To catch a killer, he had to make a deal with the devil. He just didn’t expect the devil to demand his total surrender.
Detective Julian Vane has lost everything. His partner is dead, the case is cold, and the rot in the NYPD goes all the way to the top. Desperate for vengeance, Julian turns to the only man in New York powerful enough to help Nikolai Moretti.
Nikolai is the city’s most dangerous crime lord. He is ruthless, calculating, and untouchable. He doesn’t give away information for free. When the beautiful, broken detective comes knocking, Nikolai sees an opportunity. He doesn’t want money. He wants ownership.
The bargain is Intel for submission.
For every name Nikolai gives up, Julian must pay a physical price. But as they peel back the layers of a conspiracy that threatens to burn the city down, the line between business and pleasure blurs. Julian discovers that submitting to Nikolai isn’t just a transaction—it’s an addiction.
Hunted by his own department and falling for the enemy, Julian must decide what he is willing to sacrifice for justice. His badge? His pride? Or his heart?
Tactical Submission is a high-heat M/M dark mafia romance featuring an enemies-to-lovers dynamic, intense power exchange, corruption, and a hard-won HEA.

Well.. this book wasn’t my cup of tea, even though the summary sounded interesting. The plot was flimsy and secondary. Instead, there was sex what felt like every second page with a lot of what felt like over the top internal dialogue. There were also some scenes where the author started going one direction and then changed midway without correcting what was already written. Example: Lubing up both hands but then never using them. Of suddenly being in a different location than described. So, I came for plot and some sex and I got a lot of (bad) porn with some (bad) plot. Some might be happy with that, but in this case not me.
