I didn’t find this very believable….or addictive.

Short and wild ride
There was so much tension in this story it was hard to put down. Straight to the point mostly without a lot of back and forth, interesting, and twisty. I'm going to check out the next in the series soon. It ended on a cliffhanger but totally worth the read.

Full disclosure, I paid absolutely nothing to read this book. I got it from a free Bookbub deal. Little life hack, if you cannot afford Kindle Unlimited, or you don't want to pay for the subscription, almost every free book I've gotten through Bookbub was also available through Kindle Unlimited. For reference, I've gotten around 300 (and counting) free books from Bookbub!
I liked the book more than I thought I would. It was a very twisted story about an equally (if not more) sick and twisted woman, and the dedicated, yet slightly unorthodox, young detective trying to break through the perfect lie that created an airtight "get out of jail free card"
the book has a unique timeline that jumps back and forth as well as in between 2025, all the way up to the year 2030. I thought that added a touch of the reality of crime investigations, because in various forms of media, solving crime is often portrayed as fast-moving, when in truth, it's anything but fast.
After somewhere around 45 chapters, I didn't feel the story wrapped up neatly and tied off loose ends, so we're either getting a sequel, or the author left lots of room open for interpretation. While I get that it's common for psychological thrillers to keep you contemplating what happens next based on what's alluded to and what the reader can infer, I'd like a more solid confirmation on what actually happened next.
And for my last thought, I'll keep it short. The epilogue made absolutely no sense to me, so on the off chance that someone sees this and has an idea or opinion on what the epilogue was supposed to do for us, feel free to comment!

Very intriguing…
Provocative characters, intelligent plot line and total twists and turns. When you think the evil can’t get any more evil, they do. Some individuals either have no conscious or they are soulless and convince their selves that their vicious behavior is somehow justified. The innocents left me heartbroken. Selina is a total bad ass and Karma is a bitch (she is just a little slow). Great edge of your seat book, that has left me wanting a lot more!

Great Thriller .... however ....
I would love to give this read 5 stars, however, the Epilogue makes no sense. There is definitely a fantastic twist and I thoroughly enjoyed reading until the end ....

It's not bad!
First I despise the FMC. Nothing about her is intriguing. That ending though...I only guessed part. It's a good read though!
