Nic and Cam finally getting hitched... 🙏🙏🙏

It was rather Later, Price than Sooner, Boston, but a certain someone got impatient and found them the perfect scenario (umm, they basically beat me to it within a hair's breadth 😉). Needless to say that I loved it, right?

A cute little short to end out the series, focusing on Nic and Cam and their wedding day. What they think is just a day at the brewery that Nic owns, taking care of an event, turns out to be something else entirely after a year and a half and being on their 4th marriage license that it supposed to expire in 5 days time.

But luckily, their family takes matters into their owns hands and these two who seem too busy to have their own wedding, finally get their day and become husbands, once and for all.

So cute, so sweet, so sexy. Two big thumbs up!

Une nouvelle très sympa, un bon mix entre action qui décoiffe, moments complices et romantiques et sensualité torride, bref, un chouette combo !

The bonus installment in the Trouble Brewing seriesis a charming, emotional return to Dominic Price and Cameron Byrne. A compelling, emotionally driven conclusion that blends high-stakes suspense with heartfelt romance, and at long last, Nic and Cam’s wedding. The couple’s journey is filled with tension, growth, and moments of genuine vulnerability, filled with with warmth, humor, and deep affection, that make their bond feel real and hard-won.

The wedding itself is heartfelt and satisfying, surrounded by familiar faces, witty banter, and the kind of found-family moments that make this series shine. The added bonus scenes are a welcome treat, offering extra insight into Nic and Cam’s relationship and giving their hard-earned happiness room to breathe. While the stakes are lower than the main series installments, the emotional payoff more than makes up for it.

A delightful, feel-good addition best enjoyed after the rest of the series, delivering closure, celebration, and just enough trouble to remind us why we love Nic and Cam in the first place.

4.25 stars - This was a wonderful way to wrap up this series. It begins with various scenes that fill tiny gaps in the previous books. It then jumps to a sort of main story where Cam and Nic’s friends take matters into their own hands after Nic and Cam continue to find things getting in the way of their getting married. This group of friends/family has grown throughout and shown how important they are to each other in all aspects, from personal issues to the jobs and careers of our guys. You don’t just get a main couple here, but a slew of characters to enjoy.

The story wraps up with a few more “missed” scenes and felt like giving us a little more of these guys to finish things up. There isn’t too much else to say without giving away too many details, but suffice to say, this is a great series that I definitely recommend. It has mystery/suspense and while there is a little angst, the drama never gets too heavy or drawn out and these guys remain consistent throughout. Not much fluff but great chemistry and banter that gives it a more genuine feel. Can’t wait to see what Ms. Reyne comes up with next.

This collection feels like a heartfelt victory lap for Nic and Cam, and it delivers exactly what longtime readers want: warmth, humour, and the joy of finally seeing these two get the wedding they’ve more than earned. After all the danger, heartbreak, and upheaval of the main trilogy, watching them celebrate surrounded by the people who’ve shaped their journey is genuinely emotional.

The mix of stories works beautifully. Some pieces hit harder, offering thoughtful moments that bring the wider cast together in meaningful ways, while others are light, fun, and full of the banter and camaraderie that make this universe so enjoyable. The added scenes give a lovely sense of closure, expanding on moments we’ve waited for and giving space for everyone to breathe after so much chaos.

A warm, charming, and very satisfying send-off. If you’ve followed Nic and Cam through all their trials, this collection feels like a well-deserved celebration. Exceptional series!

I received a free arc copy and this is my honest review

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this freebie short story and thought that it was a good conclusion to Trouble Brewing Series, a spin-off to Layla’s Agents Irish and Whiskey Series. I absolutely love Cam and Nic and glad that they finally got married. Their friends/found family had finally had enough of them still postponing their wedding, and their fifth marriage license was about to expire so they planned an amazing way, which was absolutely perfect for the happy grooms to make their wedding happen. It was really beautiful. I’m really looking forward to the next Agents Irish and Whiskey Series spin-off Fog City Series next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to others.

This collection is so great. The stories span across series and are all absolute joys to read. “I Go Where He Goes” was, by far, the story that had me most up in my feelings. It brings together the whole wide-spanning cast of characters and makes a meaningful statement about the state of the world today. It was heart-rending and powerful and I’m so thankful it was written.

On a lighter note, the other shorts are upbeat and cheerful. From Pride celebrations to weddings to holidays. The banter is A+ and each snippet shines in its own way. This collection is a must read for anyone who has read and enjoyed the Trouble Brewing series. That said, you’ll also see faces from Fog City, Perfect Play. and Agents Irish and Whiskey.

Oh my goodness! This read hit every emotion, pulled at every heart string I have, and then some. I loved how sweet things were with Cam and Nic, but there's so much more depth than that. This connection between these friends as well. The way the story was written, their world brought into ours and they way that it all comes together. It brought tears that I did not fight, and they are quietly falling from my eyes as I write this. Bravo!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I laughed so hard at the wedding story! This is really a collection of short stories set around Nic and Cam. I loved them all. I also enjoyed how the author tied it all up with a neat bow with our current political climate and gave our rather large found family of guys and gals from this entire universe the potential to move on and do some good. Awesome way to end this series! Now I am off to read them all again.

Cam, my love, marries Nic...with plenty of action on the way to the alter

the Trouble Brewing series and honestly Agents Irish and Whiskey should be read first to understand all the relationships (and also...because they’re awesome...what are you doing if you haven’t read them? Start with AIW and then TB)

got a little something blue for funsies too

I don't know how I missed this book of one of my favorite series. It was a perfect way for Cam and Nic to get married. What a "mission" their friends and family contrived in order to get them to the alter. So many hilarious parts, especially their own private "vows" they gave to each other at the end of the story.

I enjoyed spending time again with Cam and Nic and friends and my favorite part was how they were dragooned into getting married after so many times the marriage license expired. The last part where Nic resigned from the U.S. Attorney office due to the horrible changes wrought by Trump and his minions and how everyone resigned along with him made me teary-eyed. Well-done!

A final coda for the Trouble Brewing series. We see Cam and Nic subject to more mayhem, this time from their friends and family. A nice way to end the series. Hopefully we have not seen the last of these two. But if we have, we can be satisfied that they finally got their HEA.
