My job is to keep dangerous people away from my clients—so how does an off-limits mafia don become the first man to fall for me?
I’m the CEO and security architect at CipherTech Cyber Solutions. Atlas—my predictive system—flags Nico Vitelli’s accounts.
He’s the high-risk client—the one man I’m supposed to reduce to data, not want in my bed.
Then the FBI raids my office, Atlas screaming red while agents drag me out in cuffs.
Nico hijacks the transfer and trades my cooperation for a cage in his penthouse.
He swears it’s temporary, but late-night arguments twist into stolen glances and one unforgivable night.
After that, distance is gone; we start moving like a team and he lets me past his armor. Until pretending it’s just protection, becomes a lie.
By the time I’m holding the evidence that could destroy him, I realize I’ve fallen for the man Atlas flags as a threat.
My code finally exposes a deal tying his empire to the carnage in this city, one call to the feds will end his dynasty—and ruin our relationship forever.

An intense and highly intriguing forbidden Mafia romance. It was well written story between a cyber security architect and the Mafia Don which was a threat. The characters were multi-dimensional and complex. There was chemistry, banter, angst between the enemies. It wasn’t what I expected but was very enjoyable. 4.5 stars
I thought the story was ok. This story had a lot of potential but it just fell flat for me. The story didn't flow well. It seemed like there was a lot going on but it didn't make sense. It was hard for me to read. I didn't get the connection between Nico and Elena. It was a miss for me.
