(The perfect gift for Valentine’s Day, Sweetest Day, anniversaries, or any random Tuesday you want to impress your significant other.)

A Novel About Growing Up, Glowing Up, and Messing It Up

She thought she’d outgrown small towns, high school crushes, and love notes.

Turns out, some things don’t stay folded forever.

When Lila Brooks left Hart Hollow, she swore she was done with love notes slipped into lockers and boys who smelled like sawdust and bad decisions. But ten years, two failed relationships, and one career meltdown later, she’s back—older, wiser, and still very good at pretending she’s fine.

Then there’s Evan Hale—her teenage almost-everything. The one who used to write her notes instead of texts. The one who stayed behind and built a life, but somehow grew even more impossible to resist.

Now, between helping her mom revive the family bookstore, dodging nosy neighbors, and trying not to fall for the man she gave a paper heart but broke the real one. Lila finds herself asking the one question she’s avoided for

What if the silly things were the real things all along?

Love Notes, Paper Hearts, and Other Silly Things is a small-town romantic comedy about growing up, glowing up, and messing it up—sometimes spectacularly—before you finally get it right.

Perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, and stories that make you laugh, blush, and text your ex, “Don’t worry. I won’t.”

The book starts off when our MCs are in high school. We get to see how first love blooms between the characters. This book made me feel very nostalgic.

It is an all around sweet and cozy book with low angst. I really enjoyed the journey the book took me on!
