The storm did not choose her by accident. For twenty-one years, Caelira survived by staying invisible in a world ruled by ancient courts and merciless kings. She was never meant to be powerful. Never meant to matter. Then the sky split open. When a forbidden power awakens inside her, Caelira becomes the center of a prophecy whispered about for centuries-one powerful enough to wake the sleeping gods and shatter the balance of the world itself. Now the courts hunt her. But the most dangerous thing chasing her is not the prophecy. It is the kind fate binds her to. Atlas Vaelstrom is not a savior. He is a storm given flesh-ruthless, relentless, and feared across every court in Aetheris. Kingdoms bend to his will. Enemies disappear in his wake. Mercy has never been a language he speaks. And now his power answers to hers. Their connection is volatile. Their alliance is treacherous. And the longer Caelira stands beside him, the more she realizes the truth she has spent her entire life trying to deny. The storm inside her was never meant to be controlled. It was meant to conquer. As ancient powers rise and the veil between worlds begins to fracture, Caelira must decide whether she will fight the darkness rising within her... or claim it. Because some crowns are not simply inherited. They are taken in blood and thunder
Echoes of Atlas is a dark romantasy of forbidden power, brutal choices, and the kind of love that does not save you. It changes you.
oh my where do I even start🥹 this book is a well deserved 5 stars from me. from the plot to the character development it was amazing. I could not put this book down🥰 cant wait for book 2 to come out❤️
The Echoes of Atlas delivers everything you want from a strong romantasy story, while still managing to surprise you in a few ways. The magic system feels unique, well-defined, and deeply woven into the world itself, which makes the setting feel alive instead of just existing in the background.
The relationship between the FMC and MMC was a refreshing change from the usual romantasy dynamic. Their chemistry felt natural, and the story gave their connection enough nuance to stand apart from a lot of books in the genre. There’s also just enough humor throughout the book to balance the darker undertones and heavier moments without breaking the atmosphere.
I’m definitely interested to see where the story goes next.
I received an ARC for this book and couldn’t be more thrilled to experience this world! It’s such a beautiful and refreshing fantasy that checks all my boxes. Found family, fated mates, and awesome magic system. The writing had me feeling like I could jump right into the pages and literally be a fly on the wall! 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely read it again!! I truly loved Caelira & Atlas and their journey of discovering themselves and even when the odds are up against them!
Someone needed to take a pair of scissors to every single sentence in this book good lord. Every sentence is a drag and almost entirely unnecessary. I've read some nonsense books and this one takes the cake for writing so much and yet saying so little. The first 14 chapters of this book could have been 2 chapters total. "Oh it gets better as you go" I am almost half way through this book and it's just started developing an actual plot instead of being a broken record, it ain't worth it.
I was blessed with an ARC of this book. The way I couldn't put it down. it has everything you could ever want in a book, Found Family, a Bad A$$ fmc, and the world building is top tier. Chuck is my absolute favorite 😍
I was honored to get an advanced reading of this story. Book was amazing. The description of the characters and story line was amazing- it was Throne of Glass meets mythology in my eyes. Caelira is a bad ass and I can’t wait for book 2.
