Dahmer Flu

Rate this book
Bradley Harris has lost nearly everything that he held dear. He was a loving husband and a father of two children, with another on his way. He had a good job and a nice home, and everything in his life was going exactly as planned...Until it was all taken from him.

The day of the Zombie Apocalypse was one that was bloody, violent and filled with terrible losses. Brad and his family were among those that barely survived that day, but soon find that that surviving is only the first of many struggles. Faced with the collapse of civilization as they know it, they have to contend with the growing hordes of undead, the search for food, supplies and shelter, and the worst of all, the other survivors.

Brad fights to bring his family north, above the snow line, where he hopes they will find a safe place to live until (and if) the world returns to normal. Along the way, he faces dangers that he had never imagined, and is forced to do things that he never expected, all while watching his daughter grow up in a world with an uncertain future. When the unthinkable happens, he is forced to adapt to the changed world- or die trying.

Awesome

Well, I almost passed this one up but the reviews made me give er a whirl. Other than the wife staying shaved and trim while he was a grooming wreck, which I put down to what Christopher cox would expect,it was a great story with action grabbing you in a few pages. Don't pass this one up.

Concept was interesting but...

At times it was painful getting through the mistakes that could have been caught with good editing. It also felt like the author was trying to figure out where to go and didn't have a clear direction. Hard to believe some of the book. Some parts needed more development.

Nice zombie read.

Quick, enjoyable read with only a few errors. Not enough to spoil the flow of the story as is frequently the case now a days. Cox tells a tale with feeling. You find yourself getting choked up at times and feeling jittery along with the main characters.

Good enough story but unfortunately a lot of simple spelling and grammatical errors. Could have done with a spellchecker and a read through of the draft.
