Twisted Solitude is mainly set in the Boston Mountains of northwest Arkansas. In the summer of 1999, the main character, Jon Hacker, learns that the famous horror author, Stephen King, is dead. To pay homage to the deceased author, Hacker journeys to Bangor. While there, he meets the love of his life Carrie who can channel spirits. Together, the two King fans will embark on a journey of love, separation, and reunion. The odyssey will take them through a world of evil spirits, evil people, and a nether world trying to intrude into a small hill community.
