrong lol.
The first chapter had me interested then the second chapter had me hooked and I was hooked from then on!
I loved the character development and the development of the relationship. It was a real enemies to lovers.
FMC is 25 which is an age you don't see often for fmcs I feel like especially in mafia romances so I really liked that.
Erm...chapter 21 I was not expecting that twist 😭 Or the twist in chapter 44 too!
It did take me a bit to get over how quick Ella and Asher got together. She was in a relationship until 5 minutes before she got into one with him. She was probably emotionally out of the relationship for a while from what it seemed but still. Bit quick for my liking.
This was my first read by this author and I can say I will definitely be reading more, I throughly enjoyed the writing style, the depth given to the characters and story. Highly recommend!

Ugh Kayla… YOU MADE ME CRY SO HARD GIRL. I got the book as a ARC read, and I wasn’t expecting to have this many plot twists and emotions. But the writing was very well, the story was well paced with a good time gap known to the reader by the author. I think the enemies to lovers trope served well into this read. I like the FMC, I thought she was a good strong character who didn’t take shit from anyone. There’s some moments I wish she’d of stood her ground more but besides that she was pretty consistent The MMCs were great (until the one plot twist iykyk) and I think the character development with Gable was really well written and there wasn’t that insta love between them which was lined up with the timeline. The spice scenes?? Uhm hello… I’d like to have both men any time 🥵 There was some good little bits of humor in here which helped lighten the mood in some places which was also appreciated. All in all, I’d definitely recommend reading for the dark romance, enemies to lovers, hitmen, strong FMC is what you’re looking for!
This was my first Kayla Kyng book, and it did not disappoint. Ella our FMC is an author with a quirky but fiery personality. Ella is living life, writing books and dealing with annoying neighbours, until she stumbles into the path of the Flynn brothers. Asher Flynn is like a golden retriever. Outgoing and likeable and a real sweetheart. Gable Flynn, on the other hand, is rude, standoffish and has no time for BS. Oh and did I mention, they're both assassins?! Both men may be delicious with bodies you want to lick, but for Ella, this just wasn't a chapter she could foresee. The start of this book reeled me in, got me comfortable and then ripped the rug right from under me. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat, but there were some moments that just had me giggling and kicking my feet. Kayla delivers a story and characters that are so layered that you can't not love this book! Also I'm sorry but the 'fuck it' scene had me SCREAMING. This story has now got me wanting to read other books by Kayla, so | guess I will be meeting Denver next! I'm very intrigued by her story!

OMG! The emotional roller coaster of this story is *CHEFS KISS 💋 I binge read the whole book last night, once I noticed the ARC had hit my inbox! (Shoutout to Ever After PR 👏🏼)
Here’s are the deets…Ella barges into Asher & Gables life. (Foster Brothers turned Contract K!llers) Asher is a real gentleman(*minus the k!lling… I mean we all have red flags…am I right?), Gable is a grumpy guy. Are they both hot though? YUP?!?
So you might be thinking, What is the problem?!? Well Ella is their next “job” Whoops 😬
I was really hoping for “Why Choose” cause my girl Ella deserves that 🫶🏼 BUT I totally love how it turned out.
I’ve got to be honest… This is my very first Kayla Kyng read (I know, for shame) & I am HOOKED. Come to find out Saving Ella is a standalone that takes place in The Luxe Universe (Dark Mafia Romance Trilogy) which I now have on my #TBR 💁🏻♀️
Available For Preorder on Amazon & KU 🖤 Releases Feb 28th 2026
Oh my goodness me, where do I even start with this??? I received an EARC version of this book and it was my first introduction to Kayla Kyng, boy was I not disappointed. This book honestly had everything I need all wrapped up into one bundle book of excellence, written in first person, multiple POV’s. The banter, the laughs, the tears, the heart break and betrayal there honestly wasn’t a dull page. Ella is one of my top FMC’s, she’s relatable, funny, strong and completely loveable. While it is funny it is also a dark romance and features a betrayal I did not except, the twists and turns in this are so raw I cried 3 times, real tears. The spice level was also perfect for me, there was just enough but it didn’t overtake the story or the plot because boy is there PLOT, I’m not a fan when a book is 90% spice and 10% everything else it bores me so this was PERFECT. I cannot recommend this book enough (CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS) I’m so grateful I got to be one of the first to read this and I don’t know how I’m going to recover, I know I’m going to be thinking about this book for a while.
I was super lucky to receive aN ARC of this book & I’m so glad I did !! This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster! When I tell you I was laughing out loud one minute, yelling the next and then crying when I didn’t think I would 😭
We meet Ella, an author working on her next big novel, When her lucky pen (that she buys in bulk) takes an unexpected trip and lands on the balcony below, shes quickly downstairs to go get and that’s when we meet Asher and Gable (also hit men) Their job is suppose to become until something about Ella catches Asher’s attention. Gable, on the other hand, can’t stand the smart ass little Ella and wants her gone. But things take a dangerous turn when they receive notice that Ella is the next target. Asher feels the need to protect her, even as Gable continues to grumble. When other hitmen come after Ella, all bets are off. Nothing is as it seems, and her life gets a whole lot more complicated
Lots of drama and OMG moments, and a few characters you’ll want to throat punch (which is valid) this was such an amazing read! It keeps you on the edge of your seat, desperate to know what happens next.
Kayla Kyng you have done it again! Turned me into a complete sobbing mess 😭 Girl what are trying to do to me with all these plot twists?
Saving Ella is another 5⭐️ read from the lovely Kayla Kyng and one you have to pre order right now this second if you haven't already. Go on do it now!!!
The story follows our FMC Ella Gibson, who is a writer and our 2 contract killers Asher & Gable. And that's all im going to say otherwise il give so much away, as those twists I just didn't see coming🤯
Asher my lovely, charming, boy next door, insta loving assassin what am I going to do 😭 (IYKYK)
Then theres Gable his brother (not really brothers as they met in the foster system) I love you so so much! ❤️ He may give of the grouchy, grumpy, sarcastic assassin vibes but really deep down he's a softy who wants to be loved.
The scene where he wants to go and watch the Barbie movie 🎬 😂🤣😂🤣
And we cant forget Motor the loving companion who Ella made ao depressed, I'm glad you got your mojo back!
Kayla I can't wait to read what you have install for us next🥰
Saving Ella by Kayla Kyng was a really entertaining read that kept me engaged the whole way through. Ella was definitely the standout for me. She’s funny, sharp, and has a personality that makes the story easy to stay invested in, even during the slower moments.
The pacing sat somewhere between slow and medium, and at times it felt a little uneven. Certain moments moved too quickly while others dragged without much happening. That said, I was still hooked enough to keep turning the pages.
The plot leans a bit predictable, especially toward the ending, and I found myself wanting a stronger, more developed villain. The mystery element was interesting, but the payoff didn’t hit quite as hard as I hoped.
Overall, though, I had a great time reading this. It’s one of those books that may not be perfect, but it’s still a fun, engaging ride, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
To the readers who resonate with this: “F uck me like you hate me. Love me like you’ll die without me.”
Omg!! This book, what a rollercoaster! 🎢 Wow. This had suspense, spice, tension, heartbreak, relief and plot. I felt all the feels. This book had so many layers and the ending I didn’t see coming.

Listen, when Kayla announced she had a new book coming out I signed up to the ARC in record time and sat patiently waiting to hopefully be approved. I fell in love with her style of writing, story telling and of course The Luxe Universe.
Saving Ella is a standalone, with a dash here and there of some other characters in The Luxe Universe. I did scream a little when a certain man turned up, and not the one you’re all thinking of.
Kayla has an incredible way of delivering the shock factor in her books, and this certainly isn’t any different. I loved the dynamic between Asher, Gable and Ella and the ever battle of her internal dialog. I am glad that this is one book only, but it does open up the door to explore other characters that are brought to our attention, um hello X, Y and Z.
Big shout out to Guy, I think everyone should have a dad like him.
That was an amazing read, twists, turns, utter shocking moments. Just omg!!!
Absolutely loved this book and could not put it down, it was a whirlwind of crazy and awesomeness. I laughed alot (after dental work not the best idea) but I couldn’t stop myself, I throughly enjoyed all the characters lots. And do wish this was a multi book just so I could love them more. I had to keep reading until i finished it, so I’m definitely due to go to bed it’s late but it was engaging me and well Todd said stay up and finish it!!
Overall amazing, loved the story, loved the characters, don’t want to give anything way. There was a lot and it all happens in this book. Was it a book I’d reread yes!! Was it one I’d recommend yes!! Double yes!!
I would love to read more from this author as this was a first, but I’m sold. Loved it all, the way Kayla writes - was perfection and I’ll definitely be checking out more of her books. That cover 🩷🩷🩷 just gorgeous
Was this book like an explosion of emotions? Abso-fu*king-lutely😭😍❤️🔥!!!! Am I happy about this rollercoaster? YAASSSS, I don’t regret a thing!
This book was so good! I can’t remember when was the last time I laughed and cried so much while reading🥹😭😍! I was giggling and kicking my feet🤭, I was sobbing and tensing🥺 it was breaking my heart, then healing and breaking right after😭❤️🩹! I don’t even know if I finished the book, or it finished me😩❤️
I’m a slow reader, and a lot of times it takes me time to go through the first chapters, however this book had me hooked from chapter 1 and up until the end🥰🤤
The plot twists and cliffhangers were jaw-dropping, I couldn’t even process them🤯 The sizzling tension and witty banter were so intense, it kept me on the edge of my seat, making me kick my feet all the time🤭❤️
This book was everything for me😭🥹❤️🩹 I wish my memory was erased for me to read it once again🥹❤️🔥
I'm so grateful to have read this as an ARC reader. It was exactly what it promised. I was completely HOOKED from the first page. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, making me laugh one moment and cry the next.
I particularly enjoyed the multi POV, as it provided insight into all the main characters' thoughts, deepening my understanding of their complexities.
The story follows Ella, a writer who didn't mean to stumble of 2 brothers, who happen to be contract killers.
Ella gets caught up in something bad which she has no idea about and it's to Asher and Gable to save her. Asher is more than happy to oblige, Gable not so much.
I LOVED Gable and his character arc. There is nothing better than being won over by a character.
I had my heart in my mouth multiple times as there were so many twists and turns you couldn't guess what was going to happen next.
I will be adding more of Kayla Kyngs books to my TBR!
He's a killer, I'm his target. I've fallen for him anyway.
Absolutely loved this book! I was intrigued by the characters from the very beginning. An author (with a chief of police dad), a golden retriever and a broody guy walk into an apartment - what's the worst that can go wrong? Turns out, a lot!
Wow. This book shook me. I fell in love with the characters, got devastated and then tried to predict the next plot twist. The raw emotions Kayla Kyng put on paper and made them come to life was everything. I felt every single emotion these characters felt. I was giggling, crying, holding my breath and wishing to turn back the clock.
Ella barges in to meet two bothers. One is giving golden retriever vibes while the other looks as he may want to off her… Plot twist! Ella is actually their next target. These devilishly handsome assassins turn Ella’s life upside down. When one falls for her, Ella thinks she’s safe but she’s actually the furthest thing from it.
The banter is on point. The heartbreak is breathtaking. The healing journey is bittersweet.
🥷Assassins ✍️Emotional whiplash 🥷Touch her and 💀 ✍️Multiple POV
Thanks to Ever After PR and Kayla Kyng for the ARC!
Saving Ella is SO GOOD. I couldn't put it down. I felt ALL the feelings: I laugh, I cried, I was angry than my heart broke again... Yeah. It's a rollercoaster, but it totally worth the ride. It's a dark romance but with elements of a dark romcom too. Read the trigger warnings anyway, better safe than sorry.
I don't want to spoil anything so it's a bit hard to write my review. Let's aay I equally loved the two MMCs (not a love triangle) and our FMC is hilarious. We also have a Charlie-like dad as the FMC's dad (iykyk) and I loved that. He is a great side character.
Jaw dropping book. Really. 🙌
