Maybe, Something More was such a soft, comforting, and emotionally satisfying why choose romance. What starts as a live-in nanny arrangement slowly develops into something much deeper, and I loved how naturally the relationship between all three characters evolved over time.
One of my favorite parts of the story was how emotionally grounded the relationships felt. The attraction and chemistry are definitely there, but the romance is built just as much on friendship, trust, vulnerability, and emotional safety. The slower progression made every emotional moment land even harder because the connection between them genuinely felt earned.
The domestic atmosphere throughout the story added so much warmth. The shared routines, quieter family moments, and gradual feeling of building a home together made the romance feel incredibly cozy and emotionally intimate. Beneath the sweeter moments, there’s also a lot of vulnerability surrounding fear of rejection, insecurity, and risking stability for love, which gave the story emotional depth without becoming overly heavy.
I also appreciated how balanced the relationship dynamic felt between all three characters. Each connection brought something different emotionally, which helped the romance feel layered and believable rather than one-dimensional.
Tender, heartfelt, and full of found family warmth, this was such a comforting why choose romance about belonging, trust, and finding people who truly feel like home.

That last 15% had me crying my eyes out!!!

I loved the throuple dynamic and havnt read one with so much plot before. I really liked how the kids were integrated, into the plot. We had some amazing found family.

Monty and Josie were the cutest. I loved the balance between plot and spice. It was a great read.

And I have to mention and I must say that this is a me thing but the Monty breastfeeding kink gave me a viseral reaction. I didnt like it but i know that some people will. Just my opinion.

But i giggled, i swooned, i cried and i gagged due to the above aha. A great book.

Ohhh and i would of liked to see shilos reaction to their relationship.

Thanks Luna Literary for the ARC. This was something a bit different from my usual reads but I liked this a fairly short, easy to read FFM romance story focusing on a couple who become a throuple with the woman who starts out as their nanny. It focuses on the real life struggles of becoming parents which I’m sure people can relate to. The spice was fun and the way the three of them realised they all wanted to be together long term was sweet!

This was such a great story. I loved that it was emotional, loving, and intimate. With Josie dealing with PPD, and her and Monty’s marriage struggling a bit. It was nice to see Evie enter the picture and bring the two back together. It’s almost as if she was the missing link. And they all clicked so beautifully. I really enjoyed reading this story. The bit of spice was perfectly done and everything was well balanced.

Maybe, Something More by Canadian indie author Dee Jordan is am FFM, couple x nanny romance. It is the second book in the Love Me, Maybe series. I read it as a standalone.

This story caught my attention because of the romantic relationship of the married couple x nanny. The author did a wonderful job of portraying this relationship and the dynamics that make it work. The characters had great chemistry and banter. They also showed real care for each other.

I really appreciated the author including the characters experience with and thoughts on pregnancy, labour, C-section, post C-section care and restrictions and postpartum in this book. This was a big part of the development of these characters and the building of their relationship. Hence, Josie and Monty needing a nanny and Evie becoming part of their lives and family. Evie was the perfect fit for this family. The book covers the time from labour to one year postpartum. I liked that the chapters were labelled by the number of weeks/months postpartum.

I also appreciated the way the author wrote Monty's ADHD and his son Shiloh, who he assumes also has ADHD, and Evie's anxiety. Not only was the representation a good learning experience, but the book also showed the characters using techniques that others could use to help with these disorders.

As well as enjoying the romantic relationship, I also really enjoyed the friendship between Evie and Harper. I now want to read book one, Maybe, Probably, which is Harper and Xavier's story. And I am intrigued to read book three in this series, when it comes out, to see whose story it features.

Maybe, Something More was such a refreshing take on the why choose romance genre, and one of the things I appreciated most was how naturally the relationships developed throughout the story.

At the heart of this book are Monty, Josie, and Evie. Josie is recovering from a C-section, their family is adjusting to life with young children, and Evie enters the picture as a nanny and trusted friend. What I loved was that Evie didn’t feel like an outsider being inserted into an already established family. Instead, she fit so seamlessly into their lives that her presence felt natural from the very beginning.

This is definitely a slow-burn romance, which worked perfectly for the story being told. The emotional connections were given room to grow, allowing the relationship between all three characters to develop in a believable way. Nothing felt rushed, and because of that, every step forward felt meaningful.

Monty was such a lovable golden retriever MMC. His warmth, loyalty, and genuine care for the people he loves made him impossible not to root for. Josie and Evie each brought something unique to the story as well, creating a dynamic that felt balanced and authentic.

Another aspect I really appreciated was the ADHD representation. It wasn’t presented as something that needed to be “fixed” or changed. Instead, it was treated as simply one part of a person’s experience, which made the representation feel thoughtful and realistic. Even though I don’t personally have ADHD, I found myself connecting with many of those moments.

The found family elements, emotional growth, and supportive relationships made this story feel incredibly comforting to read. If you enjoy MFF romance, couple x nanny dynamics, slow-burn relationships, and stories that focus just as much on emotional connection as romance, this is one worth checking out.

This was a really sweet read. When Monty and Josie realize they could use an extra hand around the house (as Josie recovers from her c-section), they hire a friend of theirs, Evie Parker. As she begins to help and fit into their lives, they all realize they want more - and that Evie might just be the piece they are missing.

I love a throuple relationship and the communication in this was so good. Josie and Monty are always on the same page with what they want - and it keeps you flipping through the pages as it becomes clear that they are what Evie wants as well. There's tons of cute moments where we see what a good fit Evie is with their family, and how much she loves their kids Shiloh and Hayes. The slow burn between them is well-done, and I love how we get moments of them together and then individually once things begin to heat up. Their relationship feels so believable and that was my favorite part in this book!

There are some scenes that I wish had a little more depth to them (the conversations with their parents & then with the kids - I also don't remember Evie's family being mentioned). The miscommunication at the end was a little frustrating but you are able to see why Evie felt the way she did, and it's satisfying how much Monty and Josie comfort and love her after. There are also some themes I struggled to connect with, but I do think they were handled well.

If you are looking for a sweet and spicy MFF romance, you will love this!

Maybe, Something More was such a sweet, tender, spicy, emotionally healing love story and I absolutely adored this trio with my whole heart😭.

Evie is struggling HARD when she ends up answering a job posting from a married couple looking for help with their newborn. From the second she meets Josie and Monty the chemistry is already chemistry-ing👀🔥

The relationship never felt rushed or shallow. Watching these three slowly build trust, friendship, comfort, and eventually love felt SO genuine. You could truly feel how much they all needed each other🥹.

Monty and Josie were already such a solid couple, and instead of Evie feeling like an “addition,” she genuinely became part of their family. The domestic moments in this book absolutely melted me😭💕. The parenting scenes, the late night comfort, the teasing, the support… I was obsessed with all of it.

This book also handled postpartum recovery and c-section healing in such a real and refreshing way, which I really appreciated.

And listen… the spice?👀🔥
This book definitely brings the heat while still keeping the emotional connection front and center.

The emotional moments REALLY got me too. Evie’s fears and insecurities broke my heart at times, and I loved how much Josie and Monty showed up for her.

It’s 4.5⭐️read for me.
This book showed me a very unique family dynamic. A couple in an open to accept a person in their relationship trying to create what works best for everyone involved. But it also shows that involving a person in your life is never simple. I really liked this perspective, where the happiness of everyone involved matters, along with the care and love they share for each other and their family.
Our couple is expecting their second child and, after the baby is born, they need support for both childcare and postpartum care for the mother. Then comes the hired nanny, who has a difficult past after suffering through a bad relationship and struggling without a job, eventually being hired through a mutual friend’s recommendation.
I loved the story of Josie, Monty, and Evie. The careful consideration for the child’s well-being while sorting through their relationship was beautifully done. The story highlights how important communication is for a happy and long-lasting relationship, along with acceptance and care for each partner.
I also appreciated how ADHD was explored — not as something to “fix,” but as a journey of finding what works best for each person without forcing them into something they don’t love. It also showed the perspective of a son beginning ADHD and a father who has already learned to accept it as part of his life and challenges.
Overall, this was an emotional and thoughtful read that explores love, family, healing, and acceptance in a very human way.

This is book 2 in the hopefully minimum 3 part series by author Dee Jordan
I was lucky enough to read this this an an arc and want to encourage everyone to go and read this book. If you are a fan of contemporary romance with some spice and a bit of emotion this this book and series is for you.
These books are interconnected standalones and you don’t need to have read book 1 but I would throughly recommend it.
I really enjoy the authors writing style and how she covers certain subjects and it is an all over fun easy read.

The main characters are Evie, who has had a emotional and traumatic past, trying to rebuild and find a life for herself whilst battling the feelings of “ I don’t deserve this”
Monty and Josie, struggling with life post baby number 2. Monty and his son suffer with ADHD.
Will bringing some help in make things better or worse for them all.

There is comedy, character development, heartbreak but ultimately they all get their HEA’s
I would highly recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a contemporary romance.

loved this book so dang much! It is my first FFM book and it starting with a healthy married couple was a relationship dynamic I was excited to read about. I loved everything about this book! I loved Josie and Monty as a married couple, I loved how Evie came into their life (I love a good nanny + parent trope), I loved how they parented the boys, and how the relationship with Evie started and progressed. I loved the REAL depiction of life after a C-Section (as a c-section momma, I appreciate the holy heck out of this) and life post-partum. I loved their friend group. There is not a single thing I would change about this book, I adored everything! The third act broke my heart a little bit, that flashback 😭 I can't imagine being in Evie's situation. Grab the tissues, that was tear producing. Their friends are the best and Monty and Josie are the absolute best pair for Evie.
I adore them all so dang much!!

This was such a fun surprise. A contemporary romance featuring a triad relationship, bisexuality representation, non-bianary representation, plus sized representation, blue collar workers... This was just a breath of fresh air.

The married couple(Josie and Monty) have been together since high school. They are amazing with communication and their relationship is so healthy. The way that Evie seamlessly fits in and they all communicate how/what they want was nice.

The kid moments were so sweet. I also loved the side characters. I haven't read book 1 in this series yet, but I am in love with Xavier and added it to my tbr.

The spice was hot and it wasn't just in put in to be the there it really made the relationships grow.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what's next. The mystery of the side character single dad has me intrigued.

I received this book as an ARC, but the review is completely independent and reflects my genuine thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

This book is quite adorable while also being quite spicy. You have a very cute couple who have always known that they were missing someone. They had thirds in the past but after their first kid they stopped. Now after having their second kiddo (via cesarean) Josie needs some assistance with caring for the kiddos. Enter Evie who needs a job first and foremost. The thing is Monty & Josie are super attracted to Evie and the feeling is mutual but not talked about. I love how well Monty & Josie communicate, they are such a solid couple. Evie has some past trauma that affects her greatly. There is some really great character development and the plot is very believable. The spice was definitely spicing. The only part I struggled with and this is a personal preference, I don't like using "Daddy" in a bedroom term, I get some do but it gives me the ick. Besides that its such a great wholesome & spicy read. Also those kiddos stole some scenes for sure.

This was such a sweet read! I like the way Josie and Monty were always open with each other about their feelings. They were so cute together and so clearly meant to be.

Evie was just the sweet addition they didn't know they needed. She was so good with the 2 boys and with Josie and Monty.

It was a slow burn build up but I like that they all 3 took their time to make sure it's what they all wanted. They were all so sweet together and just made sense, Evie was the missing puzzle piece all along.

The whole story was written well. It showed what being a parent is actually like and how relationships can be with children.

It had a sweet epilogue that ended the story perfectly! It's definitely a book for you if you're interested to see how a 3 person relationship can be and enjoy a sweet and spicy romance. ❤️

Yeah no, this was absolutely adorable.

There is something so deeply satisfying about watching two women slowly realize that maybe what they are looking for has been standing right in front of them the entire time. The relationship here feels warm, playful, and emotionally safe in a way that genuinely made me smile while reading.

And HIMBO golden retriever energy in a curvy FMC romance?
Immediate success. No notes.

What I loved most though was how naturally the emotional intimacy developed. Nothing felt forced. Just two people finding comfort, attraction, and softness in each other while the chemistry quietly kept building underneath it all.

Also, girls ARE gorgeous and this story understood that perfectly.

We all know reading is subjective, and that is very true when it comes to this book. I can’t point out something particularly wrong with it, and though it is a realistic take on parenting and healthy communication, and it also explores a very interesting dynamic, I was not feeling connected to the characters nor the story, and I don’t know why. There’s a chance that the author and her writing style is simply not for me.
I hope other people will enjoy this more than I did.

I have been SO excited about this book because I loveeeee a FFM dynamic. Evie, Josie, and Monty are so adorable and sweet together. I loved their friendship turned more and the instant attraction that they all felt.

Evie being the nanny to help Josie and Monty postpartum. When Evie care broke down and she moved in to their loft was a right move for the growth of their relationship. Evie doing all these little gifts when came up with the boys to give to Josie was the sweetest thing and it showed that cared.
Overall I really loved the book and how all characters were shown. How they communicated to help and grow their relationship. How the family grew from four to eight.

3.5 Stars. Maybe something More, it's a poly-romance where there's an instant connection.

The book starts with a married couple and then they added someone else into the mix. The first two chapters I loved and liked that it was included. Great C-section rep and the feeling of that. The characters were great, there was an instant opened connection to which made the dynamic great. Evie, I loved her boldness and how she was like Josie when it came to taking care of people. Monty, I like how dedicated to the family he was. Meaning always there to help. As well as his closeness and great representation of ADHD. The ended really gets you and overall good ending

This was my first parents x nanny why choose romance and I absolutely adored it! Josie and Monty need a nanny for their new baby and Evie was the perfect one for the job! But they also feel like she could be the one for their third person in the relationship. I loved the chemistry between them and how they just instantly acted like family/best friends. Evie treated their children so well and kids loved her also. The pacing of them developing their relationship was so perfect and when they finally let it happen it felt just right. The flashback of what happened to Evie was absolutely heartbreaking and made me tear up, so have the tissues ready! I really did enjoy this story.

I have been looking for more and more throuple romances. Not necessarily a why choose because the married couple is established and are adding a third. One of the FMC's is a live in nanny and the couple were already exploring options before the wife went into labor. You get to see the relationship of the married couple plus each individual relationship with the Nanny/Wife and Nanny/Husband. If you want a romance that touches on domestic living and just all around nurturing and love, then add this to your TBR. This is book 2 and I had no issues with the story but I will be going back to book 1!

I was lucky enough to arc read book one to this series so was very excited to read book two. It was lovely to see the characters make an appearance and see how their lives intertwined.
Book two is a different style and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be for me! But boy was I wrong!!! I devoured it within two days and just loved seeing Evie get her HEA! An FFM romance involving a couple and their nanny, navigating a triad relationship.
What I loved most about this book was the c section awareness, having had two emergencies ones myself I could really relate to it and I think it covered the topic perfectly!

Such an amazing take on parent x nanny. A very beloved trope for me combined with my love of adding partners I knew the chance of this book being one I talk about for years to come was way too high. I love Evie and wish her backstory was talked about a tad more. I also love how the story keeps track of time. It's very sweet.

Evie, Josie and Monty's story was full of emotions. Josie and Monty are deeply in love but have thought about adding a third for a long time but nothing has felt right. When they meet Evie, they are all instantly attracted but know they can't jump into things. Especially when she becomes their nanny after Josie's C-section with their second child. The communication between all three and the navigation of becoming a triad, not just a fling was great to see. The C-section and ADHD representation was great as well.

I fell in love with this family. Josie and Monty are happily married but have always considered adding a third. Josie is sweet and a wonderful mother and Monty is super sweet, helpful and caring. Evie seemed to be the perfect person to add to their marriage, so when Josie has an emergency c-section and needs daily help, Monty and Josie ask if she will take a nanny position. It was so wonderful to see their relationship grow and develop, to see their relationship mature into a smooth polyamorous relationship.

Loved the characters! Loved the story! I really enjoyed the relationship between Monty and Josie, and the dynamics that brought in Evie. The triad relationship, I feel, was handled really well. Yes they were all instantly attracted to each other, but getting there took communication and thought. Communication, due to past trauma, came more slowly to Evie, but with this found family she was able to grow and get her HEA.

Maybe, Something More is a sweet, spicy, emotional polyamory romance! I love Josie, Evie, and Monty's story! It's a beautifully written, fun, easy read! I love that they encouraged an open communication with zero judgement. I love how protective Monty is over Josie and Evie. I love how Josie and Monty as well as Harper helped Evie heal from her past trauma. This is such a beautiful story!

Maybe, Something More is a married couple/nanny, close proximity romance that has sweet moments and emotionally tender moments.

Evie is in a hard spot when she gets a call about a nanny position for the couple she has been crushing on. Monty and Josie are solid as a couple, communication is great between them and when Evie comes into the home, she fits like a missing piece of a puzzle.

For me, I found it hard to be invested in the characters.

Did this book make me cry? It sure did.!!! Evie is really struggling and ends up getting a nanny position for a newborn. Monty and Josie are married and they are also highschool sweethearts and they pretty much have a beautiful relationship. When they met Evie their chemistry was instant and the spice was done perfectly. If you’re looking for a spicy couple / nanny read then this book is for you.
