I was completely drawn into this story, and the characters quickly became ones I genuinely cared about. I loved how the Alphas instantly stepped up to protect Valley and Amity, even without truly knowing them yet and the way they doted on that little girl, treating her as if she were their own simply because she mattered to Valley, was so heart-warming. I’m also glad Valley found the strength to open her heart again after everything she endured. My only critique is that the ending felt a bit rushed, with all the major action crammed into the final chapters, but overall I truly enjoyed the read.
5 ⭐️Omg. Twins. Not just twins; alpha twins. Take me straight to omegaverse heaven because I’m DONE for. And then? Twins and ladders?! My soul left my body in the best way possible.
What got me right in the chest was the rawness and realness of these damaged characters. The trauma, the aftermath, the quiet grief that sits in your bones, it all added such genuine depth to the story. The first half is this slow, careful, heartfelt getting-to-know-you burn that honestly honours what they’ve all survived. Nothing felt rushed or glossed over. It felt human…ish. It felt earned.
“I know that Alphas are a trap. Delicious and tantalizing traps that will suck you in and spit out just as fast.”
Then the second half hits like an adrenaline spike; twists, danger, reveals, emotional punches, EVERYTHING. I was hooked. Like “find excuses to sit down and keep reading” hooked. I swear my house could’ve been on fire and I’d still be like one more chapter.
And the PACK. Oh my god, the PACK. Victor, Conall, Olis — these men cherish her in a way that made my little reader heart melt into a puddle. The devotion, the protection, the soft moments in between the chaos… what a dynamic. What a trio. What a read.
This was emotional, addictive, spicy, and so surprisingly tender. I loved every moment.
Book 2 in the Knot So series. Overall thoughts are that this book definitely focused more on the connection and trust between people (not just omega/alpha). Valentina also had a lot more trauma to work through before she could open up. I wanted a bit more info on how Amity was taken? Also as someone who does pole fitness, I loved the sprinkle of pole tricks but anyone who’s worn the shoes described know that one strong kick would have done some damage, but it’s for the plot so I’ll just enjoy it. Spoilers ahead
FMC; Valentina, I feel like her reactions to her abuse were so different to Kennedy which personally I liked. Yes not all alphas are bad but I felt like she really resisted her omega nature. Again the timeframe is still a quick turn around but in this universe that’s normal. I feel a mix of “it was too easy to take her” and “yeah I’d go back into a sobbing mess too”. I wanted her to physically hurt him more 😏
MMCs; I loved Cal, him being the first to be let in emotionally but not physically was a bit sad. I also really felt Victors feelings about being 2nd to his twin and the fact they all let their soft sides show for her. I liked seeing more of Olis too and how they dealt with their grief differently.
Storyline; While the MCs were older, the book was similar to book 1 (I am a fan of this with series) I did enjoy the overall story
Loved the addition of Amity’s character and she was the comedic relief and it was done well.
I do have a few questions around the kidnapping though because why did none of her Alphas double check the evil ones were definitely dead? With the history of Kennedy, they seemed to have lots of security around their club but yet he got in mostly alone? Who took amity and where was she taken from? Who was meant to be watching her? The twist with Gwen made me angry (at the alpha) also does this mean the male omega got a lap dance from her thinking she was his mum? 🧐 he also went from worshipping his dad to siding with her overnight and where’d she get poison. He was really that dumb to let her literally repeat herself 😂 I think I just wanted more in the way I wanted the book to keep going and going.
Knot So Damaged is an unforgettable omegaverse romance. I couldn’t put it down!

Valentina aka Valley is fierce, independent, and determined to protect her daughter, Amity. Her past trauma makes her wary of Alphas, but when she meets Victor, Conall, and Olis, the bond between them is undeniable. She pushes them away but they practice patience and are determined on winning her over. They slowly earn her trust and heart.
The men’s affection for Amity is both heart warming and filled with moments of humor, bringing a welcome sweetness to the intensity of their pack dynamic. Beneath all the alpha strength lies a foundation of tenderness, loyalty, and devotion. It's truly chef’s kiss perfect. 💋
The first half of their story is emotional and tender, the second half explodes with twists, danger, and tension. I loved the ending!
A must read for fans of found family, protective Alphas, and slow burn passion.
Knot So Damaged was emotional, intense, and surprisingly funny in places I didn’t expect. Valentina is such a heartbreaking FMC, watching the lengths she goes to hide her designation and survive her past was genuinely painful. Her first meeting with the MMCs is absolutely cutthroat (iykyk), but the unplanned, one-on-one encounters that follow are chaotic, hilarious, and oddly endearing. When she finally opens up about her past, it’s devastating, and the reveal of her secret especially the second time, did not go the way I expected. And that heat? The 180 was H.O.T.
Amity completely stole my heart. She’s adorable, funny, and her nicknames for the MMCs (“old,” “grumpy cat,” etc.) had me smiling every time she appeared.
Each MMC brings something unique into Valentina’s life, and watching her slowly let them in was incredibly satisfying. Add in a serial omega killer, shared trauma across all characters, and a story that doesn’t shy away from the darker elements, and you get a book that keeps you hooked. The twists near the end had me reeling shock after shock and while the story was heavy, seeing them fight through everything together made it worth it.

I really enjoyed this, Valley the fmc, was traumatised but holding it together until she met the alpha pack who save her. I laughed at the skin care routine comments, because this is an age gap and she is only a few years older than the pack’s twin sons. I loved Cal, his antics with Amity, Valley’s daughter, were hilariously brilliant. I connected with Olis too, an almost cinnamon roll Capo, with a taste for torment. Victor didn’t get enough time til the end and then it was more him talking to his son than with the fmc. But unfortunately it was the ending that I felt let it down, this is the mafia, and the club wasn’t more protected? And how on earth was the second most precious thing to them taken? If felt like she just arrived there. I understand trauma bonds but it all just felt too easy. A few more chapters might have made all the difference. And it’s a shame cos the the rest of the story is good. I loved Valley and her little girl, the guys running around going ‘mine’ without being able to understand why was great. It just needed a bit more at the end.
I absolutely devoured this book. It's a great Mafia Omegaverse Romance. With second chances for the Alphas and their Omega. Valentine is a wonderful FMC. She is smart, funny and sassy. Which her Alphas Victor, Cornall, and Olis find enduring. And her sweet daughter Amity is a treasure to everyone. The twists keep you on the edge of your seat. And you will need a box of tissues handy for the sad and happy tears that will be blurring the pages from time to time. The trauma that Valentine has endured is unthinkable along with what she endured to keep her and her daughter safe. The ending is wonderful as she has finally found her family her safe place and the incredibly heartwarming HEA. And the villains gets what they deserved. Alexcis is a wonderful author. I highly recommend her books. Please check TW before reading. Otherwise enjoy this incredible story. It's definitely a must read.

okay now for my opinion haha it was good and i really enjoyed it up util she decided to let the other men know about her past and one kinda made it about him and look i get it they all have been through so much, but to have it somehow be about him i wanted to stop reading and then from there on i was just pissed haha. loved the ending and the epilogue on them becoming more family and it growing! i feel like im the only one that is giving it such a bad review im sorry.
After reading book one, Knot so Broken and falling in love with the Alphas, Ledger, Jax and Theo and their Omega Kennedy, I thought that was it. I enjoyed that book and did I think about the Alphas dad's, well yeah of course I was curious. Who wouldn't be?! Mafia, Alphas and silver foxes, what's not to like.
I was so excited that Alexcis then gave them their own story and I got to connect to Valentina or Valley as she goes by. She is one badass FMC that doesn't take shit from anyone, including the three feral alphas who she now has the attention of.
I connected with Valley so much and there was a moment in this story that brought tears to my eyes for personal reasons. This book is well written and if you like Omegaverses, age gap and found family, you will love Knot so Damaged.
I loved this book! Valentina is an awesome, strong-willed omega. She hides her past posing as an exotic dancing beta. She was abused by the pack that killed her family to get her. Those alphas will never torture or abuse another omega again. You see Valentina is not a soft, docile omega. She knows how to kill. She doesn't think she can ever put herself and her daughter in a venerable situation with any alpha or pack. One night one of her “customers” decides she is going to pay for her “teasing”. He attacks her telling her she has been sold by her boss to him. Valli is saved by a dark blue-eyed alpha. He and his pack are drawn to her. They aren’t sure why because she is a beta. You aren’t going to believe the lengths they go to be around her.
Victor, Conall and Olis are exactly the kind of dark, devilish mafia men I love, and throw in some omegaverse alpha energy, and you've got the perfect recipe for book boyfriends. Valley has been through quite a bit of trauma and is determined to be more than her designation. Add in her single-mom vibes and her willingness to do whatever it takes, and she is one fierce FMC. The fellas are instantly obsessed with her. There’s mystery, steamy “heat” moments, and a few surprises sprinkled in. Cameos from prior characters added a nice little touch & no worries if you haven't read the prior book, it can be read as a standalone. This pack had me in this world, ignoring my responsibilities to finish and find out more about how this would all end.
This book had me going through all the emotions. I laughed out loud, I teared up and got angry with both the characters and the author at the same time! All good books entertain, great books provoke (in the best way).
I loved the dynamic between the characters, their serious backstory and the trauma they carry. I loved the twist on the omegaverse, and honestly, I just want more of this world.
The last few chapters felt a bit rushed though, all the action at the end had me longing to see it play out even more, with more dialogue and just… more. But from reading the first book in this series, to this? I’m in love.
Well done, Alexcis, I’m looking forwards to see what more you can cook up in the future!
I rarely enjoy sequels as much as the first book. But this one was different enough that it didn't feel overly repetitive, but also had some throwbacks to the first book. You don't need to really read book 1 to read this one. They're separate stories that just interconnect.
The overall story was interesting and kept me wanting more. There are some typos and missing or misused words, but I felt it was far less than in book 1. I'm glad we got little glimpses of the characters from book 1, but they don't play a huge role I this (far less than the father's did in the first book). The MFC is a stripper in this and it is something she does for a good portion of the book. Honestly, I enjoyed this for what it was and would probably give it around a 4.5/5
Knot So Damaged pulled me in from the very first chapter. The story started strong and the plot was absolutely killing it—age gap, mafia, single mom, fated mates, and second chances all woven together in a way that just worked. I genuinely enjoyed the ride. While I’ll admit I was hoping for more spice and knotting than we got, it didn’t take away from how good the story was overall. A few chapters felt a bit rushed, like things happened too quickly and the author was nudging us toward the finish line—but even then, I was still hooked and happy to keep reading. Definitely a solid, enjoyable read.
I got really into this story and I loved the characters.
I loved how they Alphas were ready to protect Valley and Amity even though they barely knew each other. How they doted on the little girl even though she wasn't theirs but was Valleys and that all that matters.
Im glad Valley decided to open her heart again, after the trauma she went through.
I felt the ending was a little rushed, as all the action was packed in the last few chapters, but other than that I really enjoyed reading this. 🥰
Age gap, Omegaverse. Dark romance, single mum, mafia, spicy, stripping, stalking (good and bad guys), murder (off page), kidnapping this book has it all.
I could not put this book down I needed to know that the dads finally got what they deserved in life.
“Fuck, did she just threaten us? God, that’s hot. Come back, Little Devil. I want to know more about your devious plans for us.”
And
“You are so fucking strong. You ooze power in a way that is hard to not remain on my knees for you. You are a vixen. One that takes control of her pleasure.”
Knot So Damaged leans fully into emotional intensity while still leaving room for tenderness and healing. The story explores complicated pasts, unexpected bonds, and the powerful comfort of finding people who truly see you. Even with high stakes and dramatic twists, the emotional connection remains the heart of the story. It is messy, heartfelt, and deeply satisfying for readers who enjoy romances that blend chaos with genuine vulnerability.

📖 ARC REVIEW 📖 I absolutely loved this!! Smashed in two days it was so addictive. Up last night until 2am as I just didn’t want to put it down. So worth the read. Check out book 1.

I really enjoyed this book about Valentina and the struggles that she has gone through so far in her life. Her back story and the build up to letting new Alpha’s in was very gripping however I felt the last part of the book went too quickly. I got to about 80% and thought that the story was going to go into another book which it could well have done but it is a one book story. It was a very riveting story and kept me engrossed the whole time but add the spice as well.
This was a great follow up to knot so broken. I love that we get some cameos from Kennedy and her men and see where they are after the events of their book. Cal was definitely my favorite. I do wish that there was a bit more groveling and time spent breaking down walls with the pack instead of much of the journey happening off page but the story was great.
This author has done it again, a lovely second book that rivals her first and gives a bit more info and follows the family of her other book.
This FMC Val plays at bring a Beta while hiding a pack of mafia m en, ( yes older alpha daddies 🥵) save her and it seems beta or not are obsessed, with her daughter at her side Val just wants to live and be happy but this pack have decided she's it for them and the rest you can find out about yourself.... 😆
Wow an amazing book. I absolutely love Valley and her daughter Amity. I was reeled right in from the get go. I love how the MMC’s Olis, Victor and Conall are so protective and sweet with Valley and Amity. They just adore Amity. Went through so many different emotions while reading Knot So Damaged. Alexcis Morris is an amazing author and I love that she’s ventured into Omegaverse books. Can’t wait for the next one!!!!
one of my favourite worlds are the omegaverse and this was no different. Loved it. Could not put it down finished it within 48 hours. I loved the found family aspect. And adored the fact we got to see some side characters again. I love a good fmc who is a queen and takes no shit. I loved that about Valley.
Knot So Damaged By:Alexcis Morris. Book 2 of 2: Knot So. Valentina Rossi has run from so much violence, abuse, this story is not about a victim . Valentina is a survivor willing to everything for her daughter. The Duran Alpha Victor, Conall,Olis they also have a sad history and the story begins. Lovely story .
Personally omegaverses aren’t for me however Alexcis and her writing sucks me in everytime. Her characters are just so loveable and the writing is fun, tense and spicy. What a time it is to read her writing. This book had everything from trauma, spice, humour and obvious your dark content so please check trigger warnings!
Such a good read. This was the first book I read by this author, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. This Omega went through so much but ended up coming out on the other side at the end. She ended up loved even though she fought it. I couldn't put this down, and I did not want it to end. But it ended with a HEA that made me happy.
I'm a big omegaverse fan and this book hit every spot. From the first page to last. There was never any disappointment. All the characters were perfect and I finished it within 3 hours. Just couldn't put it down! The Fmc is a very strong omega throughout the book. Got to love an ending when it wraps up perfectly.
Absolutely loved this book and all the characters. Kept finding myself disappointed when I saw the percentage I had left of it because I never wanted it to end. Alexcis never fails to impress me with her writing, another 5/5 stars for me 🫶
