Three short stories. Three stars for the first story, which is SF. It gives a bit of background information relevant to small parts of the Tolari Space series, without being set in Tolari Space.

The second story has a vampire, and the third has zombies. I consider these two stories as horror so I won’t be reading them again.

This was ok, not really what I was expecting from this author. Three stars only because I enjoyed her other books.

Super short scifi tale of an interstellar engineer making an accidental discovery. It belongs in an anthology not as a stand-alone. This story is unrelated to The Marann.
