I LOVE this series! It is SO addicting! I actually pretty much binge read all of this series because it was that amazing!
In Double, Double, Nothing But Trouble the shop where Mel works gets robbed! Well, not exactly. Nothing was taken, but someone definitely broke in and made a mess, probably looking for something they didn't find. Oh, and let's not forget about the fact that someone is trying to kill the detective. And the fact that some a-hole journalist insists on exposing Mel as a fraud. Okay, first of all, Mel isn't technically a psychic and she has made that clear herself. Second, he was just plainly annoying and so freaking creepy. Ugh! I hated him!
Overall, I really loved it, of course. There was so much going on, but not in a bad way. This book was definitely more intricate and complex than previous ones, and I really liked that. But it was still very fun and humorous and entertaining. Plus it had an interesting mystery, as per usual.
This is a series I definitely highly recommend if you love murder mysteries as much as me! They are also very short, so if you wanted, you could actually finish a book in one sitting (I do, lol)! I need the next book in the series now!
