Short, magical, and emotionally engaging.

When Silver Met Flame is a beautifully written prequel that gives just enough to pull you into its world.

Even as a novella, it manages to create a strong emotional connection between the characters. The dynamic feels meaningful, with a mix of tension, curiosity, and quiet intensity that hints at something much bigger ahead.

The fantasy elements are woven in smoothly without overwhelming the story, making it easy to follow while still feeling immersive. There’s a sense of destiny and conflict building beneath the surface, which adds depth despite the shorter length.

It works really well as an introduction—it doesn’t give everything away, but it leaves you genuinely interested in continuing the series.
