She escaped two years of captivity. They claim she's their fated mate. The Harvesters want her back.
Kira has no memory of who she was before the Harvesters imprisoned her, carving extraction marks into her skin to drain her rare catalyst magic. When she finally escapes and collapses at Ironvale's border, two wolves find her, and insist she's their mate.
Fenris and Lowell has waited five centuries for their mate. Neither expected a woman with violet eyes who flinches from touch but whose magic recognizes theirs instantly.
As Kira's memories return, she discovers she's the catalyst meant to complete a magical triad that could reshape their world. Now she must choose. Trust the wolves who've proven their devotion, or lose herself to enemies who'll never stop hunting her.
Steamy paranormal romance featuring a fierce heroine, two devoted wolves, and found family worth fighting for. MMF/why-choose with HEA. This is the second book in the Ironvale Shifter Series.
Kalli Dean lives on coffee, chocolate and Baileys. Not necessarily in that order. She lives on the Mid North Coast of Australia and if she’s not eating, hiking or reading, she’s definitely plotting some scheme for her characters, based on her friend’s real life events (sorry, not sorry!).
4.25 stars. This story is triple POV, well written, and a fast-paced, fated mates, immense age gap, ménage a trois, fantasy romance between Kira, the female magic wielding human lead escaping captivity and exploitation, and Fenris and Lowell, the male wolf shifter leads who are joint second-in-command of their pack. I enjoyed Kira’s bravery and resilience. I enjoyed Fenris’ calm support and Lowell’s energetic encouragement. I enjoyed the enthusiastic consent focus, and the males’ determination that Kira’s choice was genuinely the required element for joining. I enjoyed the building relationship, and the supportive encouragement from secondary characters. I enjoyed the non-romance plot, and the vengeance wrought on Kira’s captors. I enjoyed the setup for the next story and am waiting enthusiastically for it!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
The next story in this series centres on Kira’s arrival at the territory. She’s in a dreadful way when she is found by the two wolves however both immediately feel that she is their mate. Kira has a different type of magic which other shifters had tried to drain from her. A very interesting theme for this story was the bonding with two wolves. Kira was another strong character and had to adjust to Fenris and Lowell, the two wolves wanting to both bond and share her. They had their own completely separate characters but knew each other well and complemented each other with their joint aim of caring for Kira. An another enjoyable book to read in this series which was an emotional journey which included some descriptive bonding and mating sessions. The final chapter sets the scene for the next book and I can’t wait for its release.

This is the 2nd book in the Ironvale Shifters series by Kallie Dean. I was absorbed from the beginning of this story where you are pulled further into the magical landscape of Ironvale.
You will get 3 POV's - 2 wolf shifters who are brothers-in-arms along with their fated mate who was kidnapped and is being chased by evil trying to corrupt the magical balance of their world.
This is a novella where you find shifters (wolf, dragon and more!), magic, acceptance, found family, trust, battle of good versus evil, a strong FMC, and 2 mates that protect at all costs!
I recommend this for an interesting read and I'm looking forward to what surprises Kalli has planned in her next book of this series.
Good storyline concept. Intriguing world-building and characters. The saga continues as the MCs work together to try and restore the magical balance. Story is a little slow at times, but the FMC needs time to heal, so that tracks. She shows great resilience and open-mindedness. The wolves show devotion and patience. More spice than book 1. I am curious who the next book will introduce. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Holy Ménage à trois! Kira, Fenris and Lowell bring the heat to Wolf Bond!
Kalli Dean gives us an amazing world and even more amazing characters. A storyline filled with loss, healing and resilience. Devotion and patience. Of fated mates, prophecies, and found family.
I’m sure you’ll love Kira, Fenris and Lowell’s journey as much as I did!
