Mira and Leo’s story completely captivated me from the very beginning. The way R.E. Butler intertwines their lives felt seamless and emotional, especially as their truemate bond unfolds in such an intense and unexpected way.
I loved watching Mira and Leo learn each other’s strengths, face their obstacles, and grow together through every twist and danger thrown their way. The mix of fate, magic, pack loyalty, and outside threats made this story both heartfelt and action,packed.
The character development was strong, the plot kept me engaged, and yes,it definitely delivered on the heat 🔥 while still giving us adventure and depth.
This story exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best shifter romances I’ve read so far in 2026. I cannot wait for the next installment in the Northern Ohio Shifters series!

I loved this story!
Mira have a lot of surprises coming in this book - but I won’t spoil it for you. It’s a good thing she has Leo by her side to help her navigate through all her life changes. The pack also have a lot of trouble they have to deal with from Brent Foley (from previous stories) and his anti shifter group.
I am looking forward to the next book with Solan to see where everything is going.

Loved this story!!
Mira has so much thrown at her at once and she handles it rather well! Thankfully she’s got Leo to keep her grounded through it all.
More trouble is brewing for these shifters thanks to the anti shifter hate group…. Can’t wait to see how that progresses in the next book!

Man, did Mira have a lot of changes happen in a short amount of time! Leo's been alone for most of his life. I loved that not only did Mira accept him, but both her adopted and biological families welcomed him as one of their own.

Leo and Mira worked so well together. She has been through so much and he was there to support her. These two had a beautiful story filled with danger, action, and love. I am.so excited to read the next book!
